As the Ashland Pack series continues into the second book...
Despite helping to defeat the dark wizard Magnus McPherson from taking over all the werewolf packs, vampire clans, and Twister Council, and rescuing his sister, Adrianna, The Trinity, instead of feeling triumphant, Mace McDonald, Alpha, is restless, irritable, and starting to be quite unpleasant even with his family and friends.
Mace recognizes the changes in himself but for the life of him, he doesn't know what the problem is. Or does he? He plays it off as pressure from the influx of new members to his pack along with members from the vampire clan and Twisters Council.
Plus, the stress from an unknown evil that is still plaguing the town. Yeah, that’s his story and he is sticking to it, but the people close to him feel it is something else and decide that maybe he needs a little shove in the right direction.
After Lexy Redden and her parents' petition to the become members of the Ashland Pack is accepted, they move into town to start a new life. Lexy is thrilled. She is a powerful witch in her own right, but life hasn't been easy. She finally feels she has been given the opportunity to make a life for herself, instead of depending on others.
Reece Phillips and his sister, Star move to Ashland with great hopes of finding a place to call home. It has been a long road for Reece since he has been on his own for quite a while, but he is now responsible for his sister, after the death of their parents. Once without a pack to call his own, in Ashland, he finds new, honest friends, and when he is appointed Beta of the pack he is determined to do well considering he is the new wolf in a developed pack with powerful leaders. Can he find a place for himself and give his sister a chance to thrive within a pack again? Or will he be the lone wolf again, never finding his true place?
Sparks fly when Mace and Lexy meet but both fight the mating pull until it becomes impossible when Mace introduces his new Beta Reece Phillips. Mace can't explain why he feels connected to Lexy, but also feels a strong pull to Reece. He soon realizes they are a triad, and sets about getting to know his mates.
When Lexi's newfound freedom is challenged, and her past troubles catch up with her, does she run as per her usual response? Or does she stay, stand her ground, and hope that in the end she is still alive to enjoy her newfound freedom and happiness?
The Ashland Pack faces many changes along with evil, and the added strain of added members. Follow their story as you read how separate groups come together to start building a defense against an evil that is coming, but they have yet to find out what the evil is or whom? How do you prepare when you don't know what you are facing?
This book is intended for 18+ readers. Sexually explicit content. Contain a ménage [MFM] romantic relationship..
Bryce is a mother, a writer, and a wife who loves to escape to the world she built in the Ashland Pack. She burst onto the publishing scene with a hit in The Trinity. She loves writing and talking to people who have the same tastes as she does.
I'm a wife to a great hubby and mother to three beautiful children. I love to read books and write about places that come together in my head. I try to write about what I know and usually you will find some law enforcement in my books.
I write about strong characters that I want to see succeed in life. I always write a happy ending. I have to guys. I put a lot of tragedy in my books and then give them the much- needed break they need to be successful.

I really enjoyed Big Bad Alpha, Bryce Evan's second book in her Ashland Pack Series. Even though this book is the second in the series, it still can be read as a stand alone. I am sure some parts of the story would have been a little more clearer to me if I had read The Trinity first but I still enjoyed Big Bad Alpha immensely without knowing the back story from the first book. Of course this story definitely makes me want to find out what happened in the first book, which is next on my reading list.
The Ashland Pack series introduces a slightly different take on Wolves, Vampires, and Witches. Besides some very hot sex scenes, Big Bad Alpha also has an action packed story-line with mystery, intrigue, and lots of side characters to love. I definitely recommend the book to anyone who is a fan of werewolf/paranormal stories.
This is Mace, Reese, and Lexy's story. I will say Reese is new and enjoyed reading about him but I wanted to know a little more about him. We really didnt get to know him well. Just a little. We didnt even get to meet him until a bit into the book. Mace was kind of an ass at first and was in denial. Even sought to erase Lexy by trying to have sex with someone else. I didnt like that part. Lexy is a traumatized woman and I know things progressed with them slow because of that, but I think it should have happened earlier. I was surprised when it was like 80% of it then they mated. I realize why but I still think it should have been about 60%. Thats ok though because I did like the book. Things are progressing about this Master. Sounds like everything is intertwined in some way. Can't wait to see what comes next. I am thinking its Damen and Declan's story. LOL. I hope she gives them hell since they are such pains in the butts. :) Still editing issues.
Another AMAZING story from Bryce Evans. My most favorite part was when Mace realizes he has a mate but he isn't sure how to deal with the fact. Poor Lexy is not sure what she is suppose to feel about Mace or Reece with her past creeping in on her making her doubt herself all the time. There is a lot of emotions running through this book; love, pain, sadness, happiness, fear, you name it it's there. Really love how Bryce brings everyone together in her stories like one big huge family.

