"For her sexy Dom, she ll open up but only love will take her all the way. "

When Daisy joins Big Iron Fitness, it's to get fit and more comfortable in her skin. But what really makes her sweat is gym owner Dack Humboldt. Watching him pump iron sets off an endorphin rush that has nothing to do with exercise.

Dack isn't looking for love, and doesn't usually waste time on vanilla even when it's packaged in a bombshell blonde. Until he hears Daisy's been asking questions about the goings-on at his private sex club. He'll be happy to show her the ropes; on his terms.

Daisy gathers the moxie to ask Dack out on a date, and gets an offer she can't refuse. The chance to explore some of her most private fantasies and move beyond her fears about her body.

As Dack leads Daisy by the thong into the Dom/sub world, she feels as if she's finally in her element; until Dack issues a command that brings her up hard against her last emotional barrier. And Dack must decide how far he'll go to bring his bombshell back into his arms.

Warning: Body builders showing off their physiques, blondes looking to have more fun, and members of a private club sharing more than conversation.

I decided to take a chance on this new-to-me BDSM author, in hopes that I would find another Cherise Sinclair like author to glom onto. While I liked the book, the overall tone was a lot lighter than I was expecting.

Daisy joined a gym with her two besties in hopes of getting her health back on track. The last thing she expected was to salivate over one of the gym’s owners, Dack. Daisy isn’t exactly ready to date, but there is something about Dack that makes her want to show past her insecurities and take a chance, especially when she overhears about his kinky sexual tendencies.

Dack enjoys the single lifestyle, especially since he can get his pick of subs at his BDSM club, with no strings attached. When the sexy Daisy approaches him about his private sex club, Dack jumps at the chance to take her into his world. But Dack doesn’t know much about Daisy’s past, and one of his kinks will cause Daisy to run hard and fast. But these two have such a strong connection, that Daisy’s past and Dack’s inability to commit might finally no longer matter.

One thing I really liked about this book was Daisy’s struggle with her health. As the reader, we are aware of Daisy’s breast cancer and her insecurity about having a mastectomy and reconstruction surgery. So, not only does she struggle with the thought of being intimate with someone, but when Dack issues an order for her to take off her top in the middle of the club, Daisy freaks. The fallout of her running and having to deal with all her insecurities was so well done, it was probably the best part of the book.

I felt like the BDSM aspects were a little toned down compared to some of the other club type books I’ve read in the past. Club 3 seemed a little more like your average run-of-the-mill sex clubs, catering to all types of kinks, instead of a more BDSM lifestyle club. While it was still sexy and fun to watch the BDSM aspects play out, it also felt a little more restrained that what I’m used to reading.

I am anxious to see what comes of the other books in this series, because Cade does a good job of introducing at least two other couples into this series. While it did feel a little too convenient; three best friends happen to all have the same kink they’ve never talked about, and lust after three best friends who all run a kinky sexy club? I do like the idea of getting to see Daisy’s BFFs and Dack’s partners get their happily ever afters.

All in all this wasn’t what I was expecting, but I found myself really enjoying this book. Daisy’s struggles with her cancer, along with Dack’s struggles to help her finally accept it once and for all were the strongest aspects of the book, for me. I hope that Cade can keep up the emotion aspect with the other books in this series.

Title: She’s All In

Series: Club 3, Book 1

Author: Cathryn Cade

Genre: Erotic Romance

Blurb: For her sexy Dom, she’ll open up…but only love will take her all the way.

When Daisy joins Big Iron Fitness, it’s to get fit and more comfortable in her skin. But what really makes her sweat is gym owner Dack Humboldt. Watching him pump iron sets off an endorphin rush that has nothing to do with exercise.

Dack isn’t looking for love, and doesn’t usually waste time on vanilla even when it’s packaged in a bombshell blonde. Until he hears Daisy’s been asking questions about the goings-on at his private sex club. He’ll be happy to show her the ropes…on his terms.

Daisy gathers the moxie to ask Dack out on a date, and gets an offer she can’t refuse. The chance to explore some of her most private fantasies and move beyond her fears about her body.

As Dack leads Daisy by the thong into the Dom/sub world, she feels as if she’s finally in her element…until Dack issues a command that brings her up hard against her last emotional barrier. And Dack must decide how far he’ll go to bring his bombshell back into his arms.

