Everyone should review their super to achieve the optimal result for retirement. If you haven’t done so, check the performance of the fund you have likely been lumped into and do a deep dive into fees, risk, asset allocation etc. Being in a poorly performing fund with high fees can cost you $100k plus over your career.

I appreciated the short, clear chapters, and the illustrations and case examples. I skimmed more of the content towards the end as I am still a long way from accessing my super. But it was great to get an overview of the system currently and some context of where it has come and where it's going.

A great book to become familiar with superannuation and its advantages. A little bit lost at the end when he talks about drawing the superannuation, etc.; however, I believe my questions will be answered by asking an expert.
Totally recommended reading!

Actually read the 2025 edition “Super made simple”. Have read many of Noel Whittaker’s books in the past and was just a bit disappointed by this one - low on detail. Still had some valuable information, but just not as good as I’d hoped.

Decent superannuation primer - appreciated the annuity and deductible vs non-deductible debt sections.
