The second book in this series and I loved it even more than the first!!!! With characters I love. (Can you love Death?) and characters I love to hate. (Loki you sneak). This book draws you in and doesn't let go.
This books starts off a couple weeks after the first book ends. The same characters show up, Raven with Michael, Holli with Garrett (Death), Loki, and both never worlds Hell and Heaven.
I absolutely loved this book. The Author kept on track and started where it left off for Ravens Breath. I loved how the characters adapted to their new love that ended in the first one and the Norse Mythology is really evident in here. You see almost the same thing happen but with a twist that completely through me a loop. The author really put a twist and turns in this one to keep the reader questioning if it will be like the first one.
You get a more indepth look into some of the characters and the ones that are new. Surprises, funny banter, and the normal drama violent fights that we saw in book 1 rears its head and will pull you into the world of Death and the Reapers, with a little twist in how the Powers to be handle every situation between heaven and hell. Purgatory is in for a real treat that will make you not put the book down!
I can't wait for the next one! I am loving these characters and the exciting dark shallow world of Purgatory and kick butt women in it!
Loki is still hard at work and so are Raven, Michael, Death and Holli. Of course with Loki involved nothing is what it seems. When Reapers start dying and Holli start acting strange there is no clue as to how the chips will fall and boy does it fall. While the first book was full of action and very tame romance the second book is just as intense.
Lies, tricks, mis-direction all of the things Loki can do wrap them and twist the merry little group up in pieces. A great story with characters that work well and flow together. Nothing is as it seems even as things change and Heaven steps in to stop Michael and Death from taking action. Nothing is as it seems and to the last page you too will be wondering what can possibly happen next.
This author has weaved a web o tight it is difficult to figure out what is happening next. I love the story and her mastery of the gift of story telling. I can't wait to see where she takes us in the next book.
This book is not what I am originally used to. I got this book as an ARC and I read it and my thought on this book is that Tish Thawer has a brand new fan. With out giving any spoilers of this book is hard to do a review on but I am going to do my best. This book has many twists and turns but kept with the story line and most of all kept my interest ( which for the one's that know me know that is hard to do lol). I thought this book was great. I liked the characters in it and actually fell in love with one of them. I can't wait to read the next book in this series. I have to see how this story ends now. This book did end in a cliffhanger but that is alright because I know there is hopefully another one to come. So for the ones that is thinking about buying this book all I have to say is BUY THE BOOK YOU WON"T BE DISAPPOINTED. THIS BOOK IS A MUST READ. :) :) :)
In the continuation of the Women of Purgatory series we have book two. The love between Holli and the newly appointed Death aka Garrett. Their live started in book one and blossomed in book two. After Lucifer decides that he wants to rule He'll and Purgatory he comes up with a plan to overtake Purgatory. With the help of Loki they weave their magic and make Dark Abigail. Hells first woman assassin. She is used by Lucifer to create havoc down in Purgatory by killing off some of their reapers. Raven, Death ,Holli and Micheal have to find a way to stop Abigail from killing off more of their reapers. Strange twitch though. Abigail doesn't want to do these horrible things Lucifer is making her do. She wants no say in it and gets the gang to try and help her get away from Hell. Good second book. As the last one this falls into the YA category with mild swearing. Cute love story!!

Where to start? First off, I love that this story picks right up where Raven’s Breath left off. If you read Raven’s story then you can easily start Dark Abigail without hesitation. Tish Thawer does an amazing job of not only introducing us to some new fabulous characters, but she also makes sure we haven’t forgotten the original ones we fell in love with.
This story is an easy read and one you don’t want to put down. I was thoroughly hooked and (sly grin) now patiently waiting for Holli’s Hellfire to come out. I MUST KNOW WHERE THIS IS ALL HEADED!
*****Five stars for another great Tish Thawer original!*****
What an awesome story. It’s great that it follows directly after book one in the series Raven’s Breath.
Abigail is taken directly to Hell after she dies only to discover there is no torment for her. This is a mystery and Lucifer decides to make her his assassin.
Lucifer and Loki are up to mischief and it involves Abigail, Raven, Holli and Death.
It is fast moving and kept me enthralled throughout, can’t wait for the next one. This would make a great TV series or movies.
Book 2 in the series, The woman of Purgatory, certainly did not disappoint. Like the first, it a faced paced, action packed, thrill ride through Hell and Purgatory. And also like Book 1, ends in a cliff hanger that left me slack jaw and tapping my kindle for additional pages!
