Scandalous is HOT! The chemistry between Cristal and Dominic is beyond any scales. Yes, the book also has suspicion, private eye work, creepy criminal congressman, and fun as can be dialog between the characters, but it is also very hot, did I mention that already?!
I really like Melanie Shawn's way of writing, I love that in the books the story is told as much of from his point of view as hers.
I really enjoyed this novella, and looking forward to more in this series!

Oh no no no no no... where is the ending in this book???
I really liked the story, the way it was going and then I got to the end and was like... uhm, ok really?? This is it??
I need to know more! It cannot end so open and... vague!
Ok, deep breath. Lets start again.
So, we have Cristal who is this undercover girl at this agency, and she is kinda independent, a loner, a survivor... she works with Dominic which is tipical alpha male hottie. They shared a great night and now she is keeping her distance while he wants more... and boy does he get it!
She totally wants him back but is way too scared to give in... I get that but the ending....gah! Guess I will have to read the next book in the series to see if there is a bit more about this couple!

3.5 stars - The book got much better through the middle to end but ended abruptly. I found some of the things Cristal's character saying was overstated in parts. But on the whole it was a good, quick read.
