When two people are from completely different worlds, will their worlds collide and tear them apart? Or will they merge into romantic bliss?
Ethan Archer is a rich boy who wants to make a difference in the world. He gives up a cushy executive job to join the military, and he's been living a hard life in special forces with his specialty in interrogation. His meeting with Ava Chestain, cousin to one of his teammate's wife, shows him what he's been missing. Ava wants Ethan but her past shies her from being involved with a military man again. He is everything she wants and is so bad for her.
The two characters in this story have more chemistry than the previous couples in this series. I really like Ethan and Ava. Ethan doesn't have a tortured past. He's a guy who wants to make the world a better place. Ava is an independent woman who knows her desires and keeps them in check. She's gutsy and easy to like. What I like most about Ethan is that his brand of BDSM is more mental. This is very appealing. I was hoping Ms. Payne would delve into heavier D/s with Ethan. Maybe more mind-fuckery since he is supposed to be an excellent interrogator who can break a criminal and extract information. This is a powerful skill in a dominant. Unfortunately, this part of his skill was completely ignored from a BDSM perspective.
The plot of this story is out there. It reads like a bang-em up, shoot-em up movie starring Tom Cruise as the bad guy terrorist. Forget the suspense part of this story. There are so many WTF moments, it's best to suspend your disbelief. For example, for men who work in covert operations, to be photographed and in the public eye to this extent is ludicrous. Also, the best covert operatives aren't sexy handsome men. They are average indistinguishable men because the point is for them to blend in. Still, this entire plot is amusing.
From a BDSM perspective, this is a light one. Ms. Payne does bring up a common misconception and treats it quite well.
"This is called topping from the bottom, right?" She gripped his shaft and squeezed. With her other hand, she scratched into his abdomen. "Doesn't a girl usually get paddled for this?" (pg. 53)
As many know, topping from the bottom is a pet peeve of mine. No, the sub doesn't receive a reward for being a little shit. The sub gets shoved into a room with nothing to do and ignored for twenty-four hours. That's punishment. While Ava doesn't receive the punishment I'd prescribe, Ethan doesn't let her get away with this behavior either.
What I do enjoy about Ms. Payne's stories is her writing style. It's fun, fantasy-filled and infused with cheeky humor.
Dear fuck, the woman's breasts needed to come with warning labels. Pinch at your own risk. Nipples will stand up like the peaks of Macchu Picchu and may result in painful swelling of the balls and cock. (pg. 57)
This romantic suspense is recommended as a Gateway to BDSM book.

Angel and her boys take you on such a journey that you feel like you are in the middle of a movie. Well freaking done Ms. Angel Payne!

Ethan Archer is an absolutely amazing man. He's gorgeous, demanding, loyal, and boy can he fuck with your mind without even trying. He can take down a drug smuggler with only his words, and he can make a girl embrace her submissive side with just a look. He is THAT good. He can do what he was meant to do and take down the bad guys, but for the past seven months something has been missing in his life, in his heart, and in his soul - his goddess.
"You want to call me 'Sir' and mean it and know the power that comes from it? Then you have to earn it...with your honesty. By talking to me. By letting me in."
Ava Chestain has not had the best of luck being with military men. She doesn't want to be on the other side of the door or on the other line of the phone when they tell her that her man is not coming home. That's why when Ethan comes back in her life, she is quick to avoid him, because she knows that one look at him, one command from him, and she is putty in his hands. She is quick to bottle up her submissive side, but with Ethan it just comes pouring out of her. How can she say no to the man she craves and the Dom that literally brings her to her knees?

I absolutely adore Ethan and Ava as a couple. The chemistry is there, the intensity is definitely there. There is such a visceral need and a raw intensity between the two, that you can just feel it in your gut and in your heart. Don't even get me started on the sex scenes in this book. They were ridiculously hot! There were beautiful, tender moments as well as some BDSM scenes that will be forever ingrained in your head. It also wouldn't be a WILD boys book without some action, and Surrendering To Her Sergeant was full of heart pounding moments that had my head spinning. There were points in the book where you feel like you are watching an action movie and it was incredibly exciting. Angel Payne has a way with words. She makes you feel what the characters are feeling, and that my friends is a gift. A gift that I know she will continue to share with us with the rest of these WILD boys that I have grown to love.

