This book was written in 2003 with an eye toward possible runs by Hillary Clinton for president in 2004 or 2008, so it’s a bit out-of-date at times, but the bottom line is the same: this is a ruthless person whose scandals (not those of her husband; HER scandals) should disqualify her for any public office – and that was before the more recent breeches of security with her private email server, the mess made at Benghazi by her mishandling of security in a forward area, and her other missteps as secretary of state in the first Obama term.

The basic thing I took away from the book was this: even if you are in ideological agreement with her, she’s a dishonest, unethical, power-hungry elitist who will stop at nothing to rule over us.

I fail to understand why anyone would support putting this woman in charge of anything important. Character means something and makes all the difference.

This book brought back reams of unpleasant memories of endlessly corrupt and even childish behavior from the two ruthless narcissists that soiled the White House in the 1990's.

The author confirmed the accuracy of my memories and gave me plentiful information besides. The book is engaging and uses humor in folksy and biting ways.

I would like every American to read this book before November 2016.

Pure trash. I got this book a long time ago wanting an unbiased book because the jury has always been out for me and my opinions of the Clintons. What I got is a dude with a rather larger branch up his rear spewing biased opinions. When I started to look for another biography I was slaughtered with ebooks spewing conspiracies… very disappointing when I know that any books by the Clinton’s themselves will be just as biased the other direction. Putting them on my try again in another decade list.

I read this after Donald Trump became president so this is old news. There's just a point when you tire of reading this woman's scandals, and lies, and corruption. For her to be walking around as a free woman can only be contributed to the fact that she sold her soul to the devil...no other explanation.

A conservative diatribe against Hillary written in 2003. I read this book in 2020, and it was an interesting forecast on how she might proceed to become President. Though I am not a Trump advocate, I do believe had she become President instead, it would have been worse for the country.

As usual with books the arch-conservative and main man at The American Spectator, this not a balanced review of Mrs. Clinton. I picked it up during her attempt to win the Democratic primaries that Obama took, so it is dated, too. It is funny to read of Giuliani and Spitzer as being her possible nemeses in the Democratic Party. However, as analysis of her methods and part biography, it makes for interesting reading. With the slanted view aside, it adds foundation for my belief we dodged a bullet not getting her as President. Maybe not a Palin-sized bullet, but a bullet nonetheless.

This book was a fascinating look into the world of politics in spite of (or because of?) its obvious slant. I was thankful that I had already listened to HC's _Living History_ since it was so heavily referenced.

In a side note, this book contains many SAT words.
