It was supposed to be a week of simply being, of living in the moment and enjoying every minute while it lasted. Of course, that kind of intoxication can have lingering effects.
For Sin, she finds herself wanting to break all the rules, to extend her time with the stranger who stole her heart. Vegas is just the right kind of place to take such a gamble.
Meeting up with BE at the gondolas is a risk. Love goes against everything they'd promised one another. But the best things in life can’t be planned. Soon Alysin will be tested. After guarding her heart for so long, she finally lets a man in and discovers that the worst things in life happen when she least expects them.
When she walks in on BE with another woman and overhears their heated conversation, she suddenly remembers there is a reason she made these rules.
Will broken rules lead to broken hearts?
Or will she realize that though love is a gamble — she's all in?
How else was she going to parlay her two favorite past times into a career?
Emma is single and loving it. Like her first character, Alysin, Sin for short, she doesn't believe in settling or in settling down. She loves to indulge in her passions whenever the mood strikes and enjoys keeping all of life's cliche moments spicy.
Known for her sense of humor, Emma surrounds herself with friends whose antics often become the source of book fodder. Her ideal situation would be to explore the Caribbean while writing. She pursues that dream daily.
Vixen in Vegas picks up where Sin at Sea finished. Sin and Jolie are packing up and about to head off to Vegas to meet up with BE. Sin of course freaks out a little, but Jolie calms her nerves.
After Sin and BE are reunited there relationship continues, and it's full steam ahead! BE decides that he wants to renegotiate the terms of their "agreement" and wants them to get to know each other. And they do.
Sin realises that she is breaking all her "rules", and that she has fallen hopelessly in love with BE. Jolie tells her that it is time to settle down, and is there to push Sin in the right direction whenever she has doubts. And Sin does have doubts. Not about her relationship with BE, but about herself. She questions whether she is strong enough to stick at the relationship with BE.
I really enjoy Emma Nichols' writing style. Her words flow flawlessly making it extremely easy to connect with the characters and get drawn into the story. The sex scenes are HOT, but tastefully written.
Vixen in Vegas wasn't exactly what I was expecting. I honestly thought that it would be a lot more "erotic", but I found it to be more romantic. I was very pleasantly surprised!
If you have read Sin at Sea, you definitely need to continue the story and read this. I guarantee that you won't be disappointed.
Oh boy this story was great! I liked "Sin at Sea". Almost thought it was too perfect. Mr. BE was pretty much perfection. Almost reminded me of the love story aspect in Titanic. How two people meet on a ship & fall in love. I think the love between Ben & Alysin was just beautiful. I feel like they were just what each other needed in their lives. I loved seeing Alysin grow & push herself in ways she hadn't ever done before. Ben made her step out of her comfort zone. And in turn I think she was just what he needed to survive. In a way she helped save him.
But alas….if something seems to good to be true? It usually is. I think this book was even better than Sin at Sea. Loads better. This one has so much more depth & layers to it that I wasn't even expecting. It took a dive in the deep heavy emotional direction. And i loved it!
It definitely had some twists that I didn't see coming. And that made it unpredictable which I love. I like a story that's gonna keep you on your toes & yet bring reactions out of you. And Jolie was such a great friend always being loyal & there for her. Yet giving her a kick in the ass along the way whenever needed lol
I think its impressive how the author pulled off a HEA. By 90% i started getting nervous and thinking okay is there a book 3? Or is this going to be a tragic ending?
In a way there was a tragic ending in the end concerning Ben's sister Brenda :( It was tragically ironic but in turn it helped save Ben's life and now he'll be able to be there to enjoy his life with Alysin & to watch their children grow. Epilogue was perfect! 5 stars.
before you read VIXEN IN VEGAS - please read Sin at Sea - it's the prologue-novella!
5 Stars

My Opinion:
I loved it!
I had just finished the first book in the series and I sooo wanted to know what will happen to Sin and her good-looking stranger.
In SIN AT SEA - Alysin and her best friend Jolie go on a carribbean cruise to have a little quiet time to decide where their lives should take them next. That's where Sin and Mr. BE meet for the first time - they spend a very sexy week together, pretending to be married - without telling each other their names and life stories! But at the end of the week - they have fallen in love for real and they promise to meet again in Las Vegas - a week from now.
