Rebecca Chance was born in Hampstead to international art dealer parents, and grew up in the exclusive millionaire’s row surroundings of London’s St John’s Wood. Tiring of her cushioned, privileged existence, she ran away to Tuscany to live a wild bohemian life on a wine-making estate, where she lived in a 14th century villa in a Chianti vineyard, partying with artists, learning Italian, and picking grapes. But big city life was calling her, and after staying in Rome and Porto Ercole, she moved to Manhattan, lured by the glamorous single-girl existence and nonstop nightlife. She spent a decade living the Sex and The City dream in SoHo, equally at home in an uptown penthouse on Fifth Avenue overlooking the Metropolitan Museum, or downtown dancing on the bar of the Coyote Ugly for kicks. Eventually, a handsome American husband in tow, she moved back to London to settle down (as much as she can) and finally fictionalize some of her most exciting and glamorous experiences into her bestselling blockbuster novels.
Rebecca’s interests include trapeze, pole-dancing, watching "America’s Next Top Model", and cocktail-drinking.

Another gorgeous cover by the author and another mystery, how could I not read this. By now, I know the author's writing style and what to expect and I was still able to enjoy the book. Although this isn't high on mystery but it's still pretty mysterious and enjoyable.

Of course, this gave me Princess Diana vibes. Belinda's character was based on Princess Diana save for faking her own death. This is all about the Royal family and of course in true Rebecca Chance style full of scandal, raunchy sex, some mystery and a lot of plotting and scheming by the characters.

Even though the ending didn't surprise me as much as other Rebecca Chance books, it still made a good read. It is fast-paced but in the middle did drag a bit, good writing though. Again, I didn't like any of the characters but for me I think, that's what makes this author's books for me. Non-likable characters but a good story and enjoyable writing is what I have come to like about Rebecca Chance's books.

I am a HUGE fan of Rebecca Chance, and I’ve read and loved all of her other novels, and so when I heard that she was releasing Killer Queens, I was beyond excited. It finally arrived through the door and I was so excited I admit I practically jumped with happiness! Then in a manner that Rebecca Chance herself would be proud of, I fixed myself a drink, and sat down to eagerly start her latest release!

I LOVED Killer Queens – it was everything I hoped it would be and more! I sat down during the day to read it and I was so hooked by the storyline that i was sat up in bed late into the night racing through the ages desperate to get to the next part.

I thoroughly enjoyed the theme of royalty that ran through this book – I absolutely love anything to do with the Royal family here and I’ve always loved the idea of princes and princesses (when I was younger I desperately wanted to be a princess!) so I was positively delighted that Rebecca had chosen to write about this…it was like a fantastic, sizzling version of a grown-up fairytale! Whilst reading I became so involved with the characters, I really felt as though I knew them on a personal level and Rebecca’s writing is so realistic that I honestly felt as though I was in on the secrets of what went on within Royal circles!

I’m going to put it out here…this is a true bonkbuster. It is scandalous, it is racy, and it is sexy! And I mean REALLY sexy, not the type of book where the sexy scenes are implied, but this is very full-on. The scenes were brilliant and it is everything you could want in a book – at no point did I feel that this was lacking in any way, Rebecca has really hit the mark with this one and if I’m honest it really blew me away.

There is so much to delve into in Killer Queens – there are some truly fabulous leading ladies, I especially loved Lori and Chloe, they were my favourites. There is not only the subject of Royalty that is explored, but also love, scandal, secrets, sex and more! I desperately want to write everything but I don’t want to give anything away. Killer Queens made me laugh, it surprised me and it had me gripped to the pages. A word of warning, make sure you have supplies of drinks and chocolate first because once you start reading you won’t want to leave this book for anything else.

Killer Queens is definitely Rebecca’s BEST novel so far…it comes in with a bang and trust me, this is a book that will take you on a thrilling ride and will leave you both breathless and exhilarated. Make sure you buy a copy as this is your must read book for the summer – You won’t be able to put this down!

