Another Awesome Jessie Hunt Psychological Suspense
Since I am a super fan of Blake Pierce with Jessie Hunt being one of my favorite series, I can truly say this was a really good read. This had all the drama and suspense it usually would have but it was kicked up a notch with all the intrigue of having three plots and two of them are people coming after her and her sister Hannah and Kat her best friend. The drama and suspense never ends with a Jessie Hunt Suspense Thriller. Highly recommend. Great reading book 📚📖, get it or any Blake Pierce book 📚📖, you won't regret it.
Ok, I was going to rate this one lower, halfway through the book, because I feel like there's nothing new here. Crimes, cops and profilers hurt, stubborn people continuing to get involved in crimes even when they are mentally and physically not ok - Kat, Jessie, others. When is it time to let someone else take over. That's where the FBI came in in this book, and it should have stayed that way.
I know Jessie loves her job. I know she wants to help. But this is getting out of hand. Serious possible brain injuries, more broken bones, being incapacitated, cops having to guard her when they could be doing their jobs, Hannah having to be guarded. Someone else needs to take out the bad guys (and girls) - the ones after Hannah and Jessie and everyone else.
It's book 30. Can we be done with the series? Get rid of the crazies? But I gave it a 4 not because it was believable at all but because the last parts of the book in the hospital - whew! I was on the edge of my seat.
What will happen to Mark? Jessie? Ryan? Will it ever get better? Yahoo for job changes.
The series has been really good, but like every series that tends to stretch too much, it is becoming really repetitive and boring. The perfect end would have been this book without the last useless epilogue. All the bad guys and girls under the bars and all our heroes happy and safe. But no. We have the revival of Andy and the Z operation. Maybe a good way to proceed would have been the killing of Ash Pierce by Hanna end her renewed "blood thirst", maybe becoming a dark vigilante (ok not original at all the same, but better than to copy paste a theme already used 😣😣😣). Also the development of the characters Jessie, Hanna and Kat in 3 naughty little girls had been not that much illuminated. Sincerely i don't know if i will proceed with book 31 but i am tempted not to consider the epilogue and to close here the Jessie Hunt Series.

The last three words in this novel send shivers down my spine! Is it crazy that I have developed ptsd from a 3 word phrase?
🫣😬🥺
Good grief. I cannot believe what Blake but Jessie and others through this time. Geesh!
And sadly, I am this close 🤏 to reading all the books in the series that are already published. In a book or two, I will have to WAIT! To! Find! Out! What! Happens!
😒😳😒🤨
Ugh.
It's ok. It's NOT like I don't have a TBR list I'll NEVER read. 😉
FBI agent Jessie Hunt is assigned to a case where a serial killer is targeting single women who are dating. Jessie must uncover the connection between the victims and the pattern behind the killings in order to stop the murderer. With time running out and more women in danger, Jessie ultimately goes undercover and acts as bait to draw out the killer, placing herself directly in harm’s way and forcing her to question how far she’s willing to go to stop the crimes.
I'm honestly getting to be real tired of Jessie. I get not wanting to be treated like an invalid but not even 24 hours after leaving the hospital she is throwing temper tantrums about it like a 5 year old.
Repeating the same story with mark as we went through with Andy seems crazy: I’ve enjoyed this series and then the epilogue tells me that we’re gonna do this again but with Mark in the mental institution. It makes me not want to finish the series honestly.

This one I did not like. Jessie is annoying..as well as her sister. The narration is not good. Perhaps with Ryan leaving his job, it will get more exiting.
I don't like the narrator. She's terrible at her job. I hate that they've switched narrator's and gave the bad one more books to read. The story was fine. Girl power. The epilogue. ugh.