That's exactly where book 2 starts - with Aylsin and Jolie driving home to North Carolina from the cruise ship. After cleaning their apartments, renting them out and packing up their belongings they decide to drive to Las Vegas. In those few days that Sin is at home - she has lots of doubts ...are they really doing the right thing? Will Mr. BE end up being just another jerk who will leave her?
But a phone call from Mr. Be calms her down - and now she can't wait to leave!
What she didn't know is that Jolie was talking to Mr. Be behind Sin's back to organize a few surprises!
When the girls arrive at the Venetian Hotel - they even end up in the Penthouse!
And then the time comes to see HIM again!
and that's also the time where I stop telling you any more about the story ☺ I don't want to spoil anything!
Let's just say there will be very romantic and erotic moments!
We'll take a helicopter into the canyons
We'll visit a Winery in California.
We will CRY a lot!! Well, I cried a lot ☺
It was really a wonderful book. I expected something completely different though. The Cover picture and the previous book in the series led me to believe it would be just another sexy-in-vegas romance. But it was sooo much more. It was sexy, yes - but it was also SAD and heart-stoppingly MOVING! It totally surprised me. Maybe the cover pic should be changed. (that lady looks like a Las Vegas burlesque stripper - and that's soo not the message in this book!)
The only things that bothered me - the sex scenes could've been a bit longer ;) and the author uses SO and SEE soooo often at the beginning of a sentence - I guess it's her local accent - but it got on my nerves!
I can't tell you any more about why I loved it so much - it would spoil everything - let's just say, once you're in the middle of the book (47% or so) you won't be able to stop reading!☺
WILL THERE BE A HAPPY END??? ☺ OR WILL THEY ALL DIE AT THE END??? I'M NOT TELLING! GO AND BUY THE BOOK!
oh and if you loved the whole crying-while-reading thing - you should read Me Before You by Jojo Moyes - it's a bit different than this one - with a few similarities though - but you will really C.R.Y.
I first have to say if you have not read Sin at Sea... STOP!!! Go get Sin at Sea and the comeback. I don't want to spoil it for you and you should really go read it! Continue reading at your own risk because this will contain spoilers from Sin at Sea... . . . . . .
With that we pick up right where Sin at Sea stops. Sin and Mr BE has decided to meet one week later in Vegas. They still don't know each other’s name but have fallen head over heels in love with each other. Sin and Jolie go back home and back up and start their cross country drive to Las Vegas to start fresh. Sin cannot wait to see Mr BE and his nervous that maybe he won't show up. We quickly learn that MR BE is Ben Everly and owns a winery with his sister. They are in Vegas for only a few days when Ben conveniences Sin to visit his winery in California.
When they get to California things quickly change for them. She walks in on Ben and his sister having a heated discussion and Sin over hears them speaking and learns that Ben had been hiding something from her. So Sin does what she always does. She runs. With some convincing from Jolie, she doesn’t get very far and returns to Ben only to find that what he was hiding is worse that she could ever imagine. While together Sin and Ben discover a great love for each other they have never had with anyone else. They make each whole. They both find peace that either one have ever had.
Will Ben's secret push Sin away for good, will it be too much for her to handle? Will she follow her pattern and not let anyone in? Or will Sin finally decide to grow up and accept to let someone in and love her the way she deserved to be loved. You need to get the book to find out!
With that I do take my hat off to Ms Nichols. This is such an amazing story of love and struggle. Where Sin at Sea has a fun smexy read filed with lots of sex and fun, Vixen in Vegas is so much more! It really has it all. It has your hot sexy parts, the parts that make your heart melt, and the parts that just turn you into mush! It had me turning the pages and wanting more of Ben and Sin on their journey of love. They may not have the conventional love story that we read about but it’s one that will make you fall in love with them both! I so did not expect the ending and had me holding my breath until the final page! With that, I loved every minute of it! I so give Vixen in Vegas 5 outstanding stars!! It’s a must read for sure!
Some of my favorite quotes from the book:
“I wanted to be happy… blissful, glowing happy. I was ready to be in love… with him.
“Sin, I am going to make sure you never want to be away from me again. I’m going to take you hard and fast, leave you breathless and fulfilled. Then I’m going to take you again” OH YAH!! THAT’S HOT!!!
