It’s all coming together in the exciting finale of The Breach Chronicles—Redemption. New enemies will rise, and old friends will rush to the rescue. Secrets will be revealed. Promises will be made. Promises will be broken. The lines will blur between friend and foe. Everyone is in a race against time, fighting for their life. But will they find Redemption?
I've read all of Ivy Logan's books. It's quite a feat to surpass your first book in a series, but Logan has mastered that. Redemption has taken a wide stride past her two other books in the Breach Chronicles series, which is extraordinary because the other two are top-notch fantasies that can rival any others put alongside them. What happens when evil, power-driven entities pull a thread, and your world unravels around you and unleashes darkness and hatred in its wake? The direction of Redemption came as a surprise, going in a direction I'd not expected. It is a many-faceted plot that draws on every emotion: jealousy, hatred, revenge, tested loyalties, courage, forgiveness, and love. To draw all of these emotions to the surface through her characters is truly a gift Logan possesses. "Siobhan rubbed her hands together, her lips curving into a smile. The threat of the hybrid undermined her self-assurance. She had been second-guessing herself at each turn. Her plan, so long in the making, was finally coming into play. Brother against brother- and she as irreproachable as ever. She'd sown the seeds of despair, loneliness, and anger in Thirio all his life. Sometimes he begged her to let him die, to allow him an escape from his miserable life. How dare he? His life was not his own - he belonged to her ..." The war against good and evil weaves its way through the pages of this book. It is spellbinding. Masterfully crafted. The strength of her character, Amelia, when faced with inconceivable obstacles, is extraordinary. It's as if she has a target painted on her back. Amelia's gentleness and spirit of love is what runs the race well. She is a true heroine in every sense. I have no idea where Logan goes from here, but whatever story she puts to paper, I know it will be exemplary. Between the pages, there are life lessons to be learned. I highly recommend this wonderful fantasy written by an accomplished author. A five-star read.
"Redemption," the latest masterpiece by [author's name], left me breathless and desperate for more. The characters are vividly drawn and grapple with difficult choices at every turn. The ending, while bittersweet, felt authentic and perfectly captured the messy reality of life. While some characters find redemption and forge new paths, others remain burdened by their past mistakes and loss. This emotional weight is balanced by a riveting plot fueled by plot and action that had me glued to the pages. If you're looking for a story that will stay with you long after you turn the final page, "Redemption" is an absolute must-read.
I found this book to be a great fantasy read and brilliant in how the characters were interwoven. Redemption? Is that possible? This is the third book in this series, and it's woven tightly with complex characters who have tons of feelings and emotions that spill forth. Humans are humans, the supernatural war with each other, and there are hybrids and more realm wise. One sorceress finds out her fate when things go awry. Coexistence. Is that possible? Shifting strong pumas and other creatures with humans and more supernatuals fight for love and power. Love mingles with hate. Strong love is strong hate. Death is part of life, yet certain people come back from death. Magic is just that. Deep love mixes with deep pain. Redemption. That can be attained, but what characters will receive Redemption and those who won't is for the next reader to find out.
I was introduced to the fantasy genre by reading "Origins," written by author Ivy Logan. I have devoured everything she has written since that time. Reading Ivy's work is like stepping into the scenes of the book and becoming part of her world. With "Redemption" ending the series, the reader will find that Ivy has woven the loose threads of the previous stories with the addition of this one into the most beautiful visual imagery. Where once there were but varied colors, now we have a completely vivid picture. Well done, masterful scribe.
"Redemption" by Ivy Logan, the thrilling finale of The Breach Chronicles, is a wonderfully told story of love, sacrifice, and resilience. Amelia's journey through new trials without her shapeshifting powers is deeply compelling, while Noah and Adrian's struggles with their choices and loyalties add layers of complexity to the narrative. This young adult contemporary fantasy offers a rich tapestry of emotions and challenges, making it a well-crafted read for fans of the genre.
