James is the author of THE MAZE RUNNER trilogy and THE 13TH REALITY series. He also published a series (beginning with A DOOR IN THE WOODS) with a small publisher several years ago. He lives and writes in the Rocky Mountains.

La verdad es que no me resolvió ninguna duda. Simplemente son algunos memorandos que se envían las personas de CRUEL.

Esta bien para los fans de la saga, pero en realidad no aporta nada nuevo

Si llegamos a este libro es porque somos unos locos de la saga, esta super interesante, me aclaró muchas dudas pero una vez más me dejó con ganas de saber más, ¿porque no me cuenta todo ?? xD

Se me ha hecho extremadamente corta, y aunque me parece lamentable sacar una 'novela' de este estilo (rozando las cien páginas, sin contenido, con ilustraciones con poco mérito pues se basan en los actores de las películas), creo que James Dashner no hace un mal trabajo. O, al menos, mejora el desastre que hizo en El Destello. En El corredor del laberinto: Información clasificada tenemos información de verdad, relevante. Ha sido más que interesante ver lo que ocurría en la organización del Laberinto, en la selección de sujetos, e incluso conocer ciertos pasajes de las vidas de personajes como Fritanga o Minho. Tampoco tengo mucho más que decir. En definitiva, es una mini novela curiosa pero que no pasa de ahí. Aviva las ganas de leer más de la saga y eso se agradece bastante. La edición está bien, por cierto.

So we get a lot in this short book. From files from wicked, to the 3rd phase from Minho eyes. I loved it. I flew trough it, and i was just sad that it was over. BUT WHAT DID I NOT LIKE THEN?

Well, there is a part in this book, which covers the first meeting of Teresa and Thomas as kids. But we did get that at the end of the Kill order. This book was made before that. So James changed it, and made in much better in the Kill order. But here, it's so different, and bad. And the thing is, it makes it so unprofessional.

But for the rest, we read files from the people who made the flare, we read files from people from wicked. We read about Frypan, and how it felt to get his Memories back. And we read from Minho, how his phase 3 was. And it was all so freaking good.

I like Minho much more after this. I really do.

I enjoyed reading this, but I can't give it more than 3 stars, since it was excesively short and didn't really clarify much about the story. As a complement to the saga it's good and fun, but it's missing a lot to be justified as a separate book. It could be just an annex for some special edition of The Maze Runner, but a separate book seems like a waste for so little.

Also, I was hoping it would include the second epilogue from The Kill Order that was only in certain editions, and that I had to search and read online, despite it being important to the closure of that prequel: the one about the first meeting of Thomas and Teresa. But instead, strangely, this books has a different story about that event that contradicts the other one, so... I don't know what to think.

PS: And what's up with Thomas's father calling him Thomas? That name was given to him by WICKED afterwards, it even mentions that in this same book. Maybe it can be justified as a glitch in Thomas altered memories or something like that, but to me, it seems like a sloppy mistake.

Una precuela que para mi ha sido demasiado corta, cuando terminas de leerlo quieres más, más y más, me encanto saber más sobre las organizaciones y que pensaban, saber cosas sobre que pruebas tuvieron algunos Larchos.
La mejor parte de este pequeño libro sin duda fue la fase 3 de Minho fue simplemente MAGISTRAL, se revelan detalles que si eres fan de La saga simplemente amas, donde vemos información que de alguna manera permite reconstruir la historia que hay detrás de todos los libros de la serie. Es un libro para leer cuando ya se ha terminado de leer todos las novelas, de otro modo podrías tener un spoiler aquí y otro por allá.

A mi se me hizo tan corto, y se lee en cuestión de nada. Una información sobre este libro es que te hace saber quién fue la primera persona que hace que propaguen el virus, sin duda quieres matarla.

Si eres fan de la saga simplemente tienes que leerlo.

“El problema es simple: el mundo tiene demasiada gente y no suficientes recursos.”

Al ser un libro tan cortito era de esperarse que no aportara mucho, y tal fue el caso.

La verdad no me acuerdo mucho sobre lo que leí en este libro, lo que da a resaltar lo poco llamativo que lo encontré. Creo que leerlo o dejar de hacerlo no marca una diferencia.

Lo califico con dos estrellas por el simple hecho de que es corto y se lo lee rápido.

¡Al fin conseguí más respuestas!
Primero que nada, gracias infinitas al señor James Dashner por haber creado este conjunto de archivos clasificados e información acerca de The Maze Runner, de verdad, gracias.

Después de acabar la trilogía (de The Maze Runner, por supuesto) me quede con varias (muchas) preguntas que pensé que se responderían con The Kill Order pero no fue completamente así; algunas cosas se aclararon más pero aún así me quede con dudas sobre: La Llamarada, los habitantes del Claro, sobre CRUEL y cosas relacionadas con todo lo que ya mencione. Por suerte con esto pude saber más detalles.

También tengo que decir que me dejó muy interesada leer el adelanto de The Eye of Minds...No era menos de esperar tratándose de un libro de James.

Y bueno, lo digo otra vez...¡AMO THE MAZE RUNNER!

Read for the booktubeathon 2015 challenge to read the last book you bought.

I really enjoyed this addition to the Maze Runner series. I haven't reread the series in ages so I was worried I'd forgotten most of the story and wouldn't understand this additional piece but it was actually really helpful in reminding me about what happened in the series. I loved the extra memories most of all, especially Minho's at the end. It's made me want to reread the series again.