“I want it all with you, Sin. I want to possibility of forever wrapped in a hundred million moments. I want us”
“He was the one who offered me a future that I never imagined living and a love that I can’t live without”
With Vixen in Vegas Emma wrote a great sequel to Sin at Sea; even though it wasn’t as steamy as Sin at Sea, Vixen in Vegas gave me so much more while reading it. It touched every base in my body and soul. I laughed, aawed, and cried –yes I sobbed like a baby. Seriously Emma, I didn’t see that coming and I was a total mess. You cannot mess…. No not with him…and then, really, adding Bon Jovie with (You Want to) Make a Memory to this whole situation,it was the most fitting song ever, but it crushed me completely. And of course, silly ol’ me had to put it on while reading…BIG MISTAKE, let the waterfall begin. Gosh this part of the story broke my lil heart. For a novella it was beautifully written and it didn’t miss on anything. Until the end I didn’t fully know how it would end, and trust me I begged to let it have a HEA, and it drove me crazy to not know. The last 40pages of this book will really tear you up, I was so so sad and was yelling (in my mind) at Emma why she put my poor heart through something like this!
In ViV Mr Bedroom eyes got finally a name; Ben. Ben is the most beautiful man from the inside and outside I've ever came across. I refuse to call him hot or any other names because his actions, his words, aaah just everything he said and did for Alysin were the most beautiful things ever. He taught her so much, helped open her eyes, but furthermore, she made him fight, she completed him. She wouldn’t want to run and take off… Ben found his perfect match with Sin.
I would go anywhere, everywhere, just to be with you…
Alysin (Sin) was in ViV a much deeper character and I enjoyed her, I really did. She opened up, changed her bad habits and fought for her own happiness. She surprised me with her actions, but also warmed my heart how love can change someone; changing them into a passionate and caring person. I was happy for her, happy she found love in such a special person like Ben.
He made me want things I had never wanted… like permanence.
Jolie was like in Sin at Sea the best BBF a girl can wish for. She was a solid rock; equally for Sin and Ben. She was supportive but also called Sin out on her bullshit. She always kept a clear mind to help Sin making the right choice, or even push her into the right direction. I loved this side character a lot and she rounded up this story perfectly and her humor matched often my own.
This guy, BE, he’s not a flavor of the month. BE is the spice of life.
I can only recommend Emma’s series cause Sin at Sea has spice in it which makes your pulse race, your heart beat and thighs hot… While Vixen in Vegas dives deeper into the characters personality and explores their history; it touches your heart but also offers plenty of hotness. And nope I won’t tell you how it end, all I say it has NO CLIFFHANGER and it’ll make your heart melt. Overall, thumbs up- great sequel!

Where to begin???? Well, 'Vixen in Vegas' begins where 'Sin at Sea' ends......
When Alysin and Jolie return home from their cruise, Alysin begins to doubt herself and the past week she has had with BE! All the feelings she has begun to feel and never stopping long enough in her past to really give herself a chance at a 'REAL' relationship can BE be the one?
Picking up and 'running', she is used to but running to a man she knows nothing about? This becomes more than she can handle until Jolie, being the BFF she has always been, helps with encouraging Alysin to go with her heart and 'STOP RUNNING'.
"I lacked both experience and confidence in this department. I was a chick of action."
Alysin and Jolie have one week to pack up and head to Vegas....this is their next stop and this is where Alysin will meet BE!
During this week, Jolie confesses to Alysin she has decided she is tired of running and is ready to grow up and settle down.
"We've been at this for ten years. I don't want to keep moving around any more. I don't mind that my life revolves around you, but I need to get to a point where I make my own life, live it on my terms."
So their journey begins.........Once they hit Vegas, they begin their new adventure, Alysin & BE and Jolie beginning her new life. When BE's luggage is delivered to the suite, Alysin goes running to the gondolas to search for him.....but he is nowhere around....while trying to dial her suite number, BE comes up from behind. Alysin about falls out and this is where they both formally introduce themselves and we finally learn BE's real name "Ben".
They spend several days having "AMAZING SEX", learning and enjoying each other.
"For some reason, ever since I had known this man, I had no room for anyone else in my heart, no one else piqued my interest, and no one else challenged me or understood me like he did."
Ben decides he wants to take Alysin to his home in California for a few days.......this is where they begin to learn and discover many good and bad things.....
OMG!!! I can't say anymore because I would totally spoil the rest of the story.....but just know to expect the unexpected!!!!! Because that is what happened to me. This story goes in a direction you have no clue it would ever go!!!
I absolutely LOVED 'Sin at Sea' but F**KING LOVED 'Vixen in Vegas'.
Congrats to Emma Nichols!!!!! Another FABULOUS JOB!
