I love this game. Bought it when it 1st came out and my friends and I played many hours of adventure with it. Nice, quick but deadly combat system. Nice character building. Very recommended

A good set of rules, better than the first edition. However, there is still a fair amount of page flipping during character generation. Given that, there are a couple of good “blow-by-blow” examples of char gen which help. The mechanics are task oriented with three levels of difficulty for any task.

Note that there is also a version 2.2 which brings the game system more in line with Traveller the New Era. Is it necessary? No. The game is perfectly playable in its second edition format. If you are a Traveller the New Era fan it might be worth your while to purchase the 2.2 ed. as a pdf.

We used to read the Twilight 2000 manuals growing up just as much for their amazing artwork and depiction of a post-WW III Europe as we did play the game. The story backdrop always felt like it would have made a good novel or movie in the vein of Red Dawn or more recently, Civil War.

Preferred the 1st edition, but this is more like a large unit combat system that the original module.

Fabulous game of shoot-shoot and survival. Where will you find gas for that truck in a war-torn country? That and more fun awaits you within these pages.
