I love action, zombies, paranormal, crazy twists, books that make me laugh right out loud, and surprising endings. I'm an author, singer, and a piano player. I think I'm a little obsessed with writing, but it's what I love to do! I also enjoy helping other authors like me!

I loved this story and I'm sad that Natasha never got around to revisiting it as she had once planned.

This short little book had a very interesting premise. Pax is a man tortured by noise. He can hear everything: inner monologues, thoughts, even people's presence. Although his memory is foggy, he believes his problems began when he was a poor college student who volunteered for a science experiment as a way to make money. The experiment left him tortured by oppressive chaos and sound ever since.

After a few years, he decides he needs to try and live his life outside of the safety of an indoor swimming pool. He, on a whim, calls Jane's number and sets up a date at O'hares. He hopes he can be normal for one night.

Alternately, Jane is sick of meeting creepy men. She is pushing thirty and she just wants to find one man that isn't lame. When the wealthy and gorgeous Pax calls her up for a date, she is thrilled but suspicious. His strange behavior and disappearance on their date doesn't help her skepticism.

Pax is surprised to find that he is soothed by Jane's thoughts. After a strange first date, he still wants to give it a try. He feels a strange pull toward Jane that he can't resist. Unfortunately, before their romance can really get underway, the sinister Thaddeus and Ash make an appearance and kidnap them both.

I thought the ideas in this book were really interesting, I would have been happy to read a longer book that was more detailed and thorough. There were a few editing problems: "Genetic genes were fickle things. She reapplied the eyeliner and this time took her time." and "He was still of the male gender, and she was plain out running out of time in life to be picky anymore."

Also, there was lots of mention about Jane's sister Jen (her superior beauty and grace). I'm not sure why we care about that, it didn't seem to matter much.

wow, what an amazing and thrilling story. You kept my interest with every word. The Plot was amazing , the characters were likable and well developed. I am so impressed Natasha. You have got one heck of a God given talent in your writing. I look forward to reading more of your works. Keep up the great work. You know for such a short story this would make an amazing novel. I would love to see something like this as a movie honestly.

I never read the blurb on the back of a book so I can be suprised by what I discover. I usually don't enjoy short stories because too much is missing. However this read has an amazing story line and character development. Pax signed up for an experiment and something went wrong, he's now haunted by every noise made. When he meets Jane things start to look up. It doesn't last. You won't regret reading this book! WaAR

A man who can hear everything.
A girl pushing 30 meets a rich nice man.
A brother with an evil plan.
A father who wants the best for his children.
A fast paced well constructed thriller with a touch of romance and a break neck pace. Buckle up.
Silence is golden.
