“The Other Side of Love” is definitely the other side on Noah; the secret side. Let me just say that the secrets Noah is keeping is shocking to say the least; shocking and unexpected. This book definitely gave me answers to the questions I had from the previous books in the series. After reading this I felt like when it came to Zane’s family he definitely got the short end of the stick. However I love how after everything Noah showed his love for his brother by choosing him over another; it just shows how much of a connection they had before everything happened. To find out whom you will just have to read the book but you will definitely want to know the secrets that are within this family. Some new characters come into play, some you will love right off the back and some you will hate the instant you meet them. I love the playfulness between Noah, Zane and Lucky they will definitely make you laugh. The ending will definitely leave you wanting to read the next book in the series. Noah might be a little rusty when it comes to relationship but he definitely knows how to charm.

I was given an arc for an honest review. I thought the forever series was awesome when I first picked up The Last Boyfriend. However, Noah is so special because he is different from Zane in so many ways but alike as well. I loved the suspense of his secrets and I could not believe how it turned out. If you loved the first book in this series than you will love the fourth book with Noah's story. J.S. Cooper has truly outdone herself again!

Have you ever become addicted to an amazing book series where the characters become as dear to your heart as your very own loved ones? Have you been strung out waiting for the next book to release in a series? Have you counted down the months, days, hours, minutes, and seconds until that book releases? Have you stalked Amazon , Barnes and Noble, and other book retailers for the book to go live? Have you dropped every thing to read that book? I have! The Other Side Of Love by J. S. Cooper, the fourth book in The Forever Love series, was the book. It was well worth the wait, well worth the stalking, and well worth ignoring my life so I could “read” this book.
I have reviewed every book in this series. I fell in love with Zane Beaumont and Lucky Morgan. Their journey, their relationship, and their personalities capture the heart. The very thing that brought these two together was Zane’s quest to find justice for the death of his younger brother Noah.
Noah Beaumont had become involved with a very fast paced party crowd. The friendships and woman he became involved in took him down a very dangerous road. Their involvement with drugs and the cartel became life threatening to Noah and his family. The very woman he supposedly loved was the one person who could destroy Noah’s life. The guilt, heartbreak, and pressure cause Noah to take his own life. Zane is on a path of vengeance. He is working with the FBI to bring those who destroyed his brother’s life to justice. Going against the cartel is very dangerous mission. Zane will have to do many things that go against his personal and moral beliefs. It is worth the risk.
Zane succeeds in bringing the cartel to justice. Even though he got the justice he wanted for Noah’s life, he still was devastated by his loss of his only family, his best friend, his brother. But was Noah really lost?
Noah Beaumont’s death was a product of the FBI. He has been in hiding for over a year while the FBI worked the case against the cartel. The FBI knew that was the only way that they could get Zane to become an informer and the only way to keep Noah alive. It was a game that forever changed Noah and Zane’s life. A year can change everything. Including Noah.
Noah Beaumont has his life back. His brother has changed for the better. His brother is now happy and in a very good relationship with an amazing girl. His life has moved forward. Noah’s life was put on hold. What happened in that year will forever change Noah’s life. He will become a prisoner of that year. He will not be able to move forward because of that year.
Noah meets two girls that he will have to choose between. Both have a hold of his heart. One will affect the direction of his future choices and the life he has returned to. The other will be the one that captures his forever love. The forever he may not ever have because of choices.
Noah has many secrets. These secrets can destroy him. They can destroy his relationship with Zane. They can destroy his chance at the love that comes once in a lifetime.
Noah Beaumont is a beautiful soul with a pure heart. He cherishes those he loves. He loves with an intensity. His will always stand up for those who are victims. He will do everything in his power to make things right. He will sacrifice his own life for those he loves. Noah Beaumont will steal your heart!
On that note….I will just say this….I love The Forever Love series! I am already counting down the days, hours, minutes, and seconds for the next book, Zane and Lucky’s First Christmas, December 5, 2013.

