January 16, 2026Though all 4 books in this series were free when I came across them, this first book I just could not get through. I stopped reading around the 28% mark of the book.
Author's writing was just not my bend.. And her overuse of British slang here, left me confused most of the time as to what these folks were actually talking about..
Also, the heroine was way too butch/abrasive, personality wise and just too unrelatable for me.. And she was clearly VERY unstable, mentally and emotionally as well..
The cover and title to this book leads you to believe the Reaper is a male, but it's her, the female lead that's actually called Reaper.. And I still had yet to even meet the possible MMC of this book by the time I stopped reading at the 28% mark.. Though there were tons of other males taking center stage here..
Author also throws tons of different people at you all at once. Names, personalities, dialogue everything.. Lots of talking but no one is saying anything of importance.. So you're left with tons of different scenarios happening and dialogue, but no order to the madness you're witnessing..
I am not returning to this book or the others in this series.

Im not really sure what to think of this book.
It did engage me the whole time. But I was also annoyed with a lot of repeating the same over and over.
I think Ive read the family dynamics about 5 times. Maybe even more.
And at one point it stared to feel like a report of events.
A lot of time was spend on pointing out how badass the fmc was. At some point I got it. Ray is a badass and everyone loves her.
That being said, there was some fun banter.
And even tho it didn’t seem like there was going to be a plot other then following Ray’s life, I am curious what’s going to happen between all the characters.

Loved the energy and vibe in this book!
The banter was a lot of fun and the spice was a nice peripheral piece to the relationship building with the characters. I really enjoyed the setting. What I MOST enjoyed, aside from the banter, was the wildness, chaos, and mayhem of the characters, particularly Ray. She’s a complete badass and the best “twatwaffle” you’ll ever meet in a character 🤣🥰
The other female characters are great as well but in different ways and the males are all great too, each in different ways. The author did a great job character building and setting the stage for the next book. The ending! 😳🫣 Can’t wait to start the next one!

So, I met Harley, we got talking and I immediately downloaded her first book! Now, I'm not normally a fan of so many view points, but this just seemed to work! I love Ray so much, and the dynamic between her and Reaper is intriguing as hell. I can't wait to see where her relationship with the MC goes from here and I'm invested in the other characters too!

This book was fantastic!! Immediately in the beginning I was pulled in and there never felt like a dull moment in this book. It was unique and so much fun that there were so many perspectives you got in this story!
Ray needed to get away; breathe fresh air & see new places. It’s not easy discoverying who you are, excepting all of yourself, & figuring what you want with your life. After losing a loved one Ray takes time to visit family and travel a bit. But what’s unexpected for her is finding a place that feels like home so far from everything & everyone she’s known-and making friends that just get her, all of her. Nothing can go without action or trouble, not where Ray is concerned so it’s no surprise that’s where Ray finds herself yet again..
There are lots of characters in this books you’re bound to love one- if not all- of them! Ray is a bada**! She’s freaking funny as hell & takes no shit. There’s a dark side to her though that you don’t want to meet..
Scar is the best friend everyone needs, a girl down for it all & the true meaning of ‘ride or die’.
Ray’s family of pa’s & brothers are a rambunctious crew with maybe a few loose screws but what’s so bad about that? They’ll do anything for family.
The F*cked Up Five-pheww, they are quite the balance of sexy on bikes, sweet when they need to be, and just enough of that ‘don’t mess with us or you’ll be sorry’ attitude.
What an amazing debut novel from Harely Raige, cannot wait for book 2 in this series I know she has to have some great stuff in store for us!

This is my first read by Harley raige and I was lucky to be provided with a arc🫶🏼
This book is about ray the main hate yet and it shows us her strong character.
Not only that, but we also get to see a little bit in her past and that she hasn’t had quite the simple life but still she is a powerful young woman.
After she lost her parents she got to grow up with her “new family”, with 3 like brothers and the father figures.
Also she is a badass woman but also a very good friend and she would do anything for her loved ones and the popele who are deaf and close to her.
So if you want to read a story an about a badass female then read this story.
Also if you like motorcycle than again read this story😌
And I’m order to find out more about ray and her life read this book and also read the upcoming books.🖤

I have to say this is my first read by Harley Raige, and she blew my mind. I totally loved this book. I have read a ton of MC romances, and I have to say this one is my new favorite. There are triggers, so look them up before reading!
It is a story about Ray "Reaper" and how she is firece but can love hard for the people she holds close her family (Scar, Bran and Dan and the rest of the dads and her dad). She lost her mom young and had her dad and his best friends and their families. She learned from a young age how to shoot a gun and defend herself. She has done what she needed to to protect her family. I loved reading about all the bada** things she's done and how she is trying to find her place in the world after her father's death. It is a must-read, and you won't be disappointed in this MC romance with dark scenes throughout the book.