A wild and rollicking ride, as ever with Rebecca Chance bonkbusters, full of glamour, action, twists and turns, and lots of sex involving lots of diverse, well-drawn characters. What's not to love! This book has a bold and unusual angle though, its setting is royalty(UK, and Europe) hence even more glamour and exotic locations and experiences we can only enjoy vicariously. Cleverly, Rebecca has created a kind of alternate reality, with a royal family different, yet in so many ways strangely reminiscent, of our own... There is danger, especially to the women who get drawn into royal families by marriage or the prospect of it, so the glamour is not just aspirational but cautionary! I don't want to describe the story, lots of reviewers have done that and I don't want to risk spoilers, but just to add that Rebecca Chance's books are the only bonkbusters I read - not only is the sex full-on, erotic, warm-hearted and funny by turns, but the writing is so good, and that's what makes them special for me. I have to say I'm puzzled by reviewers who find the sex a bit much or too explicit: the term 'bonkbuster' kind of tells you what to expect! Good sex writing is rare, sadly, so these books with their many joyful, fun, adventurous sex scenes, which you can just tell she relished writing, are truly exceptional. She always creates some characters who are the heart of the books, people you can related to, and root for, which adds depth and suspense.

Princess Belinda *cough*Diana*cough* faked her death years ago to escape a dangerous plot against her. Now her son Hugh *cough*William*cough* is marrying commoner Chloe *cough*Kate*cough*. American Olympian Lori *cough*Charlene*cough* on the other hand has been courted by the Prince of a small European country.

First I think I should start by saying, I didn't realise this was a bonkbuster, and if I had known, I confess, I probably wouldn't have read it. I picked it up cos it was cheap and cheerful in Tescos for a few quid.

Unfortunately the reason I don't read them is that the formula is very predictable and lots of badly written sex and overuse of the word 'cock' and impending 'threats' to move along the plot that hardly ever materialise.

I was really disappointed that I didn't enjoy this book as I was really looking forward to reading it. I'd read many reviews of this authors books and thought it was time to delve in and join the elite and what better then to start on her newest novel but unfortunately I didn't like it. I like a book that has me gripped from the start and that I can't put down but with this story I just plodded along hoping that something exciting would happen. I think 50% of this book was the authors spin on the English royal family - Hugo & Chloe (William & Kate) Toby (Harry) & Belinda (Diana) where there are many similarities.
Half way through the book (Kindle version) where she was talking about Toby it actually said 'Harry' and not Toby !! Sorry but this story was just not gripping enough for me and was a real chore to plough through it.

Scandals, schemes and lots of saucy scenes, Killer Queens shows royalty like you've never seen them before...
This was a fabulous fun read. I'd been looking forward to reading Killer Queens since its release as I have enjoyed Rebecca Chance's earlier books. As usual there's plenty of glitz, glamour & sexy scandal, I loved the story lines and couldn't help but draw comparisons with our own royal family. If you like an entertaining bonkbuster of a read, I would recommend this or any other Rebecca Chance book.

We follow the lives of Chloe; commoner about to marry the second in line to the British throne - Prince Hugo. As much as she loves Hugo (which is an awful lot) she is also beginning to feel downtrodden by the downright bitchiness of his sister, Sophie, and the usual royal hangers on in the gratin of society (well bred and badly behaved) who make awful names up for her that the press indulge in.
Then there is Lori; Olympic bronze medal winner at London 2012 and all round American beauty. Tall, blonde, beautiful and 'good breeding stock' according to the Dowager Queen of Herzoslovakia...just perfect for her son, King Joachim. Swept along in a whirlwind relationship (with not so much of the relations) she is courted by the idea of being a Queen in a picturesque country full of castles and jewels. She is the perfect example of digging yourself in a hole without a spade.
And Princess Belinda, Prince Hugo's mother. She 'died' in a tragic skiiing accident twenty years ago in an attempt to save her life from the royal family who were plotting her own death. She flees to Morocco with her lover and has to stay incognito and completely cut off from her children who she watched grieve for her. She feels desperate now, watching Prince Hugo and Chloe on the verge of marriage and is willing to risk it all to see them once more.