I did know what I was going to think of Noah when I started this book and I still don’t.
I was concerned half way through the book that Noah was just confused and playing Robin. However, at the end of the book we learn the “twist” of the whole Skyla situation. Not sure how I feel about that still. I have concerns about how everything played out in the end.
I liked figuring out what was going on in Noah’s life while he was in hiding. I liked how we found more information about Noah and Zane’s mother.
These stories continue with every book. It is not just one story surrounding a couple in a series and then it ends and we start with a whole new couple with a whole new situation. With every book in the series, old and new characters are brought into the story.
I am not sure how I feel about Robin. I like her. I think she is a great person, but I am concerned about how Noah is going to handle her feelings. Not sure how I feel about Noah being with Robin and him just coming back home and dealing with his life.
I loved how we got to see more of Lucky and Zane. They are still my favorite couple. I love how they interact and work together to help Noah with his love interest. Zane may act “bothered” with Lucky always trying to fix things, but secretly I think he loves how she involves him in her matchmaking. Like I said, they are still my favorite.

Wow, that is all I can say. It blew me away. There were twist and turns and epic revels, that left me throwing my iPad across the room, jumping up and down on my bed Tom Cruise style scream, I knew it, I fu#ken knew it! at 3am in the morning, resulting my neighbours banging on the wall screaming at me to pipe down.
Speechless is an understatement, blown away, is also an understatement. I actually personally contacted Mz Cooper on her Facebook fan page and was like bravo, and holy fu#k balls Batman.
What can one say about NOAH? Holy crap... This man is everything one wants, dark, mysterious, and he has a big, kind wonderful heart, that is filled with love. We are introduced to new characters, I'm loving Robin. Gotta love Sid and Betty, the way that J.S. has introduce historical events and themes through out her work has been inventive and has been very rewarding for someone like myself who studied the American civil rights movement, and enjoyed this theme in the book very much.
The introduction of Skylar and Noah's relationship left us as a reader FLOORED. All I can say is that this women knows how to write b*tches, & there are b*tches in this book!
Like I said, this book left me jumping around like Tom Cruise, wanting to cu*t punt & b*tch slap one of the characters! but my GOSH I loved it all..... Highly recommended

"The Other Side of Love" is the story of Noah and his secrets. Well let me tell you something, JS Cooper, you literally blew me away with those secrets that got revealed!! We learn about the time that Noah was away, where he went, who he met and what he did. We also learn the secret about their mom, why she left. We also get 2 new people in Noah's life, Robin and Skylar(I just love that name). We also get more of Zane and Lucky and the way the reacted with Noah now that he is back home. I love the camaraderie that the 3 of them have together, their witty banter just had me laughing. Zane and Noah had some heated discussions too. And don't let me leave out the hot sex of course. I could write more, but you just need to read this book for yourself especially if you have read the first 3 in the Forever Love series. I received an arc for an honest review.

NOAH BEAUMONT WAS PRESUMED DEAD, BUT ACTUALLY IN POLICE PROTECTION WHILE DRUG DEALERS WERE BEING TAKEN DOWN....WELL HES BACK. AND SECRETS WHETHER NEW SECRETS OR BURIED SECRETS ALWAYS SEEM TO SURFACE. HIS RELATIONSHIP WITH HIS BROTHER ZANE IS STRONG, BUT NOAH WORRIES THE SCRETS HE HIDES FROM ZANE ARE UNFORGIVEABLE. THERES ALSO ROBIN, A WAITRESS WITH A FIESTY ATTITUDE, CAN NOAH MOVE ON WITH PAST HIRTS AND LEARN TO GIVE HIS HEART AND TRULY FIND LOVE. I enjoyed the book. Quick read but was predictable and was easy to figure out what the twists were. Sad the series will be coming to a close after the next book.

It didn't make sense for their father to still be paying off the mother after all these years. Especially if he wasn't a nice guy any way not to mention why hide the fact that Zane' s mother had passed and her identity. Hopefully that will be addressed in the last book.

This book was amazing. Once I started there was no putting it down. It was the only thing that kept me going during a very chaotic week. I escaped into the story and was able to escape reality for a few hours.
It moved along at an amazing pace, had characters that you fall instantly in love with and want to see them succeed and a story that was amazing.
J. S. Cooper is an amazing author and I am looking forward to reading the next amazing story that she writes.

