This just was not a very useful book for me. Maybe it is helpful for someone else but it seemed much more to be a "how I write my poems, now listen to me read them." This was disappointing because we have Many things in common so I hoped I'd get a lot from it.

I felt I gained much more from the now nearly 1/4 century old book "handbook of poetic forms" (which is still on my shelf).