I do love the escapism you are treated to when reading a Rebecca Chance novel, the glamour and glitz, and shenanigans that are so far removed from the everyday drudge...and boy, there are LOTS of shenanigans in this book!

It does feel throughout the book that you are totally mixing in royal circles and completely privy to all the gossip that goes there, and now I'm left wondering just how much of that we actually miss out on!

There are plenty of strong, scheming women in this book. My favourite of the princesses is Lori. I really felt for her on the tide she was swept along on, and loved the alliance that formed towards the end of the book. I also loved the character of Lady Margaret, so strong and so outspoken, just what every royal circle needs! Of the dishy males, Attila has to be my hero! Read the book...you'll see why.

There are also real nods to humour throughout - the opening scene is with Nigel Slyme - paparazzi...you can't fault that name. Also look out for Attila's surname, might just be me but it made me chuckle!

There really is a great storyline along with all the bonking, but beware - if you're easily offended this really is one to avoid. It is *very* racy, the sex may as well be on the kitchen table in front of you and not skirted round as with classic romance novels...not one to lend your mother (at least NOT in my case!)

I loved the ending, I literally didn't want it to end as with all her novels as it really is so good and well written.

Why you will love this:
Rebecca Chance is back again with another sizzling bonkbuster! I am a massive fan of Rebecca Chance's books, really and last year was an amazing year for her, releasing not one, but two dazzling books. How does she do it? I often wonder. Having read a few of her books, I think Killer Queens is her best yet!

Killer Queens follows the life of three ladies, all somehow, are connected to royalty. Lori, an gorgeous Amazonian Olympic medallist is about to wed Prince Jaochim of a small but wealthy European state, but while she's being swept off her feet, what are his true motives? Belinda, former princess to the British Royalty, had to fake her own death to save herself from a bad marriage, is adamant to see her son, Hugo marry the love of his life, but would she risk everything for that? And lastly, Chloe, fiancée to Prince Hugo, who has to battle valiantly against the paparazzi, to appear as the perfect English Rose, but how far would she sacrifice herself to be the public's queen?

I can't stop thinking about this book, even after I've finished it! It has stuck with me because I loved how Rebecca Chance described royalty - glamorous and majestic. Of course, I did have a lot of fun, lusting over the male characters in this explosive bonkbuster! I can't think of any fault in Rebecca Chance's books and Killer Queens is another runaway success!

I think the characters were very well-written! Every one of them had a story and they were all connected, somehow or rather. I really warmed up to every one of them, the heroines, that is. I adored Chloe the most! She's the fiancée of the dashing Prince Hugo! Oh my! I fancied the pants off him, I think he's the Prince Charming for every girl (and guy).

What's a Rebecca Chance bonkbuster without steamy sex scenes? Oh dear God. They were brilliant! I loved them. And some were rather funny, to be honest. The plots of every heroine were blended in perfectly with the story. Rebecca Chance writes with such flair and polish, I didn't want the book to end. All 500 pages of sheer pleasure! I was so tempted to find myself a royal prince to play bananas with! *wink*

Verdict:
Killer Queens, a dazzling summer read which will leave you wanting more. The queen of bonkbuster does it again! Another smashing winner as it definitely satisfied my guilty pleasure for a book filled with sizzling hot men and exotic holiday destinations, also filled with royal schemes and lots of delicious, saucy bits! I can't recommend it highly enough. Clearly, you'd have to stop yourself from Googling pictures of handsome princes, which I did. Sorry. Meep.

Twenty years ago, fearing for her life, Princess Belinda faked her own death, leaving behind her two children, Prince Hugo and Princess Sophie. Nobody could know that she was still alive, so Belinda has hidden away with her lover, Rahim, watching her children grow from a distance via newspaper reports and articles.