Thoughts: This novel was scorching hot!! I mean so hot that it’s a miracle my kindle survived without any scorch marks! The chemistry between Daisy and Dax was amazing, yet they still managed to have a soft sweet side that was really appealing. The author really managed to capture Daisy’s insecurities about her body after her battle with breast cancer, and maintain a great balance with it. She managed to provide a positive message in it, and really add a an extra something to the novel that puts it miles ahead of the rest.

Most of the BDSM/dom-sub books usually have alot of sex and not much real substance to them. While I don’t have a problem with it, I do prefer a novel that has a good balance between the two. And this book really manages to pull that off. Dax, while he is a “master dom”, also has a caring, sweet side to him that I loved to see peek out occasionally. Any man that is super stud material that is willing to have a “date” at a breast cancer walk-a-thon, wear a pink breast cancer awareness shirt, AND set up a fundraiser at his sex club for the cause as well -having all these people into “kink” wear pink lingerie – is so surprisingly romantic and amazing. Not to mention creative by the author. I loved it!

This book is exactly what I like to see from the more daring reads – erotic with real substance! I will definitely be keeping an eye out for the rest of the books in this series! As well as exploring more by this amazing author!

I enjoyed this book and there are a couple of pretty hot sex scenes. Dack is supposed to be a Dom, but he's probably the least dominant Dom of any book I have read in this genre. More of a romance with sexy bits than erotica. I will probably read the other 2 books as this book introduces you the main characters.

Daisy started out as a very sweet heroine. I sympathized with her struggle to feel like a whole woman. In her case, the outside didn’t match the inside. She was quite brave when it came to accepting that she had needs of the kinky sort, and when presented with the opportunity to explore them, she didn’t hem-haw about it. She was very close to her family and her two best friends, Carlie and Sara, whom she’d met during a Cancer research fundraiser. There wasn’t much backstory on her pre-cancer. If anything, this was a story about her moving forward and embracing a new beginning.

Dack was a sort of Jack of all Trades. He worked in construction, was a partial owner of a fitness center, and partial owner of a club, along with his two friends, Jake and Trace. All three of them were described as big, brawny and beautiful and rather intimidating. He was also a commitment-phobe brought on by his perception of his parent’s relationship. He detested drama of any sort, and what he really didn’t want was a woman who nagged him about his every move, a sure sign of distrust. What I liked the most about him was that he could admit when he’d been wrong and he took his changing feelings in stride.

The male side characters were more appealing than the female ones, to be honest. For me, the trio of women as a collective just had too many insecurities. Sara’s ex-husband had been a serial cheater. Throughout the entire story, something always came up with her family when she’d made the decision to follow Daisy’s lead. Daisy called it bad luck, but it seemed to be a bad case of peoplepleaseritis. Carlie was described as gorgeous by her two friends. They couldn’t understand or were dismayed that she couldn’t see it. A little ironic considering they’d always bolstered one another, yet each of them couldn’t believe. Over time, the collective lack of self-esteem got a little tiresome. There wasn’t as much revealed about the guys except for what Daisy could witness in the club.

I still enjoyed the story a lot mainly for Daisy’s sexual awakening and seeing her buried fantasies brought to the forefront under Dack’s care. He also got schooled pretty good by his mom in the relationship department, and the realization that he didn’t know everything was amusing to watch. Daisy’s character took a bit of a nose-dive for me towards the end. The dramatic climax of the story showed a side of her I didn’t think she was capable of. She jumped to a conclusion involving one of her best friends that just seemed so out of character. It all worked out in the end, but had I been that friend, I would have been hurt and angry about the assumptions. It just seemed that Daisy kept doing something she had to apologize for.

I felt the rules weren’t explained to Daisy properly on behavior, etiquette, etc. or whenever someone was about to tell her something important, they were conveniently interrupted. It was no wonder she messed up a few times. In comparison to the more popular BDSM books out there, the rules here seemed more flimsy.

The erotic scenes were pretty hot involving voyeurism (Daisy and Dack together), and two menage scenes, both M/F/M and F/F/M, but they were limited to touching or oral. As for the romance, there was an undercurrent of sappiness that I found very cute. The last scene in the club in particular. I definitely want to read Jake and Trace’s stories.