Book two in Ashland Pack series, quite a long story, here we see Alpha Mace as he finds his mates but fights the mating pull. Lexy is a witch who was hurt in the past. Reece has his own problems to deal with. Can they pull together to help Lexy and show what true mates are all about? There is a bit of suspence and hot steamy scenes. We see other characters as they meet their mates so I cant wait for other books in this series. I enjoyed this book very much and I definately recommend it.
Now I have been waiting for this book for a while and so glad I waited. I loved the story of Mace. He was my favorite in the first book and Damen. But I don't want to give away the ending but I can't wait for Damen and Declans story to unfold. Yea Bryce another great one. Again I have to say a great read. I couldn't put it down all day.

Two sexy alpha males. We see other characters as they meet their mates so I cant wait for other books in this series. I enjoyed this book very much and I definately recommend it.
This is the second book of the Ashland Pack. Another pair of male wolves with their female wit h/mate. The drama continue, leaving the reader mystified as to who is still after the Ashland Pack. I can hardly wait for the next book. S. Otto
Very enjoyable and entertaining read. One thing I didn't care for was Mace and Reece resisting the mating pull for so long. I would've like them to realized that they were meant to be together sooner so they could've work together as a couple to fight the bad guys. Also the sex scenes were lacking. The best part of a ménage coupling is the steamy intimacy between the mates and there were only two in this book. Overall I like the book looking forward to reading more books in this series.
For the most part, I enjoyed this book. I like the menage aspect with the two guys and the girl actually all being each others mate. It would have been better if the guys had sex with each other too but I digress. I liked the characters and the story.
The one thing that annoyed me and went against most shifter books is how hard the characters were fighting the mating bond. Mace is the Alpha but he surely wasn't acting like one as he didn't step up. Maybe they don't read shifter books and don't know they are supposed to run towards the bond instead of away from it. Reese making silly statements like how is he supposed to tell the Alpha that they are mates was just silly. They are wolves, why would he think that Mace wouldn't know.
I hope that one of the future books in the series gives us a MMF storyline so we can have some man loving too.
This book was good, but confusing. It gave me a different look on love that goes on between two people, especially mates.
After being confronted by the nasty popular boy, James, Becky soon mets her mate. Damon. Damon is the future alpha of the neighboring pack to her fathers. Damon and Becky are the future alpha and lunas of both of their packs. Combining the pack makes them the strongest pack in the world. Through the couples journey, Becky soon discovers that she is the choosen one. That she is ment to defeat Mason, and rule over all supernatural creatures. The problem is, Mason knows this, along with who her mate is. If there is anything to bring a werewolf down, is to threaten their mate.
I would recomend this book to anyone who wants a good fictional romance with lots of twists and turns.
3.5 repetitive stars.... Change some names around and voila you have the first book as the second book... Idk... I liked it because I enjoyed getting updates in the previous triad pair but... This read lacked originality and sex... Sorry but the best part of alpha werewolves mating is the steamy scenes and there were only two... Ehhh I liked the authors style and I enjoyed the character development I just struggled to finish the book. It's worth giving a try especially if you enjoyed the first book
When your the Alpha and your pack has tripled in size almost overnight the pressure to protect and keep everyone safe is paramount. But a restlessness has grabbed Mace and all he can think about is carmel and strawberries. He thinks he has found is mates, but he's not gay or big so why does his wolf say mate when Reece comes to town. Of course his wolf also says Lexy is his mate and Lexy is in trouble. Can Mace and Reece protect her?
This is the second in a new series and it's just got even better than the first book. It's the Alphas turn to find his mates and as usual they come with baggage and mental scars. Can love conquer all find out in this book
