This mini book-n-record set was published by Power Records, an imprint of Peter Pan Records in 1976. It partially reprints material originally published in Detective Comics #400, Detective Comics #402 and Detective Comics #407 -- the first three appearances of the Man-Bat.
[Read in reprint, without sound, in [book:Batman by Neal Adams Omnibus|29631369]Batman by Neal Adams Omnibus] The art is charming, but totally derivative of earlier Man-Bat stories by Robbins and Adams, in order to work in Robin and get this published for a wider children's audience. As one of my first favorite purchases was "Bride of Man-Bat," I love how Francine appears here, and the brief story device: she mistakes her drink for her husband's Man-Bat serum. Whoops! Anyone posted the sound on YouTube or another internet site?