I’m not quite sure where to begin with this beautiful love story. It’s so different from the novella Sin at Sea. Sin at Sea was fun and crazy and yet sweet while Vixen in Vegas was heartwarming and loving with a touch of sadness, an endearing ending to a wonderful love story.
Without him, my heart is the most useless piece of me.
Alysin isn’t a gambler of any kind. For the most part she has her life together, just as she wants it. She calls the shots…no one else. Even her BFF, Jolie, follows Alysin’s lead. As a quick way to nicely refuse a man who advances on her, she meets Mr. Bedroom Eyes (aka Mr. BE) pretending to be married to him. Their one week fake marriage comes to an end only to discover that they have completely fallen for each other and plan to meet in one week in Vegas.
I don’t do love. Only now…with BE, maybe I did. All I knew for certain was that one week wasn’t enough. We had more story to tell, more life to live, more experiences to be had.
Vixen in Vegas picks up right where Sin at Sea leaves off. Although she’s excited about her and Jolie’s new move to Vegas, Alysin is wondering if she wants to go along with such a risk of putting her heart out there, afraid of getting it hurt. Thank goodness for her BFF who keeps her in line and talks her off the ledge of making a possible mistake of not giving love a chance. She does it, Alysin puts herself out there for a wonderful man who loves her so deeply. And as I called it in my review for Sin at Sea, Mr. BE does have a secret, though it wasn’t shocking to me, it still tugged at my heart. What got me more was how his secret got resolved.
My heart. At least I think it was my heart. There was this wide, open ache in my chest like a cannon ball had plowed through it. My head was pounding as I tried to process it all.
This sequel might not have the angst some novels have but my goodness it is still quite a story. I adored every word, every scene, every moment. I’m a sucker for a good soulmate story and honestly you need a break from drama and to just kick back and lose yourself in a hot charming ‘forever’. So I suggest you do that with Alysin and Mr. Bedroom Eyes’ story, you won’t regret it. And yes, Mr. BE has a name which is revealed in Vixen in Vegas, but I’m not going to ruin that fun discovery for you.
This man had me under his spell for sure.
Emma Nichols certainly won me over with her debut series. You can guarantee I will read her future stories.
If you have not read Sin at Sea (here is my review), go read it first. It is a fantastic novella that will get you ready for Vixen in Vegas, and YES you really need to read Sin at Sea first.
I love reconnecting with characters from previous books and getting to see what happens after the first book ends. Wow! Vixen in Vegas gave me a LOT to read about! While Sin at Sea was a fun, sexy joy ride for BE and Sin, Vixen in Vegas is where things start getting real and life throws them some curve balls that can either make them closer or knock them flat.
It was great seeing these characters again and getting to dive deeper; really getting to know them and understand what makes them tick. Emma Nichols did a great job giving the reader the insights into what these characters were thinking, feeling and learning. We get to see how BE (we finally find out his name) and Sin turn what was supposed to be a week of fun-filled fantasies and turn into a relationship in the real world.
Vixen in Vegas was a much more emotional and twisty journey that turns your expectations inside out. I had an inkling this book would grab me by my heart and it did. Emma Nichols does a great job unfolding this story and leaving you satisfied but craving more. I would have loved more time at near the end of the story with BE and Sin, I wasn't a fan of the twist at the ending, but I am not the writer of this story and it did work out the way it was mean to be without leaving us with, what would have been, a crazy cliffhanger, so all is forgiven ;)
I really hope that Vixen in Vegas isn't the end of Sin, BE and Jolie, I am not ready to be done with this cast of characters and could keep reading about them for many books to come. If you loved Sin at Sea, then Vixen in Vegas is a MUST read. IF you haven't read Sin at Sea and are reading this review GO read it, THEN read Vixen in Vegas, I promise this series will make you believe in the power of love. (Cue Huey Lewis and the News...) Seriously, if you are looking for a book that will touch your heart, make you laugh, make you cry, make you a bit crazy and add a dash of steamy hot fun, this is the book for you. Want a great way to kick off your weekend? Grab a tasty beverage and read Sin and BE's journey. Enjoy!
Well this was another SMASH HIT from Emma! I was worried about how these two would make it when they both seemed so detached from the idea of having a lasting long term relationship, but when you find out the truth behind BE's reasons your heart will heart!