All I can say is, Noah has some secrets. I was shocked to read what they were. I will say this. It was a good one. I enjoyed this book along with the rest of this series. I loved reading more about Zane and Lucky as well.
Another good book by J.S. Cooper. I can't wait to see what happens next with Zane, Lucky, Noah and Robin.

So excited to read the 4 th book in the forever love series featuring Noah. I was very happy with the dynamic between Noah / Zane / lucky / robin. My heart swelled with happiness when skylark was introduced. Lots of surprises in this book . Highly recommend this to anyone. That Sydney is one smart man!!! When need a book about Sydney and Betty !!!! I just love them!!!

Noah is out of hiding. But still keeping secrets from the people he loves. When he faked his death he had to stay in southern Florida bad area met someone and couldn't bring her back to help her. When he comes home he meets robin and falls for her. But does he have enough feelings to tell her the truth???? Need to read. Makes you think one thing and it's totally something else. Couldn't put down till I was done. On to the last installment. Sniff sniff..

Can I just mention this is Zane's little brother? How about the long lost little brother? We were shocked to hear that Noah was with us in the last book. Now we get Noah's story. My heart broke for Noah as his story unfolds and I could never have been prepared for the ending. That being said the interaction of characters is fantastic. You gotta love Sidney and Betty, they are like the grandparents everyone should have.

This book confused the heck out of me. Who’s Skyler and if Noah loves her why is he interested in Robin? That part will really surprise you.
I loved that Lucky loved Noah like a brother. I loved their friendship.
We find out why Zane and Noah’s Mother abandoned. It’s heartbreaking. I just don’t understand how a Mother can be so heartless.

Noah’s been hiding at Palm Bonita city full of criminals. Met Monica who he suspected was abused by domestic violence. He took care of her step-daughter, Skylar but have to leave the town. He fell in love with Robin the waitress. Monica came and demanded 1 million and she will sign over the custody for Skylar to Noah.

This was a nice relaxing read
Readers receive a new more personal view into who Noah Beaumont is. His time while hiding in Palm Bonita, Florida was not all rainbows and kitties there was a tigress that was pure evil and an angel needing protecting.

This is the best book of the series but it's still tiresome to read. We finally get all the answers to the secrets/mysteries in the backstory but they fall flat and generate very little if any fanfare once they are revealed. The relationships in these books have SUCH annoying females. Gosh, if all I met in life were these annoying creatures...I'd have NO friends. I wish I could share more but there's just nothing I enjoyed about this series. The secrets kept me reading and when the ending was rushed and the one thing that carried me thru these books was summed up in a dozen pages...I can't recommend anyone reading any of these books. I just wasted a week of my life on these nightmares. Don't do the same...

"That was the thing with love; sometimes, no matter how badly you wanted to be with someone and take care of them, there were obstacles that were beyond your control. Sometimes you had to know when to walk away."
I think we all needed this story about Noah! JS Cooper did a great job with bringing Noah back into the picture and creating great tension between Noah and Zane. There was so much love in this book it was almost too much. Almost. Just that alone has me loving the book so much I want to read it again and I definitely want more of Zane and Noah. They have to be the best brothers to each other ever! So much love for each other!

The book is of course based around Noah and his return and the secrets he is keeping from the ones he loves dearly. These secrets have everything to do with his time away in Palm Bonita, Florida. Which had its ups and downs. He left someone he loves back in Florida and in doing so is dealing with the turmoil of his decision internally. JS Cooper does a wonderful job giving you just enough information to keep you reading more, but not enough for you to know what is really going on with Noah’s situation. I love the flashbacks Noah has basically at the beginning of every chapter and it is these flashbacks that give you a bit more information of his time away. Mentions of a female by the name of Skylar, someone he loves yet has left behind, but is desperately trying to figure out a way to get her out of Palm Bonita, but in doing so they will be on the run.
"I think that when you love someone and you have a good heart, it shouldn't matter who the biological parents are."
Meanwhile, Noah is also keeping another secret, this secret he is keeping from Zane because he feels that it will break him worse than their mother leaving them as kids or him faking his own death. Noah is so afraid that not only will Zane not be able to handle the truth, but that he might lose his brother forever and doesn’t want to risk any of that so he keeps it inside. However, Zane knowing his brother so well knows he is keeping something from him. Both Zane and Lucky try to get Noah to open up by watching him closely and telling him that holding it in is unhealthy and that he can tell them anything. Being the loving family that Zane and Lucky are they decide to take things into their own hands with good intentions, but just might have made the situation for Noah worse along with possibly putting themselves in danger.
"So yes, if it came to it, I could love both of your children as my own very easily and I would take care of them as my own."
One secret is shocking and definitely not what you were thinking and the other just breaks your heart!
Overall, the book is a great read and also has some great life messages intertwined into it. Anyone that is a fan o f JS Cooper will love this a addition to the Forever Love series and for new fans it will make you fall in love with Noah Beaumont.

