Me hizo lagrimear.

Ah, Fairy Tail. I adore this anime, it is one of my all time favorites. So I thought I'd check out the manga, because I need my Fairy Tail fix.
It's a bit different reading about my beloved characters instead of watching them on TV, and it's weird seeing them in black and white instead of color. But, I loved this volume. There were some major plot twists, and I felt many feels reading this.
I loved this volume and I can't wait to read the next one! Or watch the new Fairy Tail episodes, whichever happens first.
Wooooow! That was so good it gave me chills 🤩 The scene of the final battle between Fairy tail and Sting was extremely great!! I could guess the result of Daimatouenbu from the beginning but the impressions I felt was more than I expected!
It's the finale of the tournament and things have really come to a head. The final few fights... well, there's one sort of deus ex machina thing that allows for one win, but the mistake seems to be within the person's character. The rest were kind of amazing. Other stuff happened, but all I can see, all I can remember, is those fights. Oh my gosh.
Gajeel already knew rogue? Or Lios? He was his apprentice? Hmm interesting
Ohhh is the princess lying? Not future Lucy?
“As long as i have a battle that must be won…I will stand again and again until it is won!” my girl erza is the epitome of resilience
I really like mavis’ character, she’s taking in a new role within the story and I hope she sticks around. Her guidance to the younger guild members is really nice to see! “Be not afraid young ones. Wherever you go, you blaze a new path.”
FAIRY TAIL WON THE GMG!! Obviously I never doubted that they wouldn’t 😭
Rogue comes back from the future too? To kill Lucy?
future Lucy dies? IM CRYING. the happy and future Lucy moment before she passes is soo sweet. I was right there with happy balling my eyes out.
“You stole something precious from me right before my eyes.” NATSUUUU 😭😭
Now all of the guild are coming together to fight the incoming dragons? oooh this is going to be fun heh
Fairy Tail keeps on trucking and that is something that should always be applauded. I started to think about some of the Western (American) comic titles and I am amazed at the consistency of the art as well as the constant and consistent releases. I have been reading this so much, that my daughter is interested in starting this series once she gets thru a few others I have read that she is embracing. In volume 38, we find the conclusion to the Grand Magic Games. This fills the majority of the book's actions and happenings…but the biggest reveal has to be about the…DRAGONS!!! Fairy Tail continues to amaze me with the high stakes adventures, but they have an awesome balance of giving pause every so often to let the characters recharge…both situations are equally enjoyable as a reader. Special shout out to Erza battle, as she always has some epic ones!

4/5 In volume 38 we finally wrap up the “games” portion of this story arc. All though let’s face it no one will be surprised by the final results.
Then we return to the “bigger” picture portion of the story arc which is The Eclipse Project and the approaching army of dragons. We also have the whole Terminator thing going on with time travelers intervening to either help or hinder our protagonists. I’m just glad this one is getting close to wrapping up. It’s definitely not the worst arc ever but it’s due for a change.
Laxus, Gajeel, Erza, Juvia, and Gray on the cover of volume 38.
ENG So I read from volume 36 to 40. And I must admit that these volumes have often made me smile. Fairy Tail is also about friendship, and I love that kind of moment. A little thrill for some passages. I had a great time in the pages of these volumes !
The battles were great (loved it when Laxus took his coat off since you knew that it was going down), but the ending seemed a little lackluster. But the Twin Dragon Slayers and their cats was super cute and precious.
I'm not a fan of the bigger storyline because I think time travel rarely helps a story. But I guess we'll see...

I love the cover of this volume where they look casual with the road covered clock and Fairy Tail flag behind them.
My favorite battle is Gajeel vs Rogue, where Gajeel obtains Iron Dragon Shadow mode. The picture alone makes him look scary. Then again, he always looks scary when he smiles.
Loved the conclusion with Erza's fight scenes and also past relationships with other people. Nothing for me that was too noteworthy that I wanted to comment on this volume other than that I really enjoyed it of course. I'm glad I can finally read the conclusion to this arc :)
