It’s A thirty-year-old virgin gets more than he bargained for when his newfound magical power reveals he’s the object of his male coworker’s affections!
Adachi and Kurosawa are enjoying their life as newlyweds! Some things have changed, others haven’t. Every day they spend together is happiness itself! Their honeymoon awaits... Will they manage to take in any sights, or will they spend the entirety of it indoors?!
Meanwhile, Tsuge and Minato have officially started dating, but their relationship doesn't seem to be going anywhere, creating anxiety for Tsuge. In an attempt to get things moving, Adachi, Kurosawa, Tsuge, and Minato head off on a double date…!
I love that tsuge was weirded out by kurosawa’s intensity 😂 and he made some real progress with minato!! They are kind of stealing the show for me from adachi and kurosawa tbh even though I still absolutely love them too. Their lil honeymoon at the end was too cute 🥰
just a fun volume all around, I can’t wait for the next one!!

Yesssss! Yessss! FINALLY! Emotional depth! I was soooooo thirsty for some emotional connection to the characters and it finally came in this volume.
I think a major problem I have with this series is that the author (most of the times) makes things uninteresting and boring. I even found the wedding boring in the previous volume. I’m not necessarily asking for drama, cute things work even better!
For example, in this volume, Adachi and Kurosawa make a meal together. Adorable and simple!
Plus, we finally get some interesting interactions. Adachi and Kurosawa go on a double date with Tsuge and Minato. It was waaaaay overdue! It was so fun watching the four of them together and interacting. There were multiple emotional moments with everyone; it was truly a breath of fresh air.
It was wonderful seeing Tsuge opening up to Minato, and I loved the shopping scene with Kuro helping Tsuge choose clothes for their date. Loved it all! I’m rooting for Tsuge and Minato. Some readers find them uninteresting, but I don’t.
Adachi and Kuro also had a romantic honeymoon. Lovely.
It really is a hit or miss with this series. This book was a hit, and hopefully the next one will be too.

i was cackling when tsuge heard kurosawa writing a song about adachi in his head and he went and told adachi and adachi was like oh im jealous i wish i could hear😌MANIACS!
Married life looks good on Adachi and Kurosawa. The double date with Tsuge and Minato was cute. I like seeing their relationship progress. Also Tsuge and his moments with hearing Kurosawa and thinking what is wrong with this guy were entertaining.
Kurosawa's list of "100 things I want to do if I marry Adachi" ✅✅ The double dating song ✅✅✅✅✅✅ More Tsuge & Minato slowburn ✅✅✅ The Atami Honeymoon™ ✅✅✅✅✅✅✅💕
Also a huge shoutout to the scene of the gang in Heian era clothes. 🤌
This series continues to be sweet! However, I think I expected more from this volume? Don't get me wrong, we got some great development for the side characters and their relationship. But I would have liked more of the main couple during their regular life now that they're together.
Regardless, this volume was still sweet and I still love the artwork. I am still anxiously waiting for the next volume! I just want moreeeee. I'm going to be so sad when I finish this series.
The side characters' relationship should also teach us about the importance of communication in a relationship, especially when one of the characters is an awkward goose when it comes to love. I loved those moments of advice and the glimpse into the wildness of the one character's obsessed mind LOL.
Already impatiently waiting for the next volume LOL
More of a 4.5 star rating; This volume focused a bit more on Tsuge and Minato’s slow-burn romance which I liked to see. Adachi and Kurosawa helped out the newer couple by planning a double date and helping that couple with a misunderstanding. I’m a bit worried about Tsuge and Minato’s relationship though because while their issues are relatable, communication could become a much greater issue for the couple due to Tsuge’s secret ability of reading minds, and especially Minato’s mind. Also, seeing Adachi and Kurosawa’s little honeymoon trip was absolutely adorable and I really like their story didn’t simply end after they got married.
I'm sure Adachi would've found someone eventually. He's so attentive and good at reading people; he just needed someone to notice, and Kurosawa was the one who finally did. I'm not envious at all.
Fujisaki is winning with those fujoshi employee fidelity benefits, I'm genuinely happy for her.
Tsuge managed to make some real progress with Minato and get completely weirded out by Kurosawa, all in one volume. He even had to listen to one of those mental love songs Kurosawa is always composing lmao.
This one felt like filler to me (at least for Kurosawa and Adachi). While Tsuge and Minato are cute, I don't love them as much as our main couple and most of what we got for Kurosawa and Adachi seemed to be viewed through the eyes of other characters like their coworkers. Based on the preview of the next volume, we're getting more structure plot-wise through the introduction of a new workplace related issue so here's hoping the next one has a bit more to offer.
Another adorable volume! Kursosawa was adorable. Seeing the lists he made about Adachi and his Adachi fund had me giggling. He is still beyond obsessed and I'm loving it. We get a peak at our side couple and their relationship. Now that they are both on the same page, I'm curious to see what's next for them. All in all, this was adorable and I can't wait to read the next one.
Ah domesticity suits Kurosawa and Adachi! They're cooking together, going on a weekend outing, saving up to buy a place-- the sort of wholesome domestic fantasy that soothes the soul. It could be boring or twee but it just isnt with these two. Adachi and Kurosawa are both such dear characters, i could read endless volumes of them puttering around. Like, lo-fi girl studying, but BL Kuro-Ada. I'm in!!
Plot wise, Tsuge and Minato are center stage, with their ongoing miscommunication and self-consciousness getting in their way. Kuro-Ada are great bento-making double date wingmen and it's adorable.
As always, so cute and funny and sexy. I love their life now that Adachi isn't a wizard anymore. Kurosawa is living his best life and I love the funny moments when Adachi discovers another Kurosawa secret - now with the added bonus of Tsuge discovering Kurosawa's thought and freaking out. Hilarious. I can't wait until the next volume!
Married life for Adachi and Kurosawa sees them settle into a domestic routine where they are so settled as a couple that they can go on a double date with Tsuge and Minato to help them along. It turns out that talking to each other actually helps 😄
This volume gives us a look at Kurosawa and Adachi’s newlywed life. Kurosawa is still intent on spoiling Adachi, and has many plans for things he wants to do with Adachi now that they are married. We also get a peek at how they react when they get jealous through the eyes of Fujisaki’s eyes, whom we also get some backstory on.
Adachi feels compelled to contribute more in their household, and comes up with the idea to play games to decide who does what chores. This is because Kurosawa wants to do all of it, and Adachi can’t win when he tries to convince him through words. We see them play Mario Kart, Go and Jenga in order to determine who will do what. They also discuss saving up to buy a place instead of renting a more lavish place.
Kurosawa and Adachi go with Tsuge and Minato on a double date. They take the lead as Tsuge doesn’t feel secure in their relationship, and needs support from them. We find out that Minato is confused about their relationship, mainly because Tsuge hasn’t made any type of move on him. It seems like nothing has changed from when they were friends. On the date Minato and Adachi talk while Tsuge and Kurosawa talk. Tsuge finally gets the confidence to talk to Minato about his insecurities over his lack of experience, and Minato suggest that Tsuge let him help him get some experience. After this they finally hold hands and Tsuge admits he does get jealous of Minato’s teammates.
It ends with Adachi and Kurosawa going on a short weekend trip together. Kurosawa was chosen as a project leader, which is great, except they won’t be able to go on a long vacation anytime soon. This means their overseas honeymoon will have to wait, so they go somewhere in Japan instead. We get to see them get even closer during this weekend getaway.

