Faith #1

Love Gone

Rate this book
It seemed Faith had everything going for her – soul mate, the man of her dreams, family, happiness, pregnancy –until one fateful day when her world was turned upside down.

There is an old saying, when life gives you lemons, make lemonade and that is exactly what Faith did. Faith met Mac Byrne, a tall dark haired handsome man from Ireland, shortly after high school and married the man who said, he’d loved her from the moment he saw her. She knew it was true because she knew him, knew his heart, as well as she knew her own heart. He wouldn't leave her. But Mac’s mother also had an old Irish saying; for whom ill is fated, him it will strike. Now it was up to her to stop death. If such a thing was possible.

Despite the length I found that I enjoyed this book. The characters on one hand were quite credible, whereas others in the plot were a bit larger than life, but doesn't that also mimic modern society? I enjoyed the well thought out twists, but the ending seems to be only designed to tempt the reader onto the next book. Then again this is more like a prequel so I shouldn't be too surprised.
Everything starts as a routine day, and steadily gets worse. A trip to the store, ends up with a traffic accident. Nothing major, just a rear end shunt, and from there things just escalate out of all proportion. Some might say that it isn't true to life, but these things can and do happen.
As I said at the beginning it is a short novella, and I managed to read it in one sitting. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I wasn't disappointed either.

This is one book that left me CONFUSED!! The suspense thriller um whatever else involved will leave you like..

I don't know really why, but just from beginning middle and ending the author had me wandering to myself "okay, WTH just happened?"

So I'm feeling hmm wonder what book 2 will bring!

Not Worth My Time...

I gave this a high 2 stars because I was being generous.
The story jumped too fast for lack of detail and character. I couldn't even identify with any of the people in the story.
Not sure I could recommend this story to anyone. It was a complete waste of my time.

"Love lost"

An emotional tale. Perhaps a little predictable and overly-dramatic for my taste. I wasn't moved sufficiently by this opening story to be drawn into purchasing the other books in the series.

Err.. i'm not sure what to say. I mean it was kinda interesting but confusing. I'm not exactly sure what happened in this short story. Not sure I'll read the others.

Wasn't overly impressed with this short story about a minor car accident gone majorly awry. But it intetested me enough to want to read the next book

I actually really liked this book, it was a quick read and had a good plot. It did fizzle out a little bit towards the end, but it was still good enough to rate 4 stars in my opinion.

Cool

It's a great book but I wish she would've just put the whole thing into one book instead of it being sperate

Fender bender

How a simple fender bender can cause a chain reaction, and change peoples lives. You exchange insurance info., and it is over. Not in this case. What happened to this family, is stuff of nightmares.
