When Caleb gets a job as a barman in a club owned by the local mob, he doesn't realise what he is getting into until one night when he gets caught in the crossfire between his employer, John Dancy, and his bitter enemies, the Vanian family.
As Caleb struggles to get away he is rescued by an unlikely ally. After vampire Damian saves him they hide out in a local motel where they spend an intense few hours together. As he gets to know Damian better, Caleb soon comes to realise that he isn't the only one who needs saving...
1.5 Stars* The story feels rushed and jangled. The relationship between Damian and Caleb feels very unrealistic and, again, very rushed. The author should take more time to let the story and their relationship develop. I would not recommend this book unfortunately.
