Not only was there an age difference between Knox and Emerson, but the relationship Knox had with someone close to her, that made their situation not good in some people's eyes. I loved how Knox loved her and cared for her. Annalise was the worst mother ever, and I've read about some terrible mothers, but she took the cake. I'm glad things turned out the way they did for everyone. I would recommend this book.
In Lines They Crossed, the reader was taken on a ride full of lust, secrets, betrayal, and love. The story is told from both the viewpoints of Emerson and Knox. There were times when I felt Knox played in Emerson’s face, but it just made the story 10x’s better!! Annalise and Ivory were two characters that would have any sane person under the jail 😩 every time they were present I wanted to scream “CAN SOMEBODY GET THEM SOME WATER” lmbo the thirstiness was too real. There was a twist I wasn’t expecting, and the author did a great job tying everything together. I thoroughly enjoyed this book as Compton Carlotta was a NTM author. If you’re looking your next read, grab Lines They Crossed because you won’t be disappointed! Happy reading!
The value of a mothers love is priceless. This story lined was a surprise to me. I really enjoyed watching the character develop. Definitely will recommend this book to friends