Woahhh.
This series just keeps getting better and better... if that’s even possible.
Angel Payne delivers yet another delicious, action packed, suspenseful book full of twists and turns, hot as hell sex scenes, bdsm scenes and so much more!
Ethan Archer? *Happy sighs* Oh boy, he is just perfect. He’s sexy as hell (I picture an Ian Somerhalder type *drools*) loyal, kind hearted, yet demanding, controlling and possessive as hell. Which is everything and more that I want in a book boyfriend! He’s a fighter, he works hard and gets the job done, he takes down the bad guys, all the while making you swoon and weak at the knee. Just a look, a touch or even a whisper in to your ear and this man will have you under his spell.
Ava Chestain? She’s strong, but you can tell she struggles and hides her desires, her want and need to be dominated. Her luck with military men and men in general hasn’t exactly been the best so when Ethan comes back into Ava’s life, she does everything she can in her power to try and avoid him. But it doesn’t last long and before she knows it she’s on her knees in front of him submitting her body, her heart and her soul to him and he willingly takes it.
These military boys are getting too much, but yet I can’t get enough. In book 3 of the Honor Bound series. Ava and Ethan’s love story becomes more, after months in the making, and people trying to get in their way, they finally make it to each other and start to explore their dark desires. The chemistry between the two of them both was intense, I could almost feel it as I turned each page. The further into the book you got the hotter and more captivating their relationship got. This book most certainly did not lack the erotic side. It was actually pretty packed, but with all that going on Angel still manages to pull you into a plot that’s full of action, suspense, thrill and drama. This book did not lack for anything in my opinion. It was perfect!

The third installment in the W.I.L.D. Boys Series did not disappoint. I admit to having a little trouble sinking my teeth into it, but once I got started (by the end of Chapter One) I was hooked and cursing Angel, because I had work that needed to be done!!
I really loved Ethan and Ava together. They had great chemistry and just enough turmoil to keep things hot and fulfilling as a reader! Their passion flares after months apart and there is no denying the sexy Sergeant once he puts his mind to getting what he wants. Ava has no choice but to surrender. . . although she won't make his life easier by any means.
While a top rated story for sure, there were a few issues I had with it that others might notice. I did get confused a few times when the point of view switched to one of the other team-mates (while all in third person, that wasn't as seamless as it could have been). I also had one minor issue that I can't knock the story for, but as a person who knows her handguns, especially the Sig P226, as referenced in the story, it is mentioned that a character checks the safety. There is no safety on a Sig P226 - even the military models unless you do third party modifications which would be a shame on that weapon.
Otherwise. . . I highly recommend this story! read it today if you haven't already :) Angel. . . when do we get Tait & Luna's story?!?!!? please. . . . .

The two go for a walk in the woods to gather flowers for Sage's bouquet, when they shared a very long passionate kiss. But it was only to last just a moment in time, because Ava had to return to L.A. and Ethan on to his next mission.

This series is so addicting. The characters are so easy to connect with and have great depth. The plot is filled with action and romance. I love the connection with Ethan and Ava, they are both at a battle of wills and it’s only a matter of time before one of them cracks. The action only seems to bring them closer and I really enjoyed how well the pace flowed. The humor that Angel tossed in for good measure was also an added bonus. This book s is such a great read as a whole I never lost interest and the story was so well written. I look forward to reading the next book in the series and recommend this book to anyone looking for a more complex read and not just a romance book.

This one grabs you and tightens the hold all the way through! Ethan is the power and excitement Ava ordered up in spades. Bella is the corkscrew in her way. But somehow they manage to shove her aside and explore this relationship that was months in the making. Meanwhile, the team assumed they were getting a little Hollywood R & R but even that turns into a mission and this time it's for all the marbles! No relaxing here boys and girls. Also, T-Bomb has his own close encounters with a certain traitor turned hero and it is just as explosive. Hold into your hats folks because it looks like Angel Payne is just flexing some muscles with this one and the heat is just beginning.