Ok, really I didn’t expect to read this book in less than four hours. Ok, lie, I can read a book quite fast if it’s catchy. So, blame the author for this fast read and pretty much my reading habits. Argh, okay, scratch all that babbling, yes?
So, Noah is back from the dead! and his story is here. After witnessing some drug cartel thingy, Noah’s sent into “not-witness protection program” and pretty much got involved in this town he was in (can’t tell, is a secret!)… And being the helpless romantic type — yes, he’s sensitive, grown man but sensitive—, his heart opened up towards one person who occupied his mind night and day since he got back… and it’s Skylar (and damn! Beware of the awesome plot twist with this one!)
And being back, he can’t shake the awful feeling of dread about Skylar, plus, a sense of protectiveness — secret kept under lock and key (not really, but like the suspense) about his brother, Zane. Well, let’s just say this secret wasn’t much of a secret after the third or fourth chapter for me… but still, a secret towards who he is, and answers to a few motherly reactions in the past…
Clearly you will get emotional with young Noah, I did. (read flashbacks)
And then there is this girl — It seams like history is sorta repeating itself — Robin, a beautiful waitress will catch his eye, and body instantly (no pun intended), their chemistry will be evident, and be very ready for a fast Fall-In-Love situation. Not much to talk about Robin, except that she’s a good girl with her own baggage, but couldn’t love her as much as I love Zane and Lucky.

Wow…. JS Cooper really has out done herself with this novel…
I kept wandering the whole time what secrets Noah was hiding and what could really be so big that he was completely torn with what to do about Skylar. I definitely was not expecting the story to take a turn the way it did and I kept thinking to myself I had figured the story out…. I was SO wrong!
I loved Noah’s character and the heart he has. He cares so much about family and will do whatever he needs to, to keep his family protected. He is hiding a secret from Zane and you understand why he wants to keep it a secret once it is revealed but your heart breaks for him because he really does need to share the information he knows. I felt that Noah took on a lot more than what he needed to at times. If he would have just opened up completely to those that loved him maybe things could have worked out quicker.

This is one of those books you definitely need to pick up and read because you will keep guessing until the end.

I cannot tell you how much I loved this last installment in the Forever Love Series.
The Other Side of Love has go to be hands down my favorite of this series so far. Noah has weaseled his way in to my heart and will fight anyone who tries to take his spot.
First if you haven't read The Last Boyfriend, The Last Husband, and Before Lucky DO NOT read this one. This is book four of a series and must be read as such. Also there may be some spoilers in this review regarding those so be careful while reading further.
So we find out in the Last Husband that the brother that Zane lost and was hellbent on revenge for was in fact not dead. What we didn't know was where he was and what he was doing while away. Why did he not tell Zane everything. Also why does Zane's mother pretend she doesn't know him. Well Ladies (and gents) Those answers are FINALLY given too us and there is no way you could predict what you find out. The twists and turns in this book broke my heart as well as swelled it full of love. I freakin' fell deeply in love with Noah Beaumont in this book but it also if possible made me love Zane so much more. Yes we knew Zane loved his brother and nothing else until Lucky but man the unconditional love for family shown in this book is heartwarming. This is a story of love and loss as well as that family isn't completely by the book it is what you make of it.
J.S. Cooper really outdid her self on this one and I am so excited to see where the Beaumonts go from here and am anxiously awaiting the finally of this family coming 12/5/13 in Zane and Lucky's First Christmas! How ever I am super excited but will be sad to see them go. (Good news though I will reread them over and over!!)

