You were with Willow and Jagger when they found their happily ever after in Dark Endings. You felt their love. You felt their relief, but what you didn't feel, was the pain they left tucked inside.

Jagger killed his own father, he suffered on an island alone being forced to fight to save his life. Now, the memories are catching up on him. The reality is haunting him. He's becoming numb. He's struggling to move on.

Willow has to do what she can to help her husband, no matter what the cost. She has to be the fighter now, she has to be the one to get him through, even if it's gritty, even if it hurts, because that's what love is.

Come on this final journey between the two, and watch how they piece their lives back together for a final time.

I am speechless..and that never happens..this book blew me away..full review to follow..

5 +++ IS THIS REALLY THE END STARS

Blown away..this book took my heart and squeezed the ever loving shit out of it and then slowly, painfully started releasing the squeeze and letting it take form again. My heart is now back to it's beating self..while my mind has to figure out that this love story is really over and be okay with that..

[image error] photo 4660394-a-heartbroken-shattered-red-valentine-heart-symbol-of-love-broken-to-pieces_zpsa93f9b45.jpg

This book opens with a note from the author, in this you get an explanation of the reason behind there being a book four. When you end at book three it really does leave you thinking this is their HEA. Ms. Botefuhr decided to write this story one for her fans (thank you) and two for a more personal reason. From reading this personal insight it would seem she too was a victim of a deep dark depression and through the love of others and hard work, lived to see lightness again.. This personal observation meant a lot to me and set the pace for what I was getting myself into by reading this book. I can't say enough about what the note meant to me and I am sure to many others who know what darkness looks like..

"Darkness, you never truly understand the full meaning of it until it consumes you. It's just a word, it's just a place you hope you never have to go. Once it takes you, it's not something you can be freed of easily." Jagger

At the end of Dark Endings all is open roads and happy thoughts but after real life slows and Jagger is hit with the facts of what he did. Life becomes as far from happy and easy as it could ever be. He is nothing, he feels nothing, he just exists. Willow has watched it happen from the sidelines, not wanting to push him too much, afraid the push will send him away from her forever. They don't sleep in the same bed, they haven't had sex in months..WAIT WTF?? yes months and not even his children bring him joy or even a smile. Willow has always been a fighter but she doesn't know if she can fight the darkness that completely has enveloped him.

[image error] photo n546w22883_zpsce4dfca1.jpg

A plan is hatched, a woman fights for the love of her life and still nothing. No life is left in the eyes of her beloved. Not ever wanting to quit on her soul mate and father of her children, Willow's passion leads the brotherhood to find Jagger again! When she leads the brigade she has the stamina of a warrior but after every dead end and wall she hits..she starts to break piece by piece..watching Willow struggle to maintain was almost as hard or harder than the darkness that enveloped Jagger. Knowing that the love they felt was real, you are championing for her to invade the walls and bring back the REAL man behind the facade that is in front of her..

 photo heartbroken-by-a-son-of-a-beach-jason-blalock_zps8968acf8.jpg

"I'll do whatever it takes. No matter what. I will fix us." Willow

A visit from a face from Jagger's past is what it takes to start his healing. But this is not a welcomed thing for Willow, in fact it is the opposite. As Jagger starts to see light..Willow is done! Done with fighting and done with competing with a past that she can't change and can't unsee. The past that they both share but that Jagger doesn't want to taint Willow's perception of him. It is a maze of misunderstandings and feelings that at some points seems won't ever be won..

[image error] photo light-in-darkness_zpsd4fc0ec1.jpg

This is the final chapter and the past is settled on when Jagger's heart remembers why he loves his family more than his own life..I loved this series, loved the realness of the darkness that encompassed Jagger and the honest approach the author took to bring this journey to a full close. I look forward to the story of Ace..the friendship that he and Willow formed was a shining light in this dark story as well..

I was lucky enough to get a pre release copy of Dark Destiny in exchange for an honest review.

I went into this book with the understanding the series had already ended however due to fan demands this book was written. I have to say I wasn't sure what to expect, I personally was happy with where the series finished. Willow and Jagger had their happily ever after. However after reading DD I'm completely blown away.
There are only 3 words I'm left with to describe this book, RAW REAL AND GRIPPING.
Bec Botefuhr had outdone herself this time round, capturing real life emotions and playing it out for readers to feel.