I love this series. It is not just a romance story. This book, as well as the others in the series, have intrigue and suspense. I was totally on the edge of my seat with this one. I love that she puts so much detail into the story. Ethan and Ava are a hot couple and don't deserve the obstacles they have to overcome. We get all the other exciting characters, Garrett, Zeke, Sage and Rayna and all the W.I.L.D. Boys.

This story had a broad range of emotions, and one you do not want to miss...

These characters are now a part of my life! Ahhhhh! Angel Payne is a goddess when it comes to developing characters who are swoon-worthy, charismatic, and honorable. The Honor Bound Series has stolen my heart and the characters won't leave my head! I loved Ethan and Ava's story in Seduced. The Hollywood make-up artist, Ava, cannot deny Ethan any longer, nor can he suppress the carnal need to test Ava's natural instincts. The two are caught up in more than just a love battle as they navigate their way through a secret ops situation and their own true desires.
Seduced keeps the dynamic of the multiple characters alive by incorporating all the Secret Ops players throughout. The friendly banter is hilarious and at times sexy as hell. You get lost in the story waiting for each twist and turn and when the final chapter hits you know you're in for a gut wrenching end and a lead in to the next book, Wild (Honor Bound #4).
Seduced keeps the dynamic of the multiple characters alive by incorporating all the Secret Ops players throughout. The friendly banter is hilarious and at times sexy as hell. Ethan and Ava had me reading as fast as I could from page one. I absolutely adored Ethan and his feelings for Ava from the minute he realized she wasn’t an attacker out to destroy a wedding. (Although how they met cracked me up)
Ava was very guarded and at first I wanted to yell at her like loosen up girlfriend, this sexy man wants you! When I learned about her past, I totally understood why she kept trying to withdraw and keep herself safe. As Ava let’s go and allows herself to be more open physically and emotionally with Ethan, you can see the love between them quite clearly.
The action segments of this book had me freaking out and I couldn’t put the book down until I knew what happened. What was going to happen to the President? What was going to happen to Luna and “Weasley”? I never thought I’d be cheering Luna on that’s for sure.
Definitely another fantastic addition to the Honor Bound Series! I can’t wait to read #4!

Ava wanted away from any military men for the rest of her life, but her run in with Ethan stopped her heart and made her head swim. Being Rayna's cousin and finding herself around these special forces guys made it harder to get Ethan out of her head.
When they set up a time for the team to come to LA and see the studio where Ava worked, she tried to program it so others would give them the tour and she would stay away, but Ethan had other plans and with his training he made them work.

Tait and Luna find time to get closer in this story too. Luna helps the team out with finding the criminals, while she steals more of Tait's heart.

This book has all the feels. From the torment of Ethan's mind with what he does for special forces and his almost obsession with Ava. This book makes me believe in love at first sight. Seven months since the first and last time they saw each other. But neither could stop the thoughts and fantasies. Though I can't blame Ava. There love story is epic. Ava had to fight a lot of demons to accept Ethan but he never gives up. Even with the obstacles coming between them. The story that their love story intertwines with is amazing and has your heart pounding and not wanting to stop reading. The way it ends with have your jaw dropping and so ready for the next book to find out what happens.

This book literally had me on the edge of my seat, griping my phone and my blankets tightly in my hand, trying to figure out what was going to happen next. I was always wrong in my assumptions. This story just got better and better with every page. Ava simply amazes me. Her strength and willpower is what i strive for. She is so brave and no matter what life throws at her, she always comes out on top. Ethan is a powerful force to be reckoned with. He is very intelligent and headstrong. The two of them together is a match that doesn’t compare to anything. The things that they conquer together is absolutely amazing. Their first “i love yous” came at the most special and perfect time. I loved this book!

