Simon never realized what was missing from his life. Wealthy, powerful and eligible - he thought he had it all. And then he met her. He fell headlong in love and surrendered himself without thinking twice, with no looking back. She was perfect and he was happy. That is, until gnawing doubts started creeping in and made him question everything he believed about her. Could his love for her survive?
Lauren knew he was the one from the start. She gave in to him without hesitation, without reservation, body and soul. He was strong and would keep her safe from her inner ghosts. But her past haunted her and her world slowly crumbled around her. Could she ever gain back his trust?
Natalie loved him with all her heart and knew that he felt the same. He was the only man who awoke in her everything she imagined love could be. She had allowed him to sweep her off her feet. But he had lied and betrayed her, hurt her so deeply. Could she ever believe him again?
So, I am not much of a romance reader. I do read them from time to time for a change of pace and so this book sat on my kindle for quite some time before I decided to pick it up.
This is also the first time that I am having trouble giving a brief about the plot in fear that I might spoil it for others. Yeah, it is surprising indeed as romances are usually pretty straightforward and predictable. As a reader, I usually know what to expect from a romance book just by reading the blurb. Not so much so in this one. So, taking cue from the actual blurb of the book, all I will say about this book is that it is romantic and it is sexy!
I liked the lead characters for most part. I had a love/hate relationship with Simon. If I had met such a person in real life, I would have probably run in the opposite direction the moment I met him and would have missed out on knowing him. I also liked some of the additional characters in the book. They contributed much to the story and overall the character development in the book was probably its biggest asset. The relationship in the book was surprising me what with the constant ups and downs because of sheer stubbornness of both parties and the misunderstandings.
The author’s writing style is simple while maintaining a level of maturity in it. The detailed narration style was engaging. I would have probably preferred a faster pace, but it doesn’t really drag at any point. The book is quite good considering the fact that this is the author’s debut novel and I hope that she turns this into a series by telling the stories of some of the other characters that appeared in this novel. They really deserve their own books.
I was honored to receive an ARC of Images from the author, Bing Miranda for an honest review. I struggle to find the apt words to describe Ms. Miranda’s quality of writing since I feel superb falls so very short. The writing is concise and her descriptions throughout the book is excellent; never too much to tire out the reader, yet enough where you felt you were right there in the scene. I felt Simon was, at times, a bit controlling and protective of Lauren but I came to understand the reasons as I read further into the book. The secondary characters are terrific, well developed and real; I especially loved Madeline. Although this is the author’s first publication, I do so hope she continues to publish more for I am a fan of her style of writing already. Hands down, Images is a five star book. My kudos to the author, Bing Miranda for an riveting and wonderful story.
Wow! Such a sensual yet overwhelming (in a good way of course) book. Page one to the very last page had me hooked. I was so enthralled in this book and I didn't want to put it down. I can't express just how well written this book was. Generally, I shy away from the typical romance book, but let me assure you that this was far from it. This had sass, utterly, intrigue and overall love in it. Lauren/Natalie was very aptly written. I felt her through me and just found myself gushing for her. Simon, lord have mercy sex on two legs Simon, was likely one of the best male leads I've read in a long time. These two are perfect for each other. Of course,I've isn't always blunt. With some serious misunderstandings, stubbornness and overall frustrations, they find each other. Please know that this isn't all cut and dry. I found myself often wondering OMG what next? Miranda Bing is sheer genius when it comes to writing. I adored the struggle of the happily ever after. I do hope she continues to write more as I have added this book to my top favorite reads of the year. It's such a relief to finally have a romance novel without all the fluff and no stuff. Miranda brought her literary A game with this book. Her secondary characters enchanted me and I really wold love a follow up to Kelly in hopes that she too finds love. I give this 5 stars!
WOWWW!! From the very first page I was hooked and could not put this book down till the very end and even then....I still wanted more.
Simon....All I can say is HOLLLLY SWOON!! He will totally steal your heart!!
"I fell in love with you the very minute I met you, I told you before that I was sweeping you off your feet but the truth is, you swept me off mine. I love you. I adore you. I knew that right from the start. You have me under your spell and I am lost without you."
Between the awesome characters, misunderstandings, heartbreak, twists and the total HOTTNESS you will be quickly turning those pages devouring and loving every second.

Images is a well written, captivating novel. Simon will steal your heart because of his swoon worthiness, protectiveness, and even when he is a little overbearing. You will fall in love with Lauren/Natalie. There are twist and turns, steamy scenes, trials, misunderstandings, and yet, there is love. Everything is very well detailed, the characters are well developed. The secondary characters were fantastic, especially Madeline. You'll want to one click this one!
Received an advanced copy for my honest review for Fallen for Books
Good story line. Who doesn't love a love story with amnesia in it? You never know where the story will take you. And that's exactly what happened. Great character development, good story telling.
