Don't publish anything with insufficient knowledge. On a page 32 about Gautam Buddha Quote, it's written that "Siddhartha Gautam was born in Northern Central India". Where have u gotten this false knowledge? As a saying goes, little knowledge is a dangerous thing. Lord Buddha was Born in Lumbini of Kapilvastu District of NEPAL and Nepal has forever been an Independent Nation.
So, either u show your citation about the text or apologise publicly. U can't write anything u want.
I never knew where some quotes came from and who said what. This makes a wonderful coffee table book. Quotes famous figures in history and now can provoke and inspire the way things are seen. We also get background information of some of these people and their history. I had a lot of fun reading this book and is easy to pick up and read whenever you want. Some quotes were funny and will uplift anyone who needs a good laugh. Fortune cookie anyone?
Excellent book. A magnificent collection of quotes from every great person & well presented.. Read everyday and would recommend to everyone. Many thanks for the book..!!
This book is full of the quotes of famous people, for example Albert Einstein. There is one quote that I loved it so much that it changed my thoughts entirely, which is "The person who never made a mistake never tried anything new." It means if you never made a mistake in your entire life, you haven't try new things yet. If you do things that are capable for you to do, you wont fail, but if you face new things or new challenges, you might fail. There is also one ore quote that I love, "Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall." by Confucius. Even if we also fail, we can all stand up and face it again, rather than keep on failing and failing and not knowing what to improve, that is the thing you dont want to face.

Right from the preface of Abhi Sharma’s book, ‘THE GREAT BOOK OF BEST QUOTES OF ALL TIME’; you get the feel that your intellectual journey through it would be blissful and fulfilling. You’re confronted with a striking quote from the author of ‘Animal Farm’, George Orwell: ‘Writing a book is a horrible, exhausting struggle, like a bout with some painful illness. One would never undertake such a thing if one were not driven on by some demon whom one can neither resist nor understand.’ ‘Demon’ here refers to an impelling force and I believe this resonates with every writer. I love how the personalities and themes are arranged in alphabetical order from Albert Einstein (A) to Dreams (D) down to Steve Jobs (S) and then William Shakespeare (W). The brief biographies or introductory notes of personalities or themes greatly enlighten and the quotes are awesome, ranging from wise sayings to humour. Even from a figure like Adolf Hitler you have so much to learn from – how his mind worked. Hear him: ‘Make the lie big, make it simple, keep saying it, and eventually they will believe it.’ Obviously so much research, time and energy had gone into the making of this tome and I greatly commend the compiler of this compelling work. There are a few typos here and there and grammatical errors but these didn’t distract me from my exciting intellectual trip. Like a quote from Confucius states: ‘You cannot open a book without learning something’; I assure you, you’d learn so much from opening this one, from personalities and concepts or themes in life you love or even those you love to hate. And lest I forget, there are interesting graphics at the edges of the pages which add to the thrill as well.
I give it two stars for the effort of collecting all the quotes. Some are serious, some are profound, other are funny or unimportant, eventually one can find many quotes to like or to think about. If it had not been for the typos, the questionable selection of outdated, misogynistic or anti-semitic quotes, or the repetition of the same quote in consecutive pages, I would have given another * in my rating. I'd recommend the accompanying book Best Quotes of All Time for readers in a hurry as I found the selection of quotes even better and more concise.
A fun collection of quotes from historical figures with a short intro into who those people were. Informative and an easy read. Great for those moments when you're between books or only have a few minutes for reading.
I think this book helps a person to believe in himself. If you are a person who needs encouragement and advice, this book is for you! This book is like taking advice from the past. I really recommend this book especially to you!
I love quotes and there are a lot of favorites here, a few new. The graphics make it difficult to read as an e-book and it was a little thin. I liked the bios of the different authors thought.
This book is very useful, as it contains a lot of quotes from the past and the present. I can use them in essays or translate them into Chinese for writing.
