This book started out strong, with some great points on Imposter Syndrome and how to recognize it. It quickly appeared that the author struggled with it a bit too much to be giving tips on how to overcome it, however. Many of her statements began, "This worked for me," indicating she wasn't sure it would work for others. The section on reading was, well, just kind-of dumb, but maybe that's because I already read so much. I think it still has potential to generate discussion, but as a stand-alone book, it wasn't spectacular.

This book made me feel more normal than I ever have. Although imposter syndrome is something not just afflicting women, it is more common in women in the technical field. It was a great start to my exploration of this topic and I have assisted other women in understanding what imposter syndrome is and ways to overcome it.

As an author, researcher and relationship coach I have to say, What a great read! The author covers every aspect and even gives practical solutions towards the end. I could not put it down. Read it straight through. So glad I read it! So supports my practice of self compassion.
