How? A Bundle of Holding, and someone recommended it.

What? Here's the pitch: Imagine the game Deadlands -- which is the wild west with monsters -- but make it DCC (Dungeon Crawl Classics) -- which is OSR and gonzo. Deadlands itself was already a bit gonzo -- the tag line was "the spaghetti western -- with meat!" So, honestly, the gonzo-ness isn't that big a change; and in some ways, this is almost more like Deadlands through a lens of more modern sensitivities: the slave-holding Confederacy is defeated, some witches are good, and the main villain isn't a vengeful Native American.

There's 900 pages to the main core book, but since this is DCC, a lot of those are spells and tables. There's also a guide to creating towns (and a sample town), and a few adventures.

This bundle also included a bunch of adventures.

Yeah, so? Seems like it could be fun, but I guess I wanted something more different/exciting, and this isn't interested in doing that.
