What I enjoyed from this read....

The novel was the second in the 'Church Gurlz's series and indeed it was a good read just like the first one that will get and keep your attention all the way through the story. If you like suspense then you have come to the right place because I was in awe of it all finding myself even holding my breath a little until I got through that part of the read where I was lead to go from angry, sad and then happy to back a forth depending on what the situation issue was.

The characters were mostly all continued from the first series and were all well defined, developed, colorful and believable. Some of the characters you will fall in love with while their will be some that you will not like. Be ready for a interesting read where there will be much drama that will add to the intensiveness of this emotional read. Even though this series gave the reader a ending, I a still looking forward to the third and last series of 'Church Gurtz III.'' What will this author add to this next series? I found when that author has written another amazing Christian story that I would recommend.

Great book. I really didn't like how HHFowler ended this book. I was looking for more than a 3 book series but oh well. I enjoyed them all.

Your reap what you sow... Everyone in this tale of church folk gone wrong can get it! From lies, to infidelity and murder. The Rev. Paul Lakatos wife, Doreen, got it and her lover, Karl Benton, a real estate businessman, got it too. Let us pray for Brian & Marcia Lakatos, Wynton & Tara Lakatos, Garrison & Jasmine Fowler, and all the folks at Brandon View Baptist Church in FL.

I gave the book a 5***** rating. Next in this series is Church Gurlz #3, The Aftermath, which I will read.

Drama

An interesting follow up to Book 1. Story started off slow but built up excitement and drama. Great character development and storyline. Looking forward to finishing the series.

H.H. Fowler is a very talented author. This was a perfect follow-up to book 1. I was caught up I read it in less than 24 hours. There were a few small editing errors, but other than those, the story was absolutely perfect. I ended the story wondering where the author could possibly go in the third book and rushed to find out! Great work!

Doreen in this story is one of the reasons I date older gentlemen whose mothers have passed on. She is an evil and manipulative woman who needs to have several seats. Overall it was a good and interesting story.

Good wrap up to book one although some of the coincidental happenings were hard to beleive. This one ended left abruptly and you are likely to be pleased with the ending. See my previous review.

Interesting

I enjoyed some portions of the book; however, the grammar and the spelling should have been checked more closely. some parts were unrealistic!
