Don't Ever Punch A Rock Star: A Collection of Hate Mail and Other Crazy Rumors

Rate this book
When the clip of Danny’s first round KO of Danzig hit YouTube, his fate was sealed. The hate mail came pouring in. Emails, message boards, comment sections, and, eventually, social media. So much so that Danny got an entire book just from the reactions his punch heard round the punk rock world garnered. People were livid and they did not hesitate to voice their displeasure with Danny. Daily barrages of badly spelled, grammatically challenged emails began to flood his inbox. Message boards melted down with virulently-worded threats of violence and death. The gatekeepers of punk rocked gasped, shuddered, and clutched their pearls in outraged indignation.

“I added a lot of funny more messages and hate mail and I expanded on some of the funny experiences I should have really told better. I’ve written a few books since, and once I had my sea legs, I realized I needed to raise the humor level to a Spinal Tap 11." Revised and updated, read about Danny's life and what happens once you become "internet famous."

Never Punch A Rockstar! Haha I remember when this happened. It was like watching your dad get beat up. You felt bad because you realized Danzig was just some guy who was susceptible like the rest of us mortals. I enjoyed the book. So many good bands mentioned. A great insight into the DIY ethic and everything that goes into touring and playing in underground bands.
