A fantastic quick read. HM Ward gives us a little Christmas treat with a cute second chance encounter romance. This is a great little read that fits in nicely between reads and in HM fashion tucks in just a bit of humor.

I was lucky enough to receive an arc copy of A Little Christmas Romance. As with all of her books, I was not disappointed. This is a sweet love story bringing together two old friends from high school. Brooke was dressed as an elf working in the mall with Santa. She was shocked to hear the voice of the one guy she has secretly loved since high school. She was mortified when he asked for pictures with her. Chris was the guy all the girls loved. She was not going to be just another fling. Read this sweet story to find out what can happen with a little bit of Christmas romance.

Funny, light, and just over 50 pages, it was a super quick read for me!!

She was all bitter and down because of some certain issues (and because she's wearing that atrocious elf costume), but look who saves the day!!



Her major high school crush, Chris!!!! And did I mention, hot, single, and definitely ready to mingle!!!


But Brooke doesn't want just another fling.............and so does Chris


I hoped that their past would have been written down but you know, I still loved this book!!!

Anyway, 5 STARS!!!!!!!!

That was short and sweet. It was well worth the wait!

It was such a nice Christmas story!!! I loved Brooke, her attitude about the girl yet she was so good with everyone. Chris was a hottie and not what I expected!!!

I would say that every genre can read this book. The YA and the Young at heart!

Why not buy 2 copies during the season of giving? One for yourself and for someone else. This will be available for sale tomorrow November 24th and on sale for 99 cents... Get it for that price while You can...

I received an ARC from the author for a fair and honest review.

The book was just okay. Cute very short story. The overall concept would have worked better if this had been a full length novel. I really missed not having their back story to read. I'm left with questions. Why did she have the impression she did of him? Was she gone for four years? Why didn't he try and find her, or did he?

I also wish I could have found a synopsis of this book. I thought it was going to be a Christmas story about the Ferro brothers.

A Little Christmas Romance is a short but sweet Christmas novella.The main characters, Brooke and Chris have amazing personalities and it's what makes the story. From the very beginning it had me in stitches of laughter and by the time I finished it I wanted more, as always. I liked the back story of Chris and the way it ended was perfect.It's an awesome Christmas novella! So I am going to recommend this to everyone I know as it'll put a smile on their faces. It is definitely worth buying!

A super quick read! Lots of humor and sweetness wrapped in a dainty little "package!" Haha! This is a very heartwarming story perfect for the holidays. It really pulls at your heart strings and takes you back to first loves and even grand crushes, but fills the reader with warmth and goodness!

I was lucky enough to get an ARC copy of this great holiday novella full of love and Christmas cheer. Even though Brooke does not like her job she is really good at it, how she interacts with the children is great, she has a way with them. I love how she describes how Santa smells to a child by saying he was working earlier delivering gifts and he smells like that due to coming down chimneys. I love when Chris pays to have his picture taken but not with Santa, but with Brooke. I always like the second chance stories, how the girl secretly loved the boy, and years later they get together only to find out he loved her back then too. Her family is rowdy and fun to read about but reading about her mother and how hard it is for Brooke not having her there for Christmas brought my emotions crashing down. I love how they are joking around, decorating the tree, and reigniting their feelings at his apartment while it snows outside, so romantic. I feel myself holding my breath when the first kiss happens, waiting to see if her biggest fear comes true. I love when he picks her up and spins her around and says “That was the best Christmas present I’ve ever gotten”. It is great reading about her seeing his family after all of this time and her finding out the truth about Chris and what he has been like over these past few years. I was so happy with the ending, it was perfect, I was glad that it didn’t end the way most would have, it was still a very HEA ending but more realistic to what would really happen. Once again, great book by H.M. Ward.

Brooke has had a lot to deal with in her life. When her mother passes away Brooke takes off. Leaving all those she loves behind. When she comes back and runs into an old friend. Life takes a turn she never expected.
Chris has been friends with Brooke for years, in fact he has loved her for years. Just hasn’t told her. But when he comes across her gain he certainly is not going to let her go!
This story had me cracking up. Brooke and her family are Hilarious!! The flirty Aunt chasing Chris omg! I about died laughing!! And the Elf Costume!! That in itself is a laugh fest waiting to happen. (trust me you want to read to find out.. what happens in that elf costume!!)
The main thing I loved about this book is that Christ loved Brooke with his whole heart. Time and distance never diminished that. Neither one wants to give in. Chris doesn’t believe she likes/loves him. And Brooke can’t believe Chris would ever give her the time of day in that aspect. There Is a lot of wanting to give but feeling turned down in this book. It is awesome to read and watch this story play out. It’s like a game of cat and mouse!! Read it to find out if they end up giving in or hold their ground with closed hearts. I think you will enjoy this read!! 5 stars! One of my favorite Christmas Novellas so far this season!!

