Through this exquisite collection of drabbles, @author_harshita proves that 100 words are enough to tell a story that lingers in your mind long after you finish the book. Stories of love, loss and longing. Stories that seem familiar, yet not. Stories that take on difficult issues which are normally not spoken about. As in all classic drabbles, the last line really hits the gut.
Do read, though it's likely your coffee will get cold because you forget to sip.

This is a collection of 100-word stories compiled by the author at the time when the pandemic was holding the world in its tenacious grip. The stories are based on various genres – romance, crime, thrill, horror and general fiction.

The thing with micro-stories is – it is challenging to convey the essence of the story in limited number of words. The author not only has aced the challenge, but she has kept up the element of intrigue in every story with an ending that you do not expect. Be it any genre, every story ends on a note that leaves the reader awestruck. Most stories have one or at the most two characters, and the author has justified their presence to perfection.

Some of the stories are centered around social issues like domestic violence, gender-discrimination and prejudice. These stories make a huge and lasting impact and send across their message to the society in a remarkable manner.

100-word stories, as difficult as they are to weave, are equally entertaining and addictive. I kept reading one after another, promising myself every time – ‘just one more story!’.

This is indeed a remarkable collection of stories, and I recommend this book to all those who are looking for short, quick and enticing reads.

This is a short and sweet book that is easy. When I began reading it, it reminded of my college days when I could read something short and sweet on a bus ride. The stories deal with a spectrum of emotions and takes you on a journey of sweetness, bittersweet, sorrow, and even revenge. Stories like The Ring, A Bag of Mangoes, The Hidden Power stay with you long after you have finished reading. Although some stories feel a bit of a cliche, there are hidden gems.

The language is uncomplicated and simple. The lucid narrative keeps you engrossed for pages.

I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is reluctant reader. This book will jumpstart your reading journey.

I was gifted this book by a friend, who knows my love for reading. The author of this happens to be the relative of my friend.

The stories were short and emotional. I am introduced to a new pattern of short stories, and could find some patterns. To create a setting / background, create emotions via a plot and then in most cases, break that expectation with a twist / surprise.

I had fun.