As we start out the book Alysin is having a really hard time dealing with her emotions and feelings about the week on the ship. She's having second thoughts about meeting BE and continuing this affair... She continues to question herself as to the why when she was so bent on making a clean break after the week was up. The WHY was so obvious, despite her best intentions she is in love with BE... He's everything she was never looking for and more... But she still doesn't even know his name or what he does for a living or where he even lives. With only the promise of meeting him in Vegas, Alysin sets out on a journey that she will never be able to turn back from! The moment she see's BE again all the doubts and reservations fade into the past.
These characters embark on a journey that is unique. From the moment they meet again and exchange REAL names this time to the last words of the book you couldn't imagine the things that can and will change your thoughts, your heart and your life... It's pretty clear from the beginning that there is something going on with BE and it will truly leave you scratching your head trying to figure out what is wrong. When Alysin takes a short trip with BE to his family's home in California everything changes, and some of it not for the good.
The characters in this book face some very big challenges but their love for one another stands up to those challenges and they knock them down one at a time. Who know that a chance encounter on a ship could lead to such and emotional journey. I absolutely adore the characters in this book and though I felt at times like some of them needed a rap to the head I was thrilled with the way the story went and in the end my heart felt light and heavy all at the same time!
I highly encourage you to pick up this book and follow this touching journey about finding your true love and discovering self-worth. I loved every minute of this story and give this book 5 stars! Emma did an amazing job weaving this awesome story together!
Vixen in Vegas picks up right where Sin At Sea left off, with Sin and BE preparing to meet up in Vegas and possibly break the rules of their arrangement. I have to say that Vixen in Vegas is a much more serious and intense story when compared to Sin at Sea. Whereas SaS was lighthearted, romantic and playful, ViV takes on a different approach. It's still playful and the romance is most definitely still present but the tone of the book is much more somber and tugs at your heart strings. It makes sense when you stop and think about it: In book 1 they were on vacation, it was like the honey moon phase of their "relationship" where everything is all peaches and cream. Once the cruise ship docked it was back to reality and everything they left behind. Unfortunately the seriousness of BE's reality was not something Sin expected, nor did I for that matter.
I was 100% completely invested in this story and could not put it down. I just had to know what was going to happen next and if there could possibly be a happily ever after. (I absolutely adore HEA's). There was a moment towards the end when I yelled "Oh my God!" resulting in funny looks from my co-worker, thus leading me to explain what was going on in the story, at which point she replied, "Oh my God!" See?? It wasn't just me! With a cast of characters as real and lovable as this group is you can't help but become emotional and share their joy, pain and anger. It's inevitable. You will get sucked in.
Emma Nichols has without a doubt become one of my new favorite authors. I seriously can't wait to read more of this amazing series!
Vixen in Vegas begins right where Sin at Sea leaves off. We finally find out who Mr. Bedroom Eyes really is and Alysin finds that some gambles pay off. The would be couple meet up in Vegas in part to see if their relationship can withstand breaking all the rules. Is Sin just kidding herself or is she ready for the long hall? I really enjoyed that the reunion wasn’t rushed. Jolie and Sin’s cross-country road trip really ramped up the anticipation and damn it if I didn’t do an internal squeal when we first spy Ben. Yes his name is Benjamin (sigh). I love these two together and they have to be in the running for cutest couple. That said, their relationship is not without strife, however if comes from an unexpected source. Bonus points for not reverting to the romance conflict script and giving us another trite misunderstanding.
There is a secondary arc regarding Sin’s father that was introduced and then dismissed rather quickly. I would have liked to see where that was going. Ben’s past is cause for concern and in an effort not to mention any spoilers I will just say that it gets tidied up in a nice package by the end ( a bit too tidy and felt a bit rushed.) I would have enjoyed a glimpse into some really heady, heavy stuff. I did miss BFF Jolie. Maybe we’ll find out more in the next story? I really think Ms. Moore can do her story justice.
You would think that a story about Sin and Vegas would be full of debauchery and while it has its sexy moments it is emotional, heartfelt and touching without every being sappy.
We pick up the story shortly after the end of Sin at Sea. Alysin & Jolie are picking up their lives and heading out to Vegas to meet up with Mr. BE. Alysin is scared to a take a chance but with Jolie's encouragement and a little help from BE himself she throws caution to the wind and heads for the unknown... but will it blow up in her face? Mr. BE is sweet, sexy and generous, but he has secrets... secrets that could make Sin run again. Will she be strong enough to stick around???
