cute but there were times in this manhwa series that made me uncomfy, like when a character would say no to a spicy act and then, as another reviewer put it, it would be justified by "I enjoyed it" afterwards.

and there is such a thing as too much spice, some scenes seemed like they were just poorly set up just for a spicy scene

Empece a leer estos libros hace años. Espere que el cuarto esté terminado para leerlo y... lo odie. No lo odie en un principio, me trajo recuerdos de personajes que amaba, pero ¿siempre fue así? Odiaba las escenas donde uno decía que no y NO LE HACÍAN NI CASO. Se justificaba con que "lo disfrutaba", normalizar la violación fue parte de los otros 3 libros???????????
Disfrute muchas cosas, había escenas tiernas que se arruinaban por la cantidad de veces que cogían sin parar. La escena donde hablaban de violación (por el jefe de Taesung) me pareció bastante correcta y me sorprendió por lo que dije anteriormente.
Taesung en este libro me harto, lo quería matar más de una vez.
Lo que la termino de cagar para mí fue cuando secuestran a un nuevo personaje y lo violan. No sabemos qué mierda le pasa, fue totalmente innecesario y me siento muy asqueado.

I still enjoyed it a lot, I love these characters to bits, but boy the jump from cute and sweet to NSFW was very abrupt lol. We get dicks in the second chapter of this volume and I'm not gonna lie, it startled me a bit 😂

I think I would have preferred if the build-up to full-blow sex was a bit more gradual, if there was a bit more communication around it all, but otherwise I didn't mind the (many) sex scenes. I've seen reviews saying it feels a bit rapey at times, and I definitely don't agree with that, but I will say that Haebom should have communicated more about what he likes and what he's less enthusiastic about let's say. I'm choosing to believe that the most important thing to him is bringing his partner pleasure, which is valid. But I'm also 100% certain Taeseong would have slowed down a bit if he knew that would make it easier for Bom. He's not a fucking mind reader, guys. Don't make it seem like he's forcing Haebom, because that's not what's happening at all imo.

Moving on from all the sex and focusing a bit more on the other ways the story moved forward. I liked the progress we made with the mom. She really needs to acknowledge that she fucked up when her son was a child and she has a lot to make up for and I saw her taking small steps in that direction. Also telling their (one) friend they live together is a step towards coming out at school. I get why they're still keeping their relationship a secret, but I really think more friends should be in the know by now. The bit with Taeseong's ex was also quite fun, she was a bit ridiculous tho, reading so much into his actions.

So yes, overall I will say the progression regarding intimacy made that there was less room for the rest of the story to progress, but I still enjoyed it a lot. While it was very sexy, I do think this is my least favourite volume so far. Curious to see where the rest of the volumes take us.

Jaegyun really does turn out to be trouble, but it seems he has a history of this, so the rest of their classmates don't give much thought to anything he says or does other than being disgusted that he's targeting an underclassman. Taesung and Haebom both have more than a few moments battling their own jealousy monsters, though their relationship seems more secure than ever. Even Ms. Ha making waves doesn't really put a dent in them, just makes them worry for a bit which is understandable the way Haebom has always been so careful and mindful of causing any concerns for his caretakers. It's rather impressive how Haebom is learning to step up little by little when they have these new situations to confront, not that he always has the best judgment right in the middle of the conflict, but he's doing much better. Yonghee also steps up more than a few times to help the boys, though it's rather hilarious he still hasn't figured out that they live together, or that they haven't told him considering he's clearly been supportive this entire time.

Not gonna lie the sex scenes were a bit much sometimes... Like it felt a tiny bit stereotypical, that the first time a (gay) couple has sex, they do it over and over. And also that Haebom felt like he couldn't keep up with Taesongs stamina and libido... Kinda cute all in all but also a little.. Hmm... Idk
I guess it's just a little too perfect for me hahaha, but still very enjoyable. Also again very nice to see them both grow and change through the different circumstances and stages in their lives. Very nice to have actual plot and development in yaoi manhwa/Manga and not just have the characters stay the same and... Fuck.. Basically...
I'm still very much obsessed and wanna get volumes 5-7 immediately and know what else is gonna happen 😭

สิ่งที่ทำกับกับลูกมันผิด หมางเมินมาตลอด ก็ไม่ได้หวังให้ลูกให้อภัย แต่จะพยายามปรับปรุง เห็นนายเอก (ลูกคนอื่น) เป็นที่หนึ่งเสมอ แต่ลูกตัวเองไม่สนใจ พระเอกตอนคุยเปิดอกกับแม่ก็บอกเลยว่า ที่เรายังคุยกันทุกวันนี้ก็เพราะนายเอกไม่ใช่เหรอ ประทับใจ จับหัวใจนิดๆ

แต่พอเคลียร์กับแม่เสร็จ เนื้อเรื่องดูรีบๆ ไม่รู้รีบอะไร แปปๆ วันเกิดพระเอก แปปๆ คริสมาส ทุกอย่างเล่าจบภายใน 1 ตอน

So, this felt... uncomfortable. I wanted the focus to be on their first job and retain that feel of cozy and comfort from volumes one and two but it again went left field. Where I thought it was nice they did the enthusiastic consent in volume three, here it seems to have vanished and instead it's just...icky half the time. I also loathed that weird plot twist. Why?

It would have been nice to see the relationship with the dad be built, Haebom becoming more sure of himself, office friendships being formed. It was less smut than volume three but it felt very unneeded half the time. Like a lazy way of filling in chapter quotas or something, idk.

i've seen other reviews point it out as well, but why does the cuteness have to be sullied by rapey undertones. like legit, a character says "no" but oh right, "no" actually means "yes" and they will say they enjoyed it afterwards. it's fine if your kink is dub-con or non-con, but then it has to be explicitly stated before the sex. rules and agreements and such

it's just sad because for the most part this series really has been cute, so it's just super jarring to have a shit ton of sex scenes that make the reader uncomfortable :P

I'm having mixed feelings about this manhwa. While the first three volumes were adorable and light-hearted, the later volumes took a darker and more uncomfortable turn. It's not just the explicit content, which isn't my style, but the way Taesung and Haebom interact with each other that feels pushy and manipulative. After being treated to a sweet romance in the early volumes, I was surprised by the sudden shift to more explicit content.

I'm not sure how I feel about this manhwa. The first three volumes were cute and fluffy and I loved them but this took a turn towards uncomfortable at times. It's not just the explicit spicy scenes (which were not really my cup of tea) but rather the dynamic between taesong and haebom that felt pushy and coercive.

Hier macht die Story einen kompletten Cut und ist nicht mehr für Jugendliche geeignet. Taeseong und Haebom gehen einen Schritt weiter. Es wird explizit und unzensiert. Auch wenn sie sich in diesem Bereich ausprobieren und hinter verschlossener Tür die Finger nicht voneinander lassen können, geht hier voll die Story flöten. Ich hoffe sehr, dass da in Band 5 eine bessere Balance gefunden wird.