This was so fun! Ray is awesome. She's loud, opinionated, a fighter, and is the perfect friend. She's somehow every different thing each friend needs, when they need it.
The chapters were told from many different perspectives, highlighting the different sides of Ray's personality, and showing just how great she is to them all.
I loved the whole family side of the story too. She has all these extra father-figures and siblings (who aren't her actual siblings) and they're all super close, and a little weird, when they all come together.
This story ends on a cliffhanger. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next!

I do not even know where to start on my obsession for this book, for Reaper, and Harley as an author. First of this does not feel like the first book for an author. It is sooo well written, and you can tell her heart is poured into it. I fell in love with the main character Ray\ Reaper. She really had me questioning my sexuality. She's a total baddie who takes nothing from no one. Her best friend Scar is always along for her adventures, and the many others in this book that give their POV make it a great dark romance / motorcycle club book. It has everything adventure, familia, love, ....smut. The cliffhanger definitely has me on the edge of my seat for book 2. Wonderful book and would definitely recommend it.

Before reading this book make sure to check out the trigger warnings.
I was a littler nervous when I was looking at the chapters, and honestly it was only because I saw that there were 13 POV's. Now I have read books with 4 POV's and some of them were done great and some of them not so great. So this book was completely new territory.
Now once I started reading it though, I did not want to put it down. I became so invested in these characters and the way that Harley wrote this book, she made it flow so perfectly and reading all the different POV's was done so perfectly.
Ray is a spitfire and complete B.A. The bonds that she has and the family that she has chosen for herself is something that I am slowly doing. Because friends can become more family than actual blood family.
Each character has such a strong and amazing presence and I absolutely loved reading them and getting to know them.
The drama, the action, and the suspense was amazing.
I also loved all of the swear words and nicknames they came up with for each other.
I am so ready for book 2 because I did not really see that end coming.

Ok so this book has multiple POV. Which is great but gets you very interested in every character and want to know more about their stories. This was a great with with some secrets that come out in the end. It ended on a major cliff hanger. It literally makes you say wtf. I definitely would have read this faster had I had more time in the day. Keeps you interested and wanting more. This book is ruthless so check trigger warnings. Can’t wait for the next!

I ate this book up. It was so flipping entertaining! It is the perfect blend of intense raw emotion and laughter. The writing was unique as you don’t just get the main characters POV but multiple characters in the book. There is so much going on that you won’t want to put it down. You have this badass FMC Ray that is a loyal, funny and fierce. One who has had to reign in her inner demon. One that her family wants her to fully embrace. So after the death of her father, Ray and her ride-or-die Scarlet (Scar) travel to the states so that she can discover who she is, and find her own place in the world instead of falling within the family business. On their travels they come across The Reapers MC and from that moment both her and Scars life become intertwined with theirs. This story was interesting from beginning to end, and I can’t wait to see what the next book brings because of that cliffy!

Reapers Restrained is a book you can’t put down. There is so much I love about this book. It’s interesting, spicy, full of action and moodiness, etc. There’s so much self-discovery, shenanigans, and adventure! I can’t wait to see how Ray brings out the Reaper moving forward.
There were some small parts that were repetitive, and I was slightly confused in the beginning. It didn’t last though and soon I understood what was going on.
The author gives this book a uniqueness by bringing us the perspectives of so many in the book, not just the main characters. I loved that! It really helped you understand and be invested.
Book two will be amazing and I am ready to read it now!!

Can honestly say I loved this book.
It starts at the very beginning and that is always a plus for me.
Ray the lead character is a bad ass bitch that’s not to be messed with but also when In the right company she is a softie.
The book is quick moving and we get to meet lots of characters and see their POV. This did confuse me a little of who’s who but it didn’t detract from the story.
I loved being in Ray’s world and meeting the family that she has and the people that she meets. Family isn’t always about blood.
I’m on tenterhook’s waiting until October for the next book.

