Born in Philadelphia, DiFrancesco is an accomplished screenwriter, novelist and occasional lyricist. He has written and produced several award-winning films and music videos. He has several novels in publication, as well as, recorded songs to his name.

He is the co-author, with Oak Anderson, on the crime thriller novel, ON THIS DAY, Book #1 in the Homeland Thriller Series.

I voraciously read this little book, "Right Destination Wrong Road" late at night with candles aglow intrigued right off the bat! Joseph DiFrancesco's poetry is sorrowful, erotic, haunting, honest, passionate and profound. His writing provides many intriguing insights igniting DiFrancesco's spark of brilliance within as he shares his poetic insights in a heartfelt fashion. He also reads human life as an open book answering philosophical questions that beg to be answered. DiFrancesco's compelling and haunting imagery in his poetry speaks of desire, loss, longing and romance and will leave you hungry for more of the same packing a powerful punch. DiFrancesco's "Right Destination Wrong Road" also blazes a trail for all who wish to awaken the muse within.