Now grown, Prince Hugo is about to marry. His fiancee Chloe doesn't really fit in with royalty and the upper class but she loves Hugo too much to let him go, despite her future sister-in-law's efforts.

Olympic medallist Lori also doesn't fit in with royalty. After growing up in a small New York State town, she made it into the American volleyball Olympic team. After one of her games, she meets VIP spectator Joachim, the ruling King of Herzoslovakia. Joachim is charmingly old fashioned and sweeps Lori off her feet before proposing to her after a magical whirlwind romance. Lori can't wait to marry Joachim and become queen of the nation that has taken her under its wing, to start a family with her husband and produce beautiful heirs. But Lori soon realises that marrying King Joachim may not be as wonderful as the fairy tales make out.

I'd been looking forward to reading Killer Queens as I loved Rebecca Chance's Killer Heels and Bad Angels last year and I wasn't disappointed. It took me a little while to get into the book as I was introduced to all the characters but I was soon hooked. The book is full of big characters, from straight-talking Lauren (who was my favourite character), to the intimidating Prince Oliver and the wild-child antics of Princess Sophie and her cousin, Toby. I loved the relationship between Chloe and Hugo, which, despite Hugo being third in line to throne, was very down to earth and honest. Chloe has grown up in a secure, loving family and it was nice to see Hugo slotting into their life with such ease. I adored Chloe's parents, who I thought were hilarious, and would have liked to have seen a bit of more of them in the book.

Contrasting with Hugo and Chloe's easy relationship is Lori and Joachim, whose relationship mirrors Belinda and Prince Oliver's troubled marriage much more. Lori finds it difficult to fit into Joachim's life, which is the complete opposite to her own small-town lifestyle and I felt for her as she struggles with the changes.

I thought Killer Queens was a fantastic book, full of wit and Rebecca Chance's usual naughtiness and I was sorry to have to say goodbye to the wonderful characters.

I only read my first book by Rebecca Chance last year but I enjoyed it so much I have been working my way through all her books, I can’t believe what I have been missing out on!

Killer Queens is Rebecca’s new release and one I was not completely sure of as I am not one who has any interest in the Royals but I was hoping the authors writing style would shine through and grab my attention and get me hooked!

The three main ladies in this book are all very different but all are facing or have faced the same situation. Each of the characters were well developed making them easy to tell apart and a joy to read, I didn’t even have a favourite between these Choe, Lori and Belinda as they were all wonderful in their own way, Belinda because she was so caring and protective, Chloe because she was from lower class and was your average girl and yet found herself marrying into royalty but yet not letting it change her personality other than the problematic beauty regimes! Lori was a strong character who would not turn a blind eye to things when she was not happy with things. As with the beginning of all Rebecca Chance books it does take a little while to be introduced to each character and begin to establish who is who and how they will be connected but it is all worth the wait believe me.

If you are looking for a light breezy read then please don’t look here! This is full on steamy sauciness with a big helping of scandal thrown in to keep you hooked! The hot sexy scenes in this book is not brushed upon it is a full on bonkbuster, but it is in fitting with the storyline so it is appropriate ( or so I keep telling myself hehe!)

I think this could possibly be my favourite book by Rebecca Chance, it took a subject matter that is not of interest to me and yet turned it around and sparked my interest. This book has a great storyline, a small helping of suspense, a touch of humour, and an enormous helping of steamy scenes, and not forgetting fabulous characters. An easy 5* rating for me as I couldn't put it down!

I was sceptical at first, as I’m not into kings and queens and princesses and riches and all that. But this turned out to be a fun read. Two women, one English and one American, will be marrying into royalty within the same year. Chloe is a commoner, a girl with an office job who happens to meet the heir to the British throne, Hugo, and they fall in love. Five years later, they decide to get married and prepare for the big day.

Belinda is Hugo’s mother, who faked her own death and has been living in Morocco with her Middle Eastern boyfriend. She hasn’t seen Hugo and her daughter Sophie for twenty years, but now with the wedding coming up, she wants to see what Hugo’s fiancée is like and get to better know her children. She’s also noticed something fishy about the impending wedding of Lori, an American athlete, who is to marry King Joachim of Herzoslovakia.