“It was real the day I laid eyes on you, Willow, it’s just along the way it got a little cloudy. Sun’s up now darlin’ and while I can’t promise there’ll be no more clouds, I can promise I’ll always fight for you, I can promise I’ll always have your back, and most of all, I can promise I’ll always love you”

I love Bec, have I mentioned that in my other reviews of her books?? lol

She is great, this book picks up after the Island in Dark Endings. It is angsty and it hurts, it hurts so much to read the pain these characters are going through, but it was amazing..

I am a sucker for the heart wrenching angst and pain in my books. This was perfect. We get a HEA in the end, which I knew going in from Bec's FB page, but the ride was amazing and worth it!

“Darkness, you never truly understand the full meaning of it until it consumes you. It’s just a word, it’s just a place you hope you never have to go.”

This book started with one of the most touching, powerful prologues ever and I was immediately taken over with emotions. I was ready for this book I knew it was going to be dark, I knew it was going to be real but I wasn’t prepared for the way I would react to Jagger’s pain. I thought I had my perfect happy ever after when the series ended before but this was more. This gave a new meaning to a HEA.

“The pain I feel inside is so…well it’s… awful. I can’t even describe that gut wrenching, soul crashing pain that’s inside right now."

This was a pure, raw vision of the pain that Jagger was left with after his island experience and what killing his father truly did to him. But what really grabbed me in this story was Willows love for Jagger. She was so strong, so intense and so open you literally could not help but cry for her and with her.

“That’s what love’s about. It’s about the good, the bad, beautiful, ugly and everything in between. No one ever gets married honestly believing it will all be for the better, hell, there’s a reason the vows add in worse too. Because no one’s life is always on the better side, we all have our fair share of worse.”

Bec Botefuhr seriously out did herself with this book and what she makes you feel with her writing is so powerful that she has left me completely speechless. Oh she also left me wanting Ace’s story something fierce.

“Keep your nozzle in your pants Ace, don’t play with two women. Make a choice, or move on.”

“Got you. Later kid.”

“Laters.”

Well F***. This just keeps getting better and better.

Honest to god that’s Bec’s writing it just keeps getting better and better.

*** Contains spoilers for Books 1-3 of this series, do not read review if you have not read them***

Dark Destiny was so unexpected. Willow and Jagger’s story was complete to me with their happily ever after in Dark Endings. But due to the fans request Bec decided to continue their story with one more book and all I can say is WOW. Jagger and Willow are two of my favorite characters and this series is a definite favorite of mine. They are dirty, and real, sexy and hot and show so much emotion to each other you cannot help but love them. Dark Destiny is not pretty, it is in your face and filled with raw emotion. Jagger is not handling his time on the island and the fact that he killed his father even though his father was a total Monster and got everything he deserved. Willows strength in this book was phenomenal. She stood by her man and fought for their relationship. I am so glad that Bec decided to write this book and I know that in the beginning that she talks about a personal connection to Jagger’s actions and responses to his trauma and I can only say thank you for putting those emotions and feelings into this. Life is not always pretty and we don’t always react to things like society says we should and I feel that Bec deserves major kudos for putting this out there. This was the ending Willow and Jagger definitely needed and I now know their story is complete. I cannot wait to read the other guys stories and I cannot tell you how much I love this group of characters.

Darkness, you never truly understand the full meaning of it until it consumes you. It's just a word, it's just a place you hope you never have to go.

Dark Destiny starts after Willow and Jagger's second child is born. Everything seems to be going well until Jagger withdraws, pushes Willow away. He's hurting, he's in a deep depression after dealing with the fallout of his actions on the Island. He was betrayed by his own family, Aunt Mary. He no longer has a passion for anything, not his brothers not his children and most importantly not his wife.

Willow needs to bring him back from the brink but will it work? Will she hurt herself further with his need to distance himself away from those he once loved?

Okay I LOVED Ace!! He's right up there with Jagger for me! His friendship with Willow is just wonderful and he has a heart of gold, he really doesn't deserve the treatment that jenny is putting him through.
Looking forward to Ace's book!

I fucking love you with everything I am. I was blocked off emotionally, I couldn't feel a damn thing, but in the past few days, I am starting to feel it.