Note: Story ended at 93% but there were excerpts for Walking in Fire by Cathryn Cade, The Princess and the Porn Star by Lauren Gallagher, and strangely enough, She’s All In.

My favorite quote ended up being a mini scene:

Then he sat up and looked away, arms braced on his upraised knees.

“What?” she asked.

“Don’t interrupt me,” he growled. “I’m reciting baseball stats.”

She blushed as comprehension dawned. That was what guys did when they wanted to distract themselves from their arousal.

“So, how’s that working out for you?”

He gave her a look. “Be careful, or you’ll find out…sub.”

And just like that, Daisy remembered the bed at the club, with him behind her, holding her while he pounded into her. She dropped the tube of sunscreen. It landed on the grass, a sploosh of liquid squirting onto her ankle.

He gave her a wicked grin and levered himself to his feet, holding one hand down to her. “Yeah, works both ways, doesn’t it, Petal?”

Night Owl Review

Original Review Published here: http://www.nightowlreviews.com/v5/Rev...

She’s All In is the first book in the Club 3 series by Cathryn Cade. Daisy joins a fitness club not just to get fit but to be more comfortable in her own skin. Dack is really what gets her all hot and bothered. Dack wants a sub not a vanilla relationship no matter how hot she is. But when he over hears something his opinions begin to change so he begins to show her the Dom/sub world. That is until they hit an emotional barrier of Daisy’s.

Daisy is a complex woman. She is strong and independent when she needs too as well as a submissive. While she has body issues that she should have talked over first with Dack it’s understandable that she didn’t. It’s enjoyable to see Daisy grow from the beginning of the book to the end.

Dack is a smart man who seems to have a good eye for business. He is part owner of a fitness club, BDSM club, and owns a constructions business. Dack is confident in what he wants and does not want regardless of a women’s looks. He isn’t looking for a vanilla relationship. The only issue is getting to know Daisy and figuring out if they are meant to be.

The chemistry between Daisy and Dack is blistering hot. The sex scenes were sizzling hot. These two are great together in bed and out of it. I enjoyed seeing Daisy gain the confidence that she lacked in the beginning of the book. Overall, this was a wonderful read. This book seemed to stress communication and it’s a great message that we all need to remember.

Everybody has scars. Physical and emotional. They help shape who we are and who we become. Daisy has had health issues that have left both Physical and emotional scars and she is healthy enough to know this and to want to overcome them. She has joined Big Iron Fitness with her friends Carlie and Sara where they meet the 3 hotties that own the gym. Dack, Trace and Jake. She is immediately drawn to Dack. But Dack has issues of his own. He is a Dom at Club 3, also owned by Dack, Trace and Jake, and he is a top em and drop em kinda guy. He doesn't do vanilla no matter how luscious it looks. When Daisy overhears girls in the locker room talking about Dacks’ proclivities she is intrigued and asks him out on a date. When they finally do get together they have to navigate the minefield of scars each has attained. Can they do it or will they end up with new scars for their collection?
I LOVED THIS BOOK! I was so moved by these characters that I couldn't put this book down. This book has some BDSM but nothing too harsh. It illustrates why communication between partners is so important. For those who have read Cathryn Cade before this contemporary is a bit softer than her scifi space romances or even her Hawaiian paranormal romantic suspense stories but just as well written.

There are three best girlfriends who love one another whether they are all together or not, each with their own insecurities but encourage/support one another. A hero who isn't ever going to be in a relationship again due to a past rejection & his misunderstanding of his parents marriage. A heroine who is a breast cancer survivor, standing proud on most days but still sometime struggles with feeling like less than a whole woman. She doesn't have a pity party, she goes to a sex club party instead. In spite of seriousness/insecurities on all sides, there are still laugh out loud moments. It all came together to make a great love story!!!!

This is one of the best books I have read in awhile. I put it down for a day and read something else because I wasn't sure if I could get through the dom/sub elements but this story is so much more deeper than that. I hadn't read many if any books by this author, my android ereader app actually randomly picked this for me to read, I will definitely be hunting for the rest of this series....

