I still absolutely love the series. Though Sarwin's seemingly picture perfect life is literally turned upside down in this installment. I didn't think that one person could suffer so much, but boy was I wrong. I am emotionally invested in these characters, but there were certain things I just could not grasp.

I couldn't understand why Sarwin stood by War's side after his betrayal. The fact that Sarwin helped cover up his actions did not sit well with me at all. War has gone off the deep end! It is unnerving to see his façade crumble; War becoming a different person. I was a little taken aback by the revelation of his Dissociative Identity Disorder).

With that being said, I felt a little emotionally drained after reading this book. I felt so much for Sarwin, caged even, and wanted for her to desperately remedy the situation. While reading the ending I felt my heart drop (readers will now what I mean, there is a particular scene). I'm hopeful and eager to see what lies ahead for Sarwin. She made a brave decision, and I hope everything goes well.

As usual A.J. delivers. Perfect amount of happiness heartache cheating and love. Absolutely in love with the characters and story line. Great read AJ can't wait for more!!!!