Another hit! Bec does it again! Keep some tissues near by, you will need them. You can feel the emotions with this story. The love that Willow and Jagger share is beautiful. The fight that they have to keep each other is one everyone who is in love should have. To go the distance. To stay strong when the going is tough. To take their marriage vows seriesous, in good times and in bad. Its easier to give up then to fight for love. True love.

Willow shows her sttrenghts in this book. Never gives up and fights to the end for her man.

I had a great Sunday reading this whole series. I went to be at 4am just because I couldn’t put it down.
This series is the MOTHER of all drama. Lord! Nonetheless, I was hooked from the moment I’ve read the synopsis. I wanted to read another motorcycle club story, and I got this book from the drop down list. Good thing because, the story was really good. Bad for my bank account since I have bought all books, and they are not cheap. Anyways, I do not regret at all.
Book one, was awesome. I was in love with Jagger from the get go. What can I say; I melt for bad ass, tough guys with a big heart. This is the best off the whole series. Not too angstsy, but not too soft either. Willow is introduce right there as a smart mouth, strong, family-friend oriented, not shy at all and with a lot of guts with a loved. The rest of the characters, well, they really felt in the right place.
Book two, I was really excited. It kind of had that dark and twisted vibe, but it didn’t get quite there. It was a rollercoaster and definitely, a good continuation of the story.
Book three, it has a lot of twist and turns and although predictable, I wanted to get to the end and see what was going too happened.
Book four, it is completely different…where books 1, 2, 3 where dealing with bad guys, and crazy women, and some other shenanigans…this one is a whole different situation. Dealing with the outcome, with the sorrow, pain and psych! To me it was the least strong of them all; however, it was the most emotional.
The reason that I did not give this series 5 stars, it is because first, it has a lot of grammatical errors; second, it has some down-time, I found myself jumping to some paragraphs. And three, there were some instances that I couldn’t understand what was happening because, the scene jumped from one place to another, or from one thing to another and to me, it was not clearly elaborated or explained.
Overall, it was a good series, good characters. I suggest you buy them all together, finish one and keep reading the next. I will definitely looking forward for “DARK LUST” ACE’s story.

This was a powerful read, it touches a subject that a lot of people do not understand unless they themselves have gone through darkness in any form or way. It touched me as I have experienced the darkness and reading the opening words by the author it evoked a deep sensation to know that there are people who truly understand.

Darkness, you never truly understand the full meaning of it until it consumes you. It's just a word, it's just a place you hope you never have to go. Once it takes you, it's not something you can be freed of easily.

I loved reading this series Jagger and his gang, Willow and her girls. After the last book I thought they had reached a happy ever after. I was pleasantly surprised by this book it is about how Jagger is affected emotional and deeply after leaving the island remembering doing and seeing all the things he had. But it's not just him who suffers its all the people around him that suffer too. Willow is lost as to how does she get her husband back from the darkness how does she fight this. But Willow is a strong character she will do whatever it takes to fight for him I absolutely loved her.

I'll do whatever it takes no matter what I will fix us.

The relationship between all the characters is truly amazing friendship and love there is so much to this book it's not light and fluffy its filled with raw soul deep emotions, but there is hope and always light at the end of the tunnel and a wonderful just deserved ending. Looking forward to Ace's book.

Thank you Bec for writing this wonderful book, life is not always a walk in the park, its hard work but with the right love and friendships it can be beautiful journey.

Check out my full 5 star review here
http://trinastantilisingtidbits.blogs...

Full on action is what these book offer in the Dark Brothers series, and we wouldn't want it any other way.

Jagger or his real name Johnny Black, meets up with Willow and the attraction has never wavered, it just went off course slightly for a short while.
Jagger has a lot of shit going on in his head, due to what his father made him do previously, and he expects everyone to abandon him, and cannot understand why they are not, but they show him just how wrong he is by sticking it out and showing him they want the old Jagger back and they will do anything to achieve it even if it means going right back to the beginning.

Willow loves Jagger with a passion that she has never before felt, he is the air she breathes, the sun to her moon, but the Jagger she has been given back after the island trip is nothing more foreign to her than speaking a different language, he has grown so distant , to her , their children to his mates and everyone he knows, he exists that's all, Willow has no idea how to bring him back, the hurt she feels towards him is so painful she can barely stand to be near him, but through it all he still can ignite the fire in her, and if she can just convince him to come back to her, it will be there once again.