This Japanese Manga romance series is getting long in the tooth and yet the cuteness keeps on going. Adachi and Kurosawa are now a married couple and there is still plenty of sugar. Domestic bliss is how you describe this couple.
Work goes on, life goes on, but life is sweeter with more meaning with love. They cook together and eat together and come up with games to see who's going to do the cleaning.
People at work get along with the two of them. We also see the other couple in the book, the other wizard. They go on a double date in the part to see the autumn trees. It's the sweetest and there is finally a break through. It's very well done.
We also get a vacation for Adachi and Kurosawa. They go back to the old spa they went to during their work trip for a long weekend. Lots of sugar there and we get to see them dressed in Heian garb. This is the period in Japanese history roughly around 1000 AD.
There will be a volume 12 and I can't wait for it. I'm hooked into this story.
I do so deeply love that this series is digging into the "ever after" of HEA. Some of that's a bit jarring because it seems that getting married is a much bigger differential here in the States than in this fictionalized Japan, but most of it is the give-and-take of melding two lives together.
The beginning of this volume is a bit choppy because there are a lot of plot lines happening, but once it settled into the double date and the honeymoon it was back to being the lovely exploration of How To Human that this series is. Watching Kurosawa and Adachi become mentors/wingmen for Tsuge and Minato is beautifully hilarious, and while I still am not a fan of the B couple, I'm starting to see how they work together. This gives more of how Adachi understands his relationship to and with Kurosawa, too, fleshing out his love so it's not just "well I guess I like that he likes me."
I'm still very much on board with this series and looking forward to reading volume 12. If you're along for the ride this long, know that your continued engagement isn't betrayed here.
I never get tired of Adachi and Kurosawa. They are so cute together. This volume just shows their day to day lives since becoming newlyweds. Meanwhile Tsuge and Minato do not communicate at all and get the wrong idea about where their relationship is going. With a bit of a nudge from Kurosawa and Adachi they get back on track and finally say what’s on their minds. Bonus! We get to hear Kurosawa’s thoughts again because of Tsuge and we get blessed with another original song. 😂 Finally we get the honeymoon! It’s cute and not what they planned but the love is there. 😏😘 Adachi is still adorable because he still seems to be unsure of what do or he has that look shyness. Kurosawa on the other hand is ready at all times 😏😏.

Kurosawa and Adachi really do make a cute couple, and while we get to see there honeymoon and the fluffiness that is their newly married life together, this volume did focus more so on Tsuge and Minato. There progression is interesting because, one, Tsuge can still read minds and has yet to tell Minato the truth, and Tsuge may be even more awkward than Adachi is some ways, and his boyfriend is quite a bit younger. He wants to be cool, so he's not communicating with Minato about how he actually feels, or his experience with relationships, so it is nice to see some progression there.
