Part 1: Geronimo, Trap, Thea and Benjamin follow clues found in the underpainting of the famous Mona Mousa. They must find all of the clues and solve the mystery before the strange gang they seem to be following as they search.

The unabridged audiobook although read with feeling by Bill Lobley misses the fun of the Stilton format of the texts. The stereotypical voices fit the simple cartoon style story.

Recommended: 4-12 years

My daughter continues to thoroughly enjoy these books. I get tired of the cheese, rat, mouse references but they amuse her. I am sure I will listen to more of this series of audio books despite my opinion of them.

E's favorite book is the Mona Mousa Code. I can't play it enough for her. Her reasoning for the rating: the mysterious code is just the right difficultly to solve and she loves codes!