The book is full of intrigues, hopes and doubts, and quite a bit of sex, too. The story is set out well, and slowly leads to a conclusion that suits everyone involved. An easy, fast read, but confidently written, never over the top. I loved following the preparations (and weddings) of these would-be queens and the dead princess who comes to the rescue

One of my ultimate favourite books of Rebecca Chance is this little story about a should be dead former princess of Wales, a commoner becoming a princess and Olympic athlete becoming a queen.

This is a book that I couldn't put down and played on my love of royalty. I fell in love with Chloe, a gorgeous normal girl who is destined to become a member of the British royal family but the other characters are great to read and to follow.

It's a prefect summer read or one for a winter night curled up as you drifted off into the world of royalty and the naughty things they will do the protect themselves and the monarchy.

A book to read over and over again. Now I'm off to read Killer Affair, her new book and already I love Caroline.

Absolutely loved this book and would recommend as a fabulous beach read or to spice up the winter nights! Imagine marrying a King? What would your life be like? What would your relationship be like? Lori is about to marry her Prince Charming (actually a king) and Chlow is about to bag herself a prince. Belinda has been there, done that and has her own experience to pass on to the new Princesses. An absolute bonkbuster! Really enjoyed it.

That was just horrible.

I don’t know which was worse the constant brand name dropping or the not so subtle punch-you-in-the-face-kind of sex scenes.

Can’t call this literature.
Shame that you can’t rate it with a minus star.

Scandals, schemes and lots of saucy scenes, Killer Queens shows royalty like you've never seen them before...

The novel centers on three women who married or about to marry members of royal families; commoner Chloe is engaged to Prince Hugo of the United Kingdom, American Olympic athlete Lori is soon to be married to King Joachim of Herzoslovakia, and Belinda married and divorced Prince Oliver, Hugo's father, before she died in a skiing accident twenty years ago.

While the promise of marrying into such important families and lavish lifestyles sounds like a fairy tale, for each of these women it is anything but. Chloe while genuinely loved by Hugo does not fit into his world and his sister Sophie is always happy to make Chloe's life miserable by feeding the press awful nicknames and generally being a royal bitch. While Lori seems liked by the family of her husband-to-be there are atrocious rumours going around about King Joachim's hobbies that makes the reader very suspicious of anything he promises his rather naive fiancée. And Belinda, well, her marriage to Prince Oliver was such a fiasco that people now remember her as a very confused woman who tragically died before she had a chance to see her children grow up.

Each of the characters in the novel is fantastic in their own right but I particularly enjoyed the storyline of Chloe and Hugo and the people surrounding them. Hugo's sister Sophie and cousin Toby are especially delicious to read about as they get mixed up in one outrageous situation after another and just when you think it can't get worse, of course it does. CCTV footage of a party in Ibiza, described into detail by author Rebecca Chance, is a particular highlight. And the down to earth Lauren, Chloe's best friend and lady-in-waiting, provides an entertaining commentary to the royals' escapades.

What I also loved about the British story arch is that it isn't too farfetched to imagine there may be a hint of truth underneath it all. Sure, it's clear that a lot of the more eccentric situations the characters get caught up in have been exaggerated but it also makes you think, "what if..."? And nearly everyone involved, from the most prominent members of the royal family to the lowly staff at Buckingham Palace, is implicated in the intricate schemes and shocking lies. They're more absurd than the average Joe can possibly concoct and watching it all unfold as an outsider is pretty darn hilarious.

Rebecca Chance novels are incredibly addictive. Ever since I first read one of her bonkbusters a few years ago I have been hooked and each new book just gets better and better with her latest being my favourite thus far. Loving it so much I raced through the pages but as soon as I got to the halfway mark I tried to slow down my reading pace as I simply did not want it to end. The novel is not just deliciously sexy scenes and insane scheming plots either, there is a proper good story as well and I promise you that once you dig in, you don't want it to end either!