This is such a great series...not only are the romances so hot but there is also mystery and intrigue. Ava Chestain and Ethan Archer met over 6 months ago at Garrett and Sage's wedding (almost) and had an instant attraction. But before they could continue to see where their potential relationship could go, Ava ups and goes back to Los Angeles and refuses to respond to Ethan's messages and voicemails.
Ethan and his teammates celebrated his promotion by going to Los Angeles where Ethan hopes to finally find Ava and figure out why she she won't respond to him. While visiting the set of the tv show that Ava works as stylist for Bella Lanza, who Ethan finds out was a former girlfriend that decides she wants him back. However, Ethan is not interested and wants to pursue Ava. Ava wants the same thing but her past scares her. She is afraid to let go and see where their relationship goes so Ethan has to convinced her to take the risk.
A potential terrorist attack pulls Ethan and his teammate into going undercover to find out who the terrorists are and what their target is. By going undercover, Ethan can't let Ava know what is going on so he has to hurt her and knows that he will lose her trust and break her heart. Ethan struggles to figure out how to get the job done and make Ava realizes that he wants her.
Ethan is such a hot alpha and dominant and exactly what Ava has been looking for but is afraid to admit it and risk her heart. The 2 of them together is so perfect!

This third book in the Honor Bound Series was really good! I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Ava and Ethan! I love how Ava is smart, put together, honest, and kind. Ethan is all of these things ontop of being strong willed, intelligent, and dominant! They are the perfect pair and their story brings two people from very different backgrounds together for two important reasons; they are soul mates and they need to save LA, of course!! Like most series you get peaks of past characters whom are just as important as supporting characters! Angel is always very good wit the balance of plot and intimacy. I enjoyed the heat level and all the contemporary humor Angel adds to each page! It's a special read and the ending is amazing!!!

We briefly saw a bit of Ava and Ethan in Cuffed and could see a distinct chemistry... Let's just say that when they meet again they are ON FIRE!!! This story had so much detail. You will have love, heat, suspense and just tons of details.. LOVED IT.
You know I kept thinking as I read Saved and Cuffed that Zeke would win me over, but Ethan is definitely up there! I feel like I know them all personally!
Definitely a must read!

The Honor Bound series just keeps getting better. Danger seems to follow the men of the Special Force team and the ladies they love. It is no different with Seduced. Ava and Ethan first meet in Cuffed and sparks flew. Now that they are reunited do those sparks turn into a full blown inferno. Ava tries her hardest to fight her attraction and the need to submit to Ethan but boy did it not work. Ethan is one hot man. I loved this one. I couldn't put it down. I so can't wait to read more. Angel Payne has a fantastic series on her hands that needs to be read.

If you thought Zeke was hot in Cuffed wait until you meet Ethan. Sexy special ops nicknamed Runway for his good looks. His specialty is getting into the bad guys head. When not on duty you won’t believe how he can get into Ava’s head. One of the steamiest reads doesn’t even have him touching her but putting such a visual in her head my ereader about burned up. While this group is on a special assignment you also get to meet Tait, another special ops with his eye on Luna. These men can burn it up!

Unfortunately, this is probably my least favorite of the full-length novels in this series. While I really love Ava and Ethan the plot really fell flat for me and towards the end, I was a bit lost with what was actually going on.
The plot also felt really unbelievable, the POTUS gets his hand chopped off? weird, and this made it hard to connect and get invested in what was going on.
Not a bad read, though not the best in this series! However, it's still a great book for when you just want a really quick read!

This series is crazy addicting!! These characters pull you in and have you all up in your feelings. Ethan and Ava's story will have you hooked from the very beginning of the book! The adventure in this one had me WTF'ing a lot of them time. The entire books was just amazing!! oh and Tait and Luna's love being intertwined!! just amazing!! Again, another MUST read! Thank you Angel Payne for writing such Amazing books!!

I am officially an Angel Payne fan. I want all her books and I want them now! What can I say about this book and series? It has hope, hotness, comedy and holy domination! I can’t wait for the next ones to be released. I can’t give this author and this series enough praise, read it and you won’t regret it.

As this series goes on it seems the books just get better and better. Ethan Archer… Oh the things I can say. I absolutely loved this guy and wouldn’t mind having a man like him!! This book has a lot of action, drama etc but that all seems to follow the SF men. I don’t want to give anything away. One thing I do know is that this series is a must read especially in order. I highly recommend it