Let’s just simply say when they tell you not to start a book after 9 pm because you’ll stay up late reading .. well this is one of those!
I am completely IN LOVE with ALL the characters. Ray (FMC) is a force to be reckoned with and I’m absolutely obsessed with her she’s such a badass.
I honestly cannot wait for more of this series to come out! I’ve been so honored to be able to arc read this book for this author!
Even being that a lot of the sayings were in a British term it was hands down one of the best books I’ve read this year!

Where do I start with this book!?!? It was amazing!!! The writing was captivating and I couldn't put it down. I fell totally in love with all the characters especially Ray. If I could give it more than 5* I would, I can not wait till the next book is out.

Brought up in the criminal world, Ray is possibly one of the toughest female characters I’ve ever read. She’s feisty, foul mouthed, hard as nails, and quite literally can bring a grown-arse man to his knees.
We follow her journey to somewhere new; a new place to start over, and along the way, we meet lots of new characters.
There’s action, a bit of drama and spice. This book is part of a series and leads nicely into book 2 which releases October 2023!
One thing is for sure, no one should underestimate Ray… but it’s fun when they do.

If you’re from the UK, this book has all the truly British banter and swearing that you just don’t get from authors across the pond. I laughed so much just at the insults alone!
There are so many POV’s in this book, 13 I think, so I thought it would get messy but actually it added such depth to the characters. I enjoyed getting to know the other characters and seeing their stories and perspectives, not just the main characters.
Ray is a force not to be reckoned with. She’s cold and unapproachable but for the people in her circle she’s everything you want in a friend. Another review said she’s something different for everyone and I think they put it perfectly.
Definitely check the TWs, although the majority of the book is comical there are some tough reads.
I can’t wait for the second book!

Well, where do I start? 👀
Firstly, I have to say this is different from any books I’ve ever read with the amount of POVs there is, it sometimes made it tricky to stay in tune with the MC, but it was equally nice to hear their thoughts.
Ray is a freaking awesome FMC, all badass with many layers and it was great to see some get peeled back in this book. I loved her wit, her relationships with her family and seeing her story begin.
As a Brit myself, I enjoyed all the slang and the good ole British humour 🤣
I’m buzzed to see what happens in the next instalment and hopefully get some Steel in my life - I have a feeling he’s going to be epic 😏
Firstly, I have to say this is different from any books I’ve ever read with the amount of POVs there is, it sometimes made it tricky to stay in tune with the MC, but it was equally nice to hear their thoughts.
Ray is a freaking awesome FMC, all badass with many layers and it was great to see some get peeled back in this book. I loved her wit, her relationships with her family and seeing her story begin.
As a Brit myself, I enjoyed all the slang and the good ole British humour 🤣
I’m buzzed to see what happens in the next instalment and hopefully get some Steel in my life - I have a feeling he’s going to be epic 😏

Being completely honest I didn't think I was going to finish this book. It started off slow at first and I was a bit confused trying to figure out who everyone was and all the different povs. BUT I'm really glad I stuck it out and finished, it really is a good book and rays a bad@$s. And my heat melts for Ares and Scar and I'm excited to see how their story plays out, and I'm very curious to who finally breaks through Rays walls and loves her like she secretly craves. I can't wait to dive into book 2.

I didn’t hate this read but the writing is different. I was prewarned since the author is British so there’s a ton of British slang and terms.
A ton of different characters so trying to keep all the PA’s straight and the different brothers and men that are mentioned throughout the book.
It did leave off on s cliff hanger so I’m intrigued with how this story will continue. Overall not my favorite read but still excited to see what happens next.

Love love loved it!!!
What a ride that was! That ending! You are killing me here Harley! I always love a good MC book and this one did not disappoint. It was hilarious to read a book that used English swearing! Ray is badass and her bbf scar is truly the best. I loved how these characters gelled and brought out different sides. I can't wait for the next one! I'm obsessed!

So full of energy
Absolutely love this. So much has happened in Ray’s young life but she is a strong beautiful dangerous woman who has the back of her family and new friends. Coming to the US after a heartbreaking loss she finds herself wrapped up in some of the best men she meets. I am in awe of her and Scar for all they have been through. This is an amazing start to what I hope will be an awesome series.

Book one in The Reapers MC series. Ray is a simple girl trying to find herself. She lives in the UK. Now she’s on a road trip of a life time. Where she finds The Reapers MC. She changes the life of everyone she meets. This book will have you laughing and crying at the same time. Emotional roller coaster from start to finish. Can’t wait to see where it takes us next.