I mean, who doesn't want to read about cunning royalty getting entangled in the most outrageous scandals? My point exactly.

The story follows the story of three women, Belinda, Lori and Chloe.

Belinda, former Queen of Britain, now self-exiled in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco. Pain caused by a secret that wasn’t even her own forced her to go to the most drastic extremes and is now harbouring her own extreme secret. What it all comes down to, is the opportunity to see her grown family, and meet their grown up selves, and when she sees her former self in someone else about to make the same mistakes as she did in a previous life, she has a decision to make. Risk it all or watch her story play on repeat?

Lori, Olympic champion has just became the love interest of the King of a small European tax haven and with her future set to look Queen-like she begins to feel daunted the prospect of it all. Her handsome King seems perfect, high morals, loving, a passion for his country. But that might not be all. When Lori is assigned security detail the extent of the royal family’s willingness to produce an heir and a spare becomes quite apparent.

Chloe, hard-working, down to earth girlfriend of Prince Hugo of Britain is tired of being treated like something on the bottom of Princess Sophie’s shoe. Delivering an ultimatum which sees her become engaged to Prince Hugo, Chloe is now even more under the scrutinising eye of the press - what she wears, what she does, who she hangs out with. She’s feeling the pressure, especially when the Royal’s around about her seemingly don’t know how to behave!

This is the first book by Rebecca Chance that I’ve read. I enjoyed it, and could definitely recommend it, however I’m pretty sure if you look up the definition of bonkbuster in a dictionary, you will find a picture of this book and a reference to Ms Chance!

If you’ve ever wondered what goes on behind the closed doors of the Royal families across the world, then, this probably isn’t exactly it, but it will fuel your imagination. Rebecca has written about a few different families in this book, sometimes it is easy to spot who her inspiration for some of the characters were, especially a certain ginger haired Prince!

Each character was a queen or is about to be a queen, I liked how each of them had this one main thing in common but how each of their situations were different. Forgetting the fact that they are all royal, each of the women have easily identifiable traits that you can recognise within yourself making this an easy read where the characters are easy to like. The supporting characters are really well developed, complimenting the main characters, showing their strength and individuality.

There is no escaping that this book is full of lavish, luxury homes, holidays and wardrobes, but it is also full of raunchy love scenes. Don’t let this put you off though, the story whips along at a fast pace with twists, turns and killer queens that will keep you turning pages to the very end.

Just a matter of a few days ago, England's future King was born in the United Kingdom. Maybe this, with a combination of Rebecca Chance's skill as an author makes this in my opinion the best book she has written to date. With the title Killer Queen's the royalty theme comes as no big surprise. Lori, Belinda and Chloe are the main characters set in RC's latest `Bonkbuster'.

Belinda was the most loved princess in the world, but was forced to stage her own death and live abroad with her lover having no contact with her children. Lori is an American Olympic winner and falls for the charms of Joachim meaning she is set to be the next queen of Herzoslovakia. Lastly, there is Chloe who is Prince Hugo's fiancé and learning quickly what it takes to become a princess. Chloe and Lori were wonderful characters who I really liked from the start; however Belinda comes into play at a more sedate pace, later on in the book. The story itself grabbed my attention from around chapter 2 and pretty much didn't let me go until the very last page.

From the get-go there is an abundance of sex, not just your average "the lights were dimmed as they made love" kind of sex; but graphic kind of sex. In addition, we see every type of scandal possible it seems, secret weddings, runaway brides, illicit affairs and death plots to name a few. For once I really don't want to go over the storyline, if you want that just read the synopsis. What I will tell you is that Killer Queens is by far the best book Chance has produced. I read it in 2 straight sittings and it had me laughing, gasping in shock, and (at times) blushing like a teenager (hey, you try reading some of the sex scenes in this book, with commuters reading over your shoulder!).

