He is the founding Bishop of the Lighthouse Chapel International denomination which was founded in 1987 and has become one of the most prominent and fastest-growing churches to have been born out of West Africa.

This is an amazing book that reminds us that been saved at one time, doesn't mean that we will easily forever remain saved. Instead, at one point or the other, we will face the temptation of 'backsliding'. This book is all about developing a staying power that we may be able to stand until the end. Dr. Heward ends the book by retelling the stories of different people on their death beds. Those who endure give a great testament and leave off happy, but those who backslid are terrified by where their deeds lead them to.
