Gabriela Cabezut is a Mexican author who has been inclined to write ever since she was little. Being a creative person has always been one of her major traits.
When she was a child, she used to type short stories for her family and friends.
Then, she created and directed a school newspaper for her Elementary School.
Reading has always been an important part of her life. Distinctively, she loves to read in English. Therefore, after being a silent reader for most of her life, she started to write romance stories on a writer’s community website, where she has succeeded by having thousands of readers from around the globe reading her stories.
She manages her time between her family and friends, as well as her own cake-decorating business and as of lately, writing romance stories.
Prince with Benefits has been published under Pop Fiction Books
Hopelessly Imperfect (Book 1 on the Imperfect Series) will come out this May under Limitless Publishing
Okay, so I might be just a liiiitttle bit bias because I know the author, but I definitely enjoyed reading this one! Romance isn't my normal genre so I dove in a little cautious but genuinely enjoyed Prince with Benefits! The characters are great, the dialogue is fantastic, and I felt it was very realistic. I also really dug the Princess Diana vibes I got from it. Nice one Gaby!
Well I actually read this on Wattpad, and it did draw me in, but that's about all I can say about it without being unkind. (here's how I'm leaving the review, after cutting out some choice venom:) The idea is not original, nor is it done in an original way. It's quite cliche, but I knew that going in. I understand that the version posted on Wattpad was unedited and I think that the author's first language is not English, but still, the writing was terrible. Also, there were big flaws in the plot/development. A single conversation would happen and suddenly it would be twelve hours later. The British characters sounded completely false, there was essentially no reason to have them be British other than there is a monarchy in that country. Scott = chocolate, I don't think there was a single reference to him without that word as his description. Also, there was insta-love on both sides.
A quick glance at the preview on Amazon looks like the story has undergone some spelling and grammar work and possibly a bit of editing as well, which I think could only help.
I liked it. It just seems like a normal type of romance with a prince if you can imagine it in your head. Unusual first meeting, dating in secrets from world...well all good in end.
this book was really cute and I like that it wasn't the usual wattpad book the "I'm the good girl in high school and I don't love the bad boy but I really do" type.
I LOVED SEAN, i wish that we'd seen more of him but I liked that he was portrayed like a human being instead of a robot with no life, it's my experience that they usually are portrayed like the second option.
By far, one of the best romance novels I have read. Waiting for 'A Princessly Connection' which is a sequel to this one. Gabriela is an amazing author and I am glad that she has risen to popularity.
this book told us about a broken hearted girl come to England where her mom is. She got cheated by her soon to be husband with her bestfriend. There, she met Scott--prince of England--and they fall in love. Their love is not the easy story or happy story to be through, there are a lot of struggles, a lot pf ups and downs.
It is cliché story I think, for the general plot. But, if you read it, the story is interesting (even tho I got bored in the middle). I dont know, I just cant make this awesome story, because its kinda boring sometimes.
Emily just like a always panic person, and it is annoying!! SERIOUSLY, CAN YOU JUST ONE MOMENT NOT BEING SOOO PANIC?! BUT..... Scott is so lovely<3 so I am being neutral then hehehehehhehehe
Afterall, I just comment Emily action. Because almost all the story about Emily huh.
AND THE END OF STORY, I LIKE IT. The writer tells until they have their happy life<3333 I love when the book tells until their grandson story or etc lol. I am kind of curious person haha.
This story could be cliche if read it by now. Well, this was written years ago and I like the concept and how the story was written. I liked how Emily met Prince Scott after her heartbreak caused by her asshole fiance. And I liked how the romance going on between Emily and the prince. Not much conflict. Of course there's a little conflict but you have to find it through reading this story. This is a royal romance-inspired story. And while reading through this story, I couldn't help but think of Prince William and Kate. Maybe it has something to do with the feels of the story that made me think of that Will and Kate's tale. And since, of course, it involves a prince as the hero and a commoner as the heroine which is similar to Kate and Will's romance.
I have read this on Wattpad and I wasn't able to finish it because it took longer to update the chapters, so I just waited for it to finish. Now after 2 or 3 years I was finally able to read the entire novel.
I must say that it's an easy read. Not much conflict except for psycho ex-boyfriend and the ever-present paparazzi that plagues every celebrity or royalty. I have read a few novels with the same plotline, so this isn't exactly extraordinary. But the author could use a good editor to help her out with some of the sentence construction or even the plot twists to make it more interesting.
Another prince falls for normal girl that has a strong resemblance to the Will and Kate story. Which I'm a sucker for. And this one was fun to read. The biggest problem for me was the grammar and errors in the unedited Wattpad version. But it's a testament to the story that I didn't stop right away as I will do on Wattpad when the errors are too frequent and too many to comment on effectively. I wasn't sure about Mark and how some of the character's personalities were portrayed as they were kind of superficial and ever-changing.
Well, it started very very good. after 10 pages I was hooked. BUT... that popping the p after every single nope, yep etc. and those CHOCHOLATE eyes, were just to much for me. After first 50 times we got it, he has chocholate eyes and she rolls her eyes and talks aloud when she is thinking. I think story has a good plot but those "little" things are bad, you need to yhange them
The first few chapters were alright. After halfway through the book, though, some parts just got really boring I almost gave up on reading the book. The ending was predictable with a touch of what would be expected to see out of a Korean drama. Oh, well.
On a scale of the commonwealth to the Queen of England this book was a dashing Prince.
As part of the commonwealth I've always loved books featuring royalty. Basically anything which makes me feel more like the Princess I am. This book really did that for me and I got emotionally attached to Scott and Emily. While the plot was totally unrealistic I loved it regardless. Who doesn't want a charming Prince to sweep them off their feet and into the sunset? I'll be honest, Gabriela's writing could use some work but the characters were well developed and I was so into the plot I barely noticed the minor grammatical errors.
Get ready for some major cheese...I recommend this book to any handsome man or beautiful girl waiting for a Prince to waltz into their life and make them feel how special they truly are.
CHARACTERS: Emily had her heart broken twice by her ex-fiancee and her mother (when she still doesn't know the truth). Scott is a prince who wanted a lone time for himself because he still haven't accepted the fact that her mom is dead because of her father. Hugh is the best friend you'd wish you had because no matter what happens, he'll be there for you and will never leave your side. He'll be the one to wake you up to the reality you should be existing and Mark even though he hides himself on a bad guy personality, deep inside he cares for his older brother so much.
PLOT: Emily was hurt when she discovered that his fiancee and step sister was having an affair. In order to forget, she flies to he country where her mom lives even though she haven't forgiven her for leaving three years ago. Then she met this mystery guy that doesn't talk to anyone until she came to that town. They kept each others company until they developed feelings for each other. But that mystery guy was a prince! So Emily would have to adjust her life because he's dating the Prince. Many fake issues spread because that what the people read on every social and printed media. In order to survive this relationship, they needed to trust each other, but these issues became a greater deal on their relationship and the worst got them...
Emily had a difficult life, being left by her mom and seeing her step sister and ex fiance had sex and been fooled by his father... But she is strong enough to build back her life and move on to the better things, which should be every people should do after being broken or being hurt. It may takes time, just like Emily, she didn't move on quickly but with the help of Scott, she managed to forgive her Mom, and forget the bad memory she had of Sam and Sonya. Scott, as a Prince, wanted someone who would love him as him and not because of his title and that's when she found Emily. They didn't instantly clicked but they managed to be in each other's life instantly. They had a common factor: their problem with parents. They helped each other to fix it. And even though they don't always agree on some things, they are still the one for each other.
And I really love the last part of their story, saying those three words, eight letters after everything they had been through. <3