I really loved this book. I liked the anoymous erotic feel of Sin at Sea but this follow up was so much more. We get to know both Sin & BE on a deeper level. Oh it is still just as hot and steamy as before, but this one will touch your heart too. Alysin grows up in this story. She has to step out of her comfort zone and she has to start putting the people she loves happiness ahead of her own. This is definitely something she is not use to. Sin is a runner. When the going gets tough she simiply picks up and moves on without looking back. Can she stay this time even with the risk of having her heart broken?
Can I also say how much I adore Jolie. She is a straight shooter who brings the "real" to Sin. I love her candor and her undying love for her friend. Every woman needs a Best friend like Jolie... ok maybe not quite as close a friend... but you get my drift. I wouldn't mind a little more story for her *hint hint* Emma ;)
When I finished Sin at Sea, I absolutely could not wait to see where Sin and Mr. BE ended up. Vixen in Vegas is that book that makes you laugh, cry, pray for a miracle, and swear that you need to dust your house (when u read the book, you will get that inside joke). Anyway Alysin is not your typical woman so for her to pack up and move with just a moments notice is nothing new to her, but to do it for love is something she swore she would never do. "I don't do love, Only now... with BE, maybe I did"-Sin Her best friend Jolie keeps you laughing with her no bullshit attitude.. "I've known you forever. The last ten years it has been the two of us and your flavor of the month. This guy, BE, he's not a flavor of the month. BE is the spice of life. You know it and I know it."-Jolie When she agrees to meet Mr. BE in Las Vegas for just one more week, she has no idea how much her life is about to change. Mr. BE (who's name you will learn in this one) has fallen head over heels for his "fake wife" and he plans to show her in every way he knows how. By teaching her how to "Just BE' This is a wonderful follow up to Sin at Sea. Emma nailed it and I can't wait to read more from her! Hopefully we will get to read Jolies story someday :)
Love Love Love! What a great follow-up to "Sinful at Sea" which was easiest one of the most erotic novellas I have read in a while. "Vixen in Vegas" definitely maintained the same level of heat while adding a touching story of self discovery, sacrifice, heartache and love. Stories such as these are why girls like me will always believe in love at first sight! Of course we also believe that some day we will find our millionaire hiding out in the most random of places ready to sweep us off our feet too! (hehe)
I was so excited to be able to read the this book from Emma! I am so envious of the life that Sin has been living for the last decade, to pack up and leave whenever they are read for a change is something to envy. Mr. BE finally has a name and gets more delicious as he goes along. I don’t want to give out spoilers, kittens because this book is worth the read. This book makes you take a look at yourself and find out what you would be willing to give up, risk and take on to be with the one you love. Sin is taken to the point where she has to either break all of her own rules or lose the love of a lifetime.
What to say about Vixen in Vegas...hmmm. Wow! Awesome! Heartbreaking! You get the idea, now go buy it and read it for yourself. You will NOT regret it! Sin and BE have already arranged to meet in Vegas for another week of fun and sex...however some serious issues get in the way a bit. Sin, awesome girl that she is, figures out that she is in love with BE and will do just about anything for him. Please read this book for yourself, as I feel if I write anything more, I will give away too many spoilers. Give Emma Nichols some love too!
AMAZING!!! Awesome!!! OMG what a great book, i couldn't put it down. The storyline is very well written, loves Sin and Ben, they just complete each other. I laughed and cried(a whole lot).I'm in total aww of this book, i can't really put into words how much i thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks so much for writing this wonderful story Emma.
I loved Sin at Sea and could not wait for Vixen in Vegas. I needed to know what would happen when Sin and Mr. BE met in Vegas, would they get their happily ever after and most of all I needed to know more about BE. I needed to know why a sexy, sweet, charming, amazing man like him would be on a cruise by himself. Of course I had some ideas in my head, none of which even came to close to the real reason behind the cruise. And no, I am not going to say a word, but just know that it was a twist that I did not see coming. Vixen in Vegas is still hot and sexy and Mr. BE is still completely swoon worthy, but this is a little bit more of an emotional read and one that I absolutely loved.
Vixen in Vegas picks up exactly where Sin at Sea left off. Sin is getting ready to pack her stuff, get her affairs in order and move to Las Vegas and meet the man that she fell in love with. This move is huge for Sin and unlike any other move that she has experienced in her life. Usually when her and her best friend take off, she is usually running. But this time she has broken all her rules, she got attached and has fallen in love. This time she is running towards love. Her insecurities start to take over, and leave her wondering if BE will show up. Will the spark that they had on the cruise still be there. As anxious as she is to meet him she can't help but wonder what will happen once she does.