Christmas by far is my favorite holiday. I think it just makes everything more magical. For Brooke, she needs it. Not only does she have a crappy job as an elf on Christmas but, she has to hang out with her family that night. Which only reminds her of what she is missing...her mom. What Brooke doesn't expect is someone coming back into her life. Someone she cared for...Chris. He shows up while she's at work and wants to take her to dinner. She settles for him going where ever she wants. After a night with her family she takes him home. Where he has a winter wonderland. Complete with a tree and decorations. They are alone and are plagued with feelings. Feelings that Brook hasn't let go of. Can they have a special night? Will Brooke get her man?

This was such a fun little story. I loved the characters. Chris is pretty much one of the best men ever. He is gorgeous, sweet, and fun. He gives Brooke what she needs on this night. Sexual tension is buzzing between them. They have to talk things out! I was like dude, join her in the shower!! Now, that would have solved problems!

The 12 NA's of Christmas have blown my mind so far. This one was awesome and I will be purchasing the rest! It was a quick read and loved it! Novella's are awesome and so is Christmas love stories! Add this one to your collection!!

I have to say I love the way H.M. Ward writes an I am a fan of her work.

I just finish reading this story and I love it, its the perfect short story that you could seat and read on Christmas day, this story is funny, flirty, sexy, romantic, and heart warming, and its about second chances I love it.

Brooke was having a hard time on Christmas day, she was not liking her job at the mall, dress as an elf and helping kids to take picture with Santa Clause, she was not expecting to run into Chris her long time friend who she has not seen in four years, Chris waited in line for three hours to get his picture taking, not with Santa but with the sexy elf that is Brooke, after taking the picture with Brooke, what she did not expected to was for Chris to spill out how he really feels about her.

I love the way this story turned out to be, and I hope that once you read it that you get to enjoy it and love it as much as I did.

Wow H.M. Ward has done it again I have to say that A Little Christmas Romance is definitely the perfect combination of innocence and Christmas magic. The characters are completely adorable and their story so amazingly believable.

I loved how it wasn’t all about the bow chic a wow wow. Honestly a lot of NA has gobs of sexy time and it’s definitely amazing to see H.M. Ward after all of her hot and sexy series she has going on right now tone the steam level down.

The characters rocked and honestly how could they not? They were dressed up as elves and Santa Claus most of the story doing holiday cheer. So fantastic.


Pick up A Little Christmas Romance to warm you up this Christmas! Believe you me it’s so worth it. I mean come on look at the cover! Lickable!

I received an advance copy of this story from the author in exchange for an honest review. I can definitely say that I am not surprised to have truly enjoyed reading this book. Holly always has great books and this one does not fall short of my expectations at all. It is a very cute story of two hearts coming together after a long time apart. The story is perfect for the season, funny, loving, and warm. I read through it quite quickly but will read again just to enjoy the story once or twice more before Christmas. The story is well written and flows really well. I cannot wait to read more of Holly's great stories.

Amazing story of love, loss, and the miracle that is Christmas.

H.M. Ward does it again by sucking you in and keeping your attention from the very beginning. It had me hooked, I wanted more, it could have easily been a longer book, but this was perfect. I loved that Brooke and Chris playfully bantered with each other. There's a hot cocoa scene that is very sexy. I absolutely loved this book!!!

This was a quirky fun little book, my only wish is that it was bigger.

I think I read it in under an hour.

It would have also given me the chance to get to know the characters more. I enjoyed what I did see of Brooke and Chris. I also happened to think the little I saw of Brooke's family was hilarious.

Another delightful story from HM Ward! With just a few words, the author once again paints a picture for us that we will not soon forget. I loved how these two characters meet after a hiatus of a few years at the mall. This is brilliant! She is dressed as a Sexy Elf helping Santa and he is stopped dead in his tracks during his last minute hunt for presents.

You will have to read this story to find out what happens next. Just know, you will laugh, cry and walk away with the Spirit of Christmas!

This is a Fabulous quick read.
Everything I have read by author H.M. Ward has been Fantastic & "A Little Christmas Romance" is no exception. I love Brooke's time as an Elf. I have the feeling being an Elf goes against all that she is but deep down she loves it. When her past comes crashing back into her life she soon realizes that things in the past might not have been what she thought they were. Christmas really is a magical time and for Brooke & Chris it's a new beginning.

I was given an ARC in exchange for a review. I thought this was such sweet story. Brooke has returned to her hometown for Christmas. She hasn't been back since her mother's death. While working as an Elf at the mall she bumps into her old friend Chris. There is instant chemistry. Over the course of the 24 hrs Brooke realizes that it's ok to let her walls down and to be happy again. Really enjoyed this one

Holy Super Short Christmas Reads!

H.M. Ward knows how to draw you into a book, but I feel like this one was too short for me to fall in-love with the characters. I wanted more of Chris and Brooke, I wanted to see more of their HEA.

This story is about Brooke , employed as Santas elf in the mall by chance runs into a former crush Chris. He wants her , she wants him but won't admit to it. She's faced loss in her life and decides that there is nothing worth the risk of getting close then loosing in the end. As always HM Ward is top notch. She knows what her readers love. 5 Stars.
