Readings by a range of economists, philosophers, reporters, artists, and ordinary citizens explore questions around the concept and institution of money to prepare you to write about related topics in Money Changes Everything.
This is an interesting reader I used last year for my academic writing class. It does what the title suggests, and connects every facet of life to our views on money. I found most of the essays to be relevant to all of my students, whether it be Warren Buffet's essay on the need for a higher tax on the wealthy or a memoir about how fighting over wealth destroyed an Indian woman's life. A nice collection of essays.