After getting the reassurance that she needs, her and BE finally meet again and the chemistry between the two of them is just as explosive as the first time they met. There is an undeniable bond between the two of them. And while they have only knows each other for a week and knew nothing about each other, they were drawn to each other like magnets. Some would wonder, can two people who have known each other for a week, and don't even know each others names really fall in love? The answer is yes! Sin and BE, in my opinion were so perfect together and their love was so real. They were both scared of the feelings that they had for each other, especially Sin. These feelings of needing him, and loving him were new to her but she wanted to embrace it and hold onto it. But she still doesn't know much about the man that has her heart. And he has a secret that can have a major impact on their relationship. When she finally learns what it is that he has been hiding, will she run again or will she stay and fight?
I loved these two characters together. BE was still amazing, sweet, charming, caring and very sexy. You truly see how much he loves Sin and how much he wants to make her happy. The twist in this book, which is his secret was definitely one that I was not expecting, but I loved the direction that the author took this story. Sin and BE were still hot together, but it was the sweeter moments that completely captured my heart. I can't go into detail without giving the whole story away, but you will not be disappointed. Vixen in Vegas will make you laugh, cry and warm your heart. BE and Sin's journey this time around came with a few bumps along the way. But their love helped them to fight and hold on. Vixen in Vegas was a wonderful story filled with happiness, sadness and heartache. Amazing job by Ms. Nichols.

If there is one thing that this book showed me, it is that country singer Tim McGraw had it all right, when he sang the song “Live Like You Were Dying.” This book was powerful in showing how to live in the moment and live for today and not dwell on yesterday or think too much about tomorrow. What if today is all you have? Embrace it.
This amazing follow up to Sin At Sea left me in complete and total awe. One week on a cruise ship and Alysin and Mr. BE didn’t have any personal information on one another. They had no names, no addresses or phone numbers. They had no way to contact each other, just a promise to meet exactly one week later in Las Vegas. But Alysin doesn’t do relationships well.
The next step is always one she just cannot make. Growing up knowing that all men will leave her life, she is destined not to let them hurt her along the way. She is going to embrace them until the relationship comes to an end and to fend off a possible broken heart, Alysin moves. Alysin and her best friend pick a place in a new state, one they have never been to before and move there. Their jobs will move with them and they don’t require a lot to make a quick move. But this move is going to prove to be full of live changing decisions for Alysin.
Alysin has realized that she is in love with Mr. BE. But there is something that is holding her back…her past… her future… She doesn’t even know his real name. But he has promised to meet her in Vegas in one week. But will he show up?
Everything in Alysin’s life changes when she finally meets up with him in Vegas. Rules from the cruise will be broken, walls will be scaled and Alysin will give her heart to him… but that of course comes with a cost.
I loved this book and read through it in one sitting. I know the book ended, but I wanted more of these two characters. The chemistry between them was so incredible and so undeniable but it could possibly more than either of their hearts can take.
I loved that the steam in this book made it fun, but the emotion in this book pulled at my heart. It tugged and jerked and just when I thought one thing was going to happen, something quite the opposite did. This book was amazing and was a great reminder that each day is a gift to be treasured and lived and experienced.

I'm conflicted...*scratches her head* Where did all this emotion come from?
Okay, let me explain...I absolutely LOVED book one Sin at Sea. It was the perfect summer novella to me. Super steamy with a fun and quirky heroine and her best friend sidekick. AND lets not forget the incredibly sexy Mr. BE.
BUTVixen in Vegas was not the lighthearted fun read that I was expecting it to be. It was very emotional, tragic even. So, after I realized that I was not going to get what I had originally envisioned for Vixen in Vegas, I decided to just go with the story and I really liked it.
In order to meet Mr. BE in Vegas, Sin has to get all her affairs sorted out first. Not to mention drive across the country to get there. This adventure is much different than the first time around. There is so much at stake this time. But what's most at stake is her heart.
Mr. BE is super romantic and lovable but he has a BIG secret that will change Sin's life and make her want to run. Which as we all know is her specialty. Jolie was still very real this time around. She told it exactly how it was. There was no sugar coating anything for Sin's sake. I appreciated her a lot, but at times I felt badly for her. She kind of gets dragged into these adventures that are starting to wear on her. She just wants to settle down in one place.