The Other Side of Love is Noah's story. You can NOT read this book without reading The Last Boyfriend, The Last Husband, and Before Lucky. This is a must follow rule :) as you need to know the background of Noah!
Ok so now on to the review (which I'm not very good at).
Noah has returned and accompanying him are secrets and fears. His big brother Zane has pretty much raised him after their mother walked out and Noah doesn't want to give Zane information about their mother. It is info that only Noah knows and could send Zane off the deep end. Noah is hesitant to reveal anything because Zane is in a good place, especially with Lucky by his side. Slowly but surely Noah starts to open up and reveal things about his time away. This is where we learn about Skylar and Noah's heartfelt love for her. She is the sunshine in a very dark place. However she is unable to return with him. Meanwhile Zane and Lucky believe its time for Noah to start to move on with his life and into the picture enters Robin. Noah starts to feel an attraction towards Robin but he doesn't want to break her heart as he is still dealing with past issues. As the story continues to unfold more people will enter and they will definitely test Noah. Will love and devotion prevail? What is the true meaning of family? You must read the book to find those answers!
JS Cooper wrote an amazing story that has the twists and turns which makes it impossible for the reader to put the book down. I'm definitely looking forward to reading more about Zane, Lucky, and Noah in the next book titled Zane and Lucky's First Christmas due out on 12/05/2013.

Ok so I was doing for this book to come out because the teasers were killing me. This book way way different from anything Ms. Cooper has done before IMHO.
I receIved this book as an ARC for an honest opinion. The following review is an honest and unbiased opinion based on my interpretation of the above book.
For starters I loved the book and couldn't put it down. I'm a nosy body and not knowing Noah's secret was killing me. That was a heck of a burden to have to keep to himself. Btw totally hated Lucky in this book. When did she become such a pushy little snot? Trying to push Noah in to dating and giving up his secrets I mean geesh you just met the boy for the first time ever, you don't know him like that to be all up in his grill. back up girl.
Second, I had to go back and reread some parts because I started confusing studf in my head and when I got to the end and found out what was what and who was what I was like huh? So yeah a re-read of some scenes were in order for me but I had a lot going on this week and was operating on a third of my usual hours of sleep so brain function wasn't optimal.
Third... some questions that have been bothering me
1.) Why does Zane have money and Noah doesn't? Don't they have the same dad?
2.) Why didn't they set Monica up so they didn't have to give her the money?
3.) Why can't Lucky just mind her own business sometimes?
4.) Mom left on her own free will because of PPD so why was dad paying her monthly? Hush money? Why not just be honest with the Beaumont boys?
Overall great book. Definitely one to recommend.

Small Spoilers!!!!!!!
I have to say, I loved this book! The Other side of Love is the 4 book in the Forever Love series and it is just as good if not better than the other 3. In the first 2 books you find out that Noah (Zane's brother) has died and Zane is set out to find the reason why Noah died and try to put the people that gave Noah the drugs that he took. Zane is working with the FBI to figure it all out which is where he met Lucky. At the end of the second book you find out that Noah isn't really dead and comes back into their lives.
In this story you find out little bits here and there about what Noah went through, what he did, and who he met. He gets kind of like a flashback. I love this because the biggest question out there is what happened with Noah. He talks about someone named Skylar who he loved while hidden away and also about the girl that he loved but who turned out to be a really bad person. It can be a little confusing but at the end everything comes out and you are left feeling like... OOOHHH. lol You also meet a feisty waitress named Robin that Noah is falling for but doesn't want to. He is trying so hard to be with her but can't help it. It's like gravity and he keeps getting pulled back to her. He doesn't want to tell her everything about what happened while he was gone but he does tell her a little. He feels the same way about not telling Zane or Lucky anything either. You do find out some hidden secrets about Zane's past that he didn't know about though.
I really loved this story and can't wait to read the last story in the series about Zane and Lucky's Christmas! A definite MUST read from JS Cooper!!!
