It's been a while since I attempted to read any sort of short story "anthology" set. The first story in this 3-story boxed set was quite predictable and came across as though it was written in a high school creative writing class. A slight twist at the end, but no huge moment of surprise or suspense. The second entry was better and less predictable. The third entry? I couldn't get past the first 2 Kindle pages. I MIGHT give Richter another shot, but not anytime soon.

Entertaining!

Loved how the stories stand by themselves and yet catch your attention right from the first paragraph. No rambling, just pure good storytelling right there.

Very entertaining and enthralling. I started reading this during commercials, but quickly found I had completely forgotten about the TV

Three well-crafted novellas being sold as group. Fast reading and perfect for a flight or waiting around. Each story revolves around someone who has decided h/er only solution to a problem is murder. Each has an interesting twist, although one had less to do with murder than accident, but murder was indeed on his mind. I am not usually a fan of the short story. These are just the right length and the author has used that length well.

I'll buy the second volume.

A number of short stories with a murder at the centre of each. Some interesting ideas - worth an afternoon read.