Sparks fly throughout this book, and in true Bec style she represents each character well, and it is a total un put down able book.

Ohhh my god this was freaking awesome!!!

Unfortunately its the end of Willo and Jagger...

well its the last book...

So many shit going down you don't know where to look and what to do...
I finished the book in few hours not being able to stop reading and wow.....just wow!!!

Jagger is totally fucked up and Willow and the gang are trying hard to fix him unable though to manage it they come up with something that might help him...or finish him off...

Jagger cares for nothing and noone all wrapped up in his own shit while it seems that everyone else is raining on his parade.

Willow is so frustrated and hurt and alone...only the gang her kids and her love for him is holding her up and even those seem to falter at times.

Ace and the gang torn between their Boss and the need to protect willow.

Emotions flowing, cursing pooring down as rain and steamy angry sex...

Its our Jagger and Willow!!!

and Damn.......

it was awesome reading!!!

Great series! Jagger is just wow! Loved every book.

Nothing beats spending time with Jagger. I have to admit, my boy stressed me out a little at the beginning, but I never doubted his love for Willow or their family for a minute. Jagger is WOW!! He will always hold a special place in my heart for perfect, sexy, hot and dreamy book boyfriends. I'm not going to give any spoilers, just know that Willow is as strong and determined as ever; and Jagger is Jagger.. just perfect! Bec hit a homerun when she shared Willow, Jagger, and all of the other guys with us. This is a special group of men, and they each pull my heart strings.

I've always loved Ace, so I can't wait to read his book next.

Another great book by a truly talented and great author. Keep up with the great job! You're amazing.

Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow. Is all I can say. This series of books are the best. I come across them by chance on Amazon and took a risk and so glad I did. The idea from the beginning was amazing, they are brilliantly written, switching from Willows pov and Jagger's pov. There are hot scenes and so much drama. This book had so much heartache. I felt for Willow, I found myself screaming at my kindle telling Willow to leave Jagger even though I love Jagger. Then when I read Jagger's pov I felt for him. Willow is a strong woman, with everything she has been through and she still fights. I'm so glad she found a friend in Ace. Although there are a few unfinished business with Ace, Maggie and Jenny, I can't wait for the next books connecting the 'Dark Brothers' series.

I am really glad a fourth book was made!! Made me smile. I went on a reading bender with this series and lost a lot of sleep. I love how Bec really went for the aftermath of what life would be like after Jagger killed his dad. I loved the emotions, the heartache, the distant behavior, and the love that Jagger and Willow went through. Willow really love her some Jagger and she refused to give up on him, and Jagger really put Willow through hell and at one point I really started to hate the dude. Granted I though Willow put the kids in danger a lot but at the same time I knew she was scrapping to help Jagger. Love this entire series!

We finally get the "real" HEA for Jagger and Willow. Though the last book was supposed to be their HEA I feel like this book was needed to tie up their loose ends. I liked this one but didn't love it, which is pretty much how I feel about the whole series. I liked visiting back to all the characters though because I really grew to love them through out the series.

This series isn't a "HOLY CRAP I LOVE IT" seris for me, but it was a series that I did enjoy. I don't see myslef ever re-reading these again but I am glad I got to meet Jagger and was introduced to his world. I enjoy Bec Botefuhr's stories and can't wait to see how her spin-off series will be.

I was happy with the way the "Dark Endings" came to a close, but was really happy to hear Bec was writing one more in the series. This Book showed us Jaggers pain and struggles from his time on the island. It lets us see the strength Willow has come to find and how hard she is will to fight for Jagger, to try and help him heal. A lot of very emotionally charged scenes, the book over all is an emotional roller coaster, and I loved every minute of it!
Bec did a great job of putting the beginnings of Aces story as well. Not giving to much away on what his book will be, but it is a nice lead in to what he'll be facing...cannot wait for his book to come out!

4.5 stars. A great last book to finish Jagger and Willow's story. I loved the "Dark" series by Ms. Botefuhr and didn't really think it really needed a 4th book. But after reading "Dark Destiny" I'm so glad we got this part of the story. It was emotionally heartbreaking watching Willow see her husband sink into nothingness after all the traumatic things that had happened to him. She and his band of brothers came together to save him. Willow was so strong and loved him so much. A great big thank you to Ms. Botefuhr for this book and for the series.
