Rate this book
In this collection of 42 hadith, al-Hafiz al-Kattani tackles a subject that has been neglected by modern Islam and yet is one that lies at the core of the religion, namely, the love of the noble family of the Prophet ﷺ. Al-Hafiz al-Kattani demonstrates categorically that to love the family of the Prophet ﷺ is an integral part of Sunni Islam and a foundational attitude of the believer.

Al-Hafiz Abu ʿAbdullah Muhammad ibn Jaʿfar al-Kattani (b. 1273 AH) received his early religious education in his native Morocco, then traveled to Syria and the Hijaz to continue his studies with many of leading scholars of his time. He was a specialist of hadith but also mastered other sciences including Islamic jurisprudence. He was deeply involved in the political struggle against colonialism and was a great support to the legitimate Muslim rulers.