Lo más interesante del libro es que te cuenta el origen del Destello, que en la trilogía era un misterio. Por lo demás no pasa de entretenido, es prescindible del todo.

Un buen método para ganar algunos dólares más. ¿Esclarecer? En realidad, poco y nada. Sólo recalca lo obvio en la mayoría de los casos o algo que uno ya había adivinado leyendo los libros de la trilogía. Lo único nuevo es un recuerdo de Thomas (que en este momento no me acuerdo que haya estado en los libros anteriores), cuando Sartén empieza a recordar y la escena de Minho, incluso de las tres, dos son completamente innecesarias, la de Thomas porque uno ya sabía qué había sucedido con sus padres, por lo tanto, no me da un dato nuevo sobre esto, y la de Minho, que sinceramente, me pareció una forma de rellenar un libro que de por cierto, es corto, ya que es una escena que me sirve nada, si me quería decir lo fiel que era Minho con sus compañeros, pues, en tres libros ya me había dado cuenta, no necesitaba una escena que no ayuda a entender la historia para notarlo; la más interesante es la forma en que se revelan los recuerdos, en este caso, con Sartén, ya que es uno de los misterios que Dashner no habló en el final de Maze Runner.

En fin, ¿entretenido? Sí. ¿Aporta algo nuevo? No. Sirve sólo para recordar a viejos amigos y enemigos. Nada más.

Thanks, James Dashner, for getting me out of my big reading block. I do not need to say anything else, right? In the line of the saga: wonderful. While it is a very short story that does not give much, it makes you know new data that leave you speechless and relive this wonderful series.

Haha ik heb nog nooit zo snel een boek gelezen! In een halfuurtje had ik hem uit maar ik vond het wel echt een toevoeging aan het verhaal. Sommige vragen zijn beantwoord maar andere niet. En het einde maakte me weer zo nieuwsgierig naar meer!

The Maze Runner Files is supplementary material. It's over quick and it's for people that have read the series already. There are some emails written between members of Wicked and between the people responsible for the virus. Nothing big is revealed, it's just a reminder that there were people behind those projects. More interestingly are a few random chapters from the points of view of Thomas, Frypan, and Minho. They're basically a bone thrown to fans. No big reveals but it was interesting to get a few pages of material that could have been in the books.

Really, there's not much of a point to this. I would have much rather had more random chapters from various other characters or even some more backstory. There's potential there but it wasn't captured. I was kind of disappointed by this.

Claramente solo vale la pena la tercera parte del librito.
No se si perdí el entusiasmo por esta saga o lo leí mucho tiempo después.
Nada del otro mundo. Solo son interesantes las últimas hojas que realmente aportan algo. Cabe aclarar que lo leí después de código cruel, y quizás eso hizo que no me sorprenda nada.
Lectura recomendada si eres fan de la saga, como para recordar lo emocionante que fue y suspirar al recordar momentos gente, pero sinceramente no vale ni la pena comprarlo. (Excepto que quieras tener la saga completa)

Na het lezen van de labyrintrenner trilogie was ik eigenlijk nog niet klaar met deze serie! Gelijk in dit hele korte boekje gedoken en oh wat was dit fijn!
Ik vond dit een hele leuke toevoeging aan de serie. Er worden weer wat kleine dingetjes verduidelijkt en vanuit andere kanten belicht. Van mij had dit boekje echt veel langer mogen zijn!

50 páginas dispuestas para que me dejaran rogando por más información. ésto es lo que siempre hace James Dashner: Deja puros cabos sueltos y me hace sentir esperanza para que luego me decepcione a lo grande. Sigo con las ansias de obtener más información porque no quedé para nada satisfecha con el final de la serie. No lo sé, sólo siento que hay una gran falta de información y que necesito saber cada puñetero detalle de las razones por las que hicieron todo. Se aclararon algunas dudas, pero continúan los cabos sueltos.

No pude soportar a la estúpida de Ava Paige. I mean, en serio, la muy boluda se lamenta de tener que eliminar a un chico débil como Chuck. Dice que él era dulce y tierno, pero que tuvo que morir como lo hizo. Eso me molesta porque ella NO HIZO NADA EN TODA LA PUTA SERIE, excepto interceder y salvar a Thomas, y sus putos informes de MALVADO.

Crearon La Llamarada como una solución para la falta de recursos, pero el virus se expandió por todo el mundo de manera errónea, volviendo locos a los infectados.

Es horrible el método que usó MALVADO para encontrar la cura a La Llamarada. Le quitaron sus vidas y recuerdos a un grupo de niños por el bien de la humanidad. No importa que Thomas y Teresa quisieran ayudar. MALVADO les robó su vida, para nada. En The Death Cure, Thomas es encontrado como el sujeto más prometedor para donar su cerebro en pos de la cura. Pero luego, es milagrosamente salvado por la canciller Ava. Casi vuelve a morir, pero de nuevo, es salvado. Ésta vez por Teresa. (Y ni siquiera le da las gracias). Thomas se queda con Brenda (¡ESA MALDITA **** QUE DETESTO CON TODA MI ALMA!) y con un grupo de sobrevivientes que comienzan una nueva vida en un lugar libre de contagio.

En fin, es una lectura obligatoria para los fanáticos de la serie. Aunque no consigan nada de información adicional importante (OSEA, JAMES, DAME MÁS DE TERESA Y THOMAS), les agradará.