In Vixen in Vegas we are concentrated more on the story aspect and not the sex like it was in Sin at Sea. That is not to say that there weren't steamy scenes, just not as many.
Overall, Vixen in Vegas was a heartfelt story of change, growth, trust, and love. A perfect read if you are looking for an emotional story with some good steamy scenes.
I don't know how I'm going to be able to find words right now...but I'll try. When I first started reading Sin at Sea(sorry, couldn't post a link to it because Goodreads isn't working at 100% right now) I thought it was a funny, light and very hot book. And it was...everything I expected and more.Seriously it was so refreshing reading it.And then Vixen in Vegas started out in pretty much the same manner.I was oblivious, happily reading when....BAM! I am hit right in the heart. Let me tell you...never in a million years would I have guessed that the author would go that way. Man,it still hard thinking about it and I can't believe how diferrent this book was in comparison with the first one.It evolved into so much more...a story so deep and heartbreaking. Okay,I need to get over it.
Moving on to the rating.I gave it 4 stars because I was glued to it the entire time I was reading.Finished it one sitting. And of course, the twist played a big part in it.
And that's why I'm so pissed right now.Because the ending was sooooo RUSHED!I couldn't believe it.You don't get to throw something like that in my face, make me cry for fucks sake and then...here you...there's your happy ending. In a paragraph. It's like the author ran out of inspiration right at the end. Such a shame..because I could have easily given this book 5 stars and put it on top of my favorite books.
I was left reeling at the end of Sin at Sea. I couldn't wait for this book to come out! I remember asking for Sin at Sea to be longer... Well, Vixen in Vegas was what I was looking for! This book has it all! The conclusion to Sin at Sea... Heart break. Happiness. Sadness. Intrigue. I absolutely loved this book. I found my heart aching at times in this book. Why? Well, other than you having to read to find out... Let's just say, I had my suspicions about BE and his weird actions in Sin at Sea... Some things he did, some things he said... I was proven correct in Vegas in Vixen. That made the book that much more lovable and heartbreaking. One little complaint... Well it's not a complaint... I thought I was getting a cliffhanger... I actually WANTED a cliffhanger... But I don't think I got it. **Insert sad puppy face.** However, I may smell another novella or possibly a spin-off? Both are possible. I am keeping my fingers crossed for both!
This book picks up after Sin at Sea continuing with Sin and Mr. BE meeting in Vegas to continue there arrangement. Everything seems great and Sin soon realizes that this is turning more into a real relationship that she so fears thanks to past relationships and her mother lies. Then a more complicated situation arises leaving Sin to flea in fear and Jolie her friend makes her realize its worth the fight but will Sin be on time or is it to late. I have to admit there were some teary eye moments I didn't quite expect to find here in the story but loved both books and stories
'Vixen in Vegas' by Emma Nichols is book 2 in the Sinful Series. I loved the first book in this series 'Sin at Sea' and Emma went to a whole other level in 'Vixen in Vegas'. This picks up right where 'Sin at Sea' left off and takes us on a emotional ride with Sin, Ben, Jolie and Ben's sister, Brenda. I absolutely loved this story! I can't wait to see what happens next with this group of characters! Highly recommend this series!
Heartbreaking and beautiful ending for Ben and Sin...Oh the tears I didn't expect to come from reading this one. I'm so glad Alysin stepped up, faced her fears and was there for BE. I wish I had gotten a little more at the end, it wrapped up a little quicker than I would have liked , but I was invested from book one and was happy to have read this one!
I started Vixen in Vegas last night and finished it today at Lunchtime. Loved it!!! Such a beautiful love story. Vixen in Vegas pulls at your heartstrings and has you on the edge of your seat several times. Sin and BE's story has you laughing, crying, and yelling.(especially when they did not act the way I wanted them to). I can not wait to read more by Emma. I highly recommend this book.
In my utter brutal honesty; I didn't like Sin at Sea. I was generous with the 3 stars & I couldn't give it a 2.5....However I was amazed with Vixen in Vegas. It picks right off where the other one ended but the story was sooooo much better. I'm not picky as a book reader. Give me a story worth reading. This delivered.
Omg!! Fabulous book! I eagerly waited for this book to come out and it didn't disappoint. Sin & Ben's story was wonderful. Had me at trying to anticipate what was going to happen and I was so wrong. Loved it. Very hot!