Part of a series but stands alone.
Cock count = 35 (highest ever usage of "cocked" and "cocking" (14)totally made me laugh, the characters cock their heads a lot in this book!)

Great introduction to a new to me author. Really enjoyed Dack and Daisy's "relationship" - in this book they never go to the other part of the club where the stronger stuff happens but all the action taking place on the couch in the public area was *HOT*!!

This book had one of my favorite, yet not often used elements, of exhibitionism, really getting into the fact that the couple like to be seen. And not just a little touchy feely, nope not for D&D, they go the whole way AND involve other club members (always a fun time!)

Definitely reading more from this series.

Ooh

4 stars I would have done 5 it took me a little bit to get into the book I feel like it's hard to explain but it felt like it was a 3rd party book while reading it. It felt like I wasn't there with them from his and her side or book I feel like it was someone else telling the story. I will say I loved the details and character that's for sure there were parts that had me laughing some almost crying. And some making me hot and sweaty. I would like to read more books that have more his and her chapters but that's me. I did see 1 error while reading it should have been she or her instead of he. But other then that great plot and story line thank you for writing such a great book and would so recommend this juicy book to anyone.

Survivor Daisy

Breast cancer survivor Daisy doesn't feel like a real woman since she had her breasts removed. She has the hots for a guy at the gym but is afraid to make a move. When she finds out he owns a sex club she wants to try it out. Maybe having a Dom will let her turn her brain off and erase her doubts so that she can have sex again.

Dack is happy to try her out and see if she can handle submitting. Misunderstandings, doubts and fear get in the way. Can her dominate, stern, sweet and tender Dom give her what she needs?

This is a sweet, hot romance with voyeurism and spanking.

I got this book from the library, and considering I didn't have to pay for it, I am happy that I read it. It kind of reminded me of the "club shadowlands" series except wayyyyy less hot, with way less kinky goodness, and much more cheesy plotline. I will read the other books in this series if I can get them free from the library. this one was a little too heavy on the instant trust and instant love scale for me to find it interesting or believable. it was a quick read, but it was just average for me.

I liked this book, and it was easy to get into. I understand how insecure Daisy was, and could understand her reasoning. However there was one part of the book that I didn't agree with. Daisy gets "punished" for something she didn't know about. Now I'm not talking about some information she didn't read, or rushed through like Jessica in Club Shadowlands. This misunderstanding is because of something she wasn't told, so I don't agree with the punishment she received. Granted I'm no Dom, but that part just didn't sit right with me.

Doms and subs. When Daisy joins a gym with her friends she isn't looking for love. She's a cancer survivor who has to come to terms with the fact that she has had to have a mastectomy and endure the refabrication of her breasts. Daisy doesn't count on meeting the sexy Dack who not only part owns the gym but also is part owner of a sex club. She is intrigued when Dack invites her to the sex club, but for a 'professional' Dom he seems to be naive in inducting someone into 'the lifestyle'. Can Daisy get past her surgery and become a submissive?

yeah! Sex with a story that is great. or great story and great sex combined in one read.

I don’t know how she did it but for once the author wrote a great story and added in hot sex that was tastefully handled and kept from being gross. Think both men and women will be turned on by this book. I am happy to give a good review and not have to apologize to anybody for reading it. The story may not be to everyones taste but even ones who don’t like to show and tell will like the story. I personally like a little more privacy but this is such a good read I could care less.

I am a huge fan of BDSM novels as I enjoy the lifestyle myself. This book is authentic, accurate and the heroine in the story is vulnerable, and has endured some personal trauma. I love that the hero in the story is hot, compassionate and the two of them are great together.

a great read! This is the second story I have read in this series and I loved it.
On to the next book !!!

Excellent first book of the series. Catheryn's characters, Dack and Daisy have great chemistry. Daisy tends to overreact to a lot of things, but with her past, it is understandable. She is a breast cancer survivor who is dealing with the aftermath and feeling that she is no longer attractive to men. Dack is the man to handle her. Enjoy the book. It is well written.

Hot and sweet

Ms Cade had given us a great start for a hot series. Daisy and Dack have to overcome their pasts and fears to allow the heat between them to take them to all level neither thought they could reach. All the characters in book one are fully fleshed out so you want to know their stories too. I'll be reading the next one and ones offer that.