I felt like I was watching a royal version of Big Brother whilst reading this and found that I just couldn't stop reading. I have read all but one of Rebecca Chance's books and am certainly not the shy retiring type. What I will say is that one particular sexual preference in the book has me thinking "what the hell" and then heartily laughing my head off. All I can say is that I will not feel the same about banana's for a few weeks after reading this! The story had so much going on that I was flipping wildly between wanting to read more about one character, to wishing I was reading about another, I just couldn't get enough of it.

Killer Queens is everything a good Bonkbuster should be, and more! There is plenty of scandal, sex, glamour and a good dose of drama. It's an absolute must read and no holiday suitcase is complete without a copy of this. If you haven't already got your copy, I suggest you get your Pre-Order in now!

I am so shocked I have never ever read a Rebecca Chance book before until now, Yes I know hang my head in shame :( lol! What a fantastic bonk-buster read 2013, will sure to catch up with all her other books now.

we meet three women powerful and have everything going on in their lives, Chloe fiance to Hugo soon to be Prince & Princess of Cambridge.
Belinda is mother to Hugo & Sophie, Used to be Queen but faked her own death to get away from her life and protect her children, but now misses her two children and will do anything to be reunited with them once again.
Lori an Olympic athlete who has fallen heads over heels in love in wit Prince Jaochim of a very wealthy European state. All three women have different lives but are all going through the same situations, I loved that you can easy warm to the characters as each chapter was one of the three women and you got to know the women a lot in the first couple of chapters. I did actually feel quite sorry for them in a way.

I loved the royalty story line it had in the book, I actually kept picturing Duke William & Duchess Kate as Prince Hugo & Princess Chloe. Belinda reminded me of Princess Diana although she isn't around anymore. I enjoyed this book so much, for my first time reading a book by Rebecca Chance I Loved it!

It is a superb read and for readers who have never read are going to love this book, It is definitely one not to miss this summer! Rebecca chance does write superb Bonk-busters books and you cannot miss out with Killer Queens but yes it is racy with lots of sex scenes but you end up being so hooked in the chapters that you will find your self all day/night reading Killer Queens until the very end.

A must bonk-buster summer read 2013!!

I read this book as quicky as I could, from the moment I got it. I have read several of Rebecca Chance's previous novels and I was hoping this would be as good as the others and I wasn't disappointed! The novel centres on three women - Belinda who was married to a King and faked her own death, Lori who marries King of Herzoslovakia and Chloe who is engaged to Prince Toby. Each woman has her own problems to deal with.
Belinda is holed up in paradise with her lover after discovering her husbands infidelity, with another man! After discovering this secret she had to escape several attempts on her life! Now her son is about to marry and she wants to be part of it!
Then there is athletic Lori who is watched by the King and courted in a whirlwind romance, she readily accepts his proposal thinking it is a love match made in Heaven, events and her Mother in Law to be, the dowager take over controlling her every move. Even an attempt to escape is thwarted and the marriage takes place, the truth of the matter is only recognised by Belinda who can see the same things happening to Lori as happened to her- movements dictated, picked to be good breeding stock and drugs used to ensure what the dowager wants the dowager gets! On honeymoon Lori realises the sad truth and is lucky to have her bodyguard Akilla to fall into.
Then there is Chloe, relentlessly bullied by the press and more upmarket set. She tried hard to fit in but seen as a social climber and ridiculed my many she comes into her own as the wedding approaches. She proves with the help of her best friend to be media savvy, picking British designers and sorting out messes others have got themselves into. Hers is the only real love match.
The women find themselves thrown together as Belinda determines to save Lori from a loveless marriage where she is just breeding stock, and at the same time returns to London to see her children. At turns amusing, with enough sex to keep most happy without it intruding into the narrative, and showing us real women even when elevated into the realms of royalty this is perfect summer reading!

Firstly I’d like to thank ed pr for sending me this book to read and give an honest review. I love books by this author so I couldn’t wait to see where I would be taken this time!

I was quickly pulled into the crazy world of royalty; each of the Princesses/Queens brought something different to the storyline and captured my interest with their dramas. Belinda’s story began by taking me back twenty years with the fascinating tale of how she faked her own death. I was interested to see how events in the present day would affect her. I had a variety of reactions with Lori, one minute I felt sorry for her and the next irritated by her actions – I just had to yell at the book a couple of times when I thought she should have made better choices. Chloe was my favourite character along with her best friend Lauren, they made such a fantastic comedy duo. There was a hilarious moment involving the two friends that had me giggling uncontrollably – just look out for the scene where they watch some CCTV footage (I will say no more)!

Certain characters strongly reminded me of our own royal family and I couldn’t help but picture them as I read the book. My imagination was teased with thoughts of royalty and their lavish lives but I was also shown the less glamorous side – some of the dramatic twists were simply shocking! There was a particular twist towards the end that I just hadn’t seen coming, I loved it!

As always with this author’s books there was plenty of sexual scenes and strong language so if you are likely to be offended by this then it may not be a book for you. I thought that these scenes were well written and none of them felt out-of-place so in my opinion they were an important part of the storyline. I will just say though that I don’t think I’ll ever look at a banana in quite the same way again :D .

This was a fun and feisty read with plenty of action to keep you hooked, a classic Rebecca Chance sizzler!

This isn't just a beach read, it's an anytime read. I don't want to give any spoilers or do the 'This tells the story of...' review as the blurb tells you what this is about and the blurb hooks you right in. I couldn't help draw comparisons with our own royal family and totally pictured the dashingly handsome and party animal 'Tobes' as a certain party prince that we know and love. Chloe and Prince Hugo were my favourite characters and I couldn't wait for their nuptials. Chloe's friend Lauren is a great supporting character and had some great lines. I also wondered how the author was going to get Queen Lori and Belinda out of the pickles they find themselves in and was more than happy with how it worked out. I liked how I changed my opinions on certain characters, particularly Princess Sophie. Now the sex ( which I know some people think there was too much of, naming no names Ms Love) or 6 pages for an orgy is too much ( how do you decide how many pages is enough?? ) but for me, I loved it. it's a bonkbuster so I expecting some busting bonking. Rebecca writes what a lot of authors are afraid to write and she owns it!! It's fun, raunchy, hot sex and not repetitive. I will never look at a banana or candle in the same way. Rebecca rocks

This is a hilarious ‘bonkbuster’ inspired by the Royal Weddings of 2011. Couple number one are Chloe and Hugo, third in line to the British Throne, who are constantly under scrutiny from the British Media. Hugo is the son of the “late” Princess Belinda and Prince Oliver. As the story unfolds we are show at the problems in Oliver & Belinda’s marriage are all Oliver’s fault, and Belinda needed to disappear. After Hugo and Chloe get engaged their lives are altered by the return of his mother.
In Europe an American beach Volleyball bronze medalist, Lori, meets King Joachim of Herzoslovakian and following a whirlwind courtship they wed. Before the wedding Lori starts to discover that things aren’t quite wonderful in the palace, when her future mother-in-law keeps her calm with ‘herbal medication’

Rebecca Chase is like the modern Jackie Collins

This is a book for adults

As this is the first Rebecca Chance Novel I've read & I will certainly be buying and reading more of her novels.

I loved the story lines and how they all entwined with each other, but I also love that they started off as separate entities too.

This type of book is not something I would usually read, but I have now changed my outlook on the types of novels I like to read. I only came across this by sheer chance and thought I'd give it a go, and I'm glad I did.

GTG as I'm going to scout the book shelves and Amazon for more Rebecca Chance books. See you all there. xox

When I read the blurb for this book I thought that I'd like to give it a read... I have to say, it is INCREDIBLY DULL! I found myself flipping through entire chapters waiting for Chloe's part of the story... Lori's story was frightfully boring, and I unfortunately have to say this is the first and LAST Rebecca Chance book I will be reading.......... However, looking at some of the reviews it seems that everyone else seems to like it.
