NY Times and USA Today bestselling author Lexi Blake lives in North Texas with her husband, three kids, and the laziest rescue dog in the world. She began writing at a young age, concentrating on plays and journalism. It wasn't until she started writing romance and urban fantasy that she found the stories of her heart. She likes to find humor in the strangest places and believes in happy endings no matter how odd the couple, threesome, or foursome may seem.

Her first novel, Their Virgin Captive: Masters of Ménage, Book 1, was a collaboration with New York Times bestselling author Shayla Black. There are five more books available in the series: Their Virgin's Secret, Their Virgin Concubine, Their Virgin Princess, Their Virgin Hostage, and Their Virgin Secretary. The next book in the series, Their Virgin Mistress, is releasing this April.

In addition to the Masters of Ménage series, she is the author of the Masters and Mercenaries series. There are eight full-length novels and four novellas available now, with more coming in 2015.

In 2013, Lexi also began releasing her urban fantasy series, Thieves. The first five are available now, with Ripper, a spin-off to the series, coming in 2015.

Review:
My review of Book 1 is basically a series review, so instead of repeating everything, I’m going to focus more on the things I liked about this particular book.

This book is a fantastic wrap-up to the whole Zoey/Daniel/Dev/overthrowing the Council part of the story (it was the end of the series, so you could definitely end here, but I don’t want to say it’s the end of their whole story since there’s a spin-off series in which these three are side characters).

But before I talk about all that, I would like a moment to share something I have written. I call it “Ode to Marcus”:

Oh Marcus, my Marcus,
So much hidden badassery;
When you walked through that police station,
How I fell in love with thee.

Gosh, I love that scene. And I love Marcus, although my love for him kinda crept up on me. I didn’t notice him that much, and then, all the sudden, he was one of my favorite characters ever. Which is why this whole review so far has been about him even though the book was not. And it seems like, every time I reread, I’m reminded of some not-so-great things about him and think to myself, but then I remember that he’s a product of his time and of 2000 years of vampire society. Marcus is still someone who treats his companions and partners well, someone who’s willing to grow, and someone who has a lot of depth, and he really was helpful to Daniel and Zoey. He’s not perfect, but that’s part of what makes him such a great character in the first place.

Anyway… all the rest of the characters! I should probably talk about them too! Like…

Zack, the wolf who was a kiss-ass sometimes but who would sacrifice his own life in an instant for the people he’s loyal to.

Lee, the scruffy, beer-drinking, nap-loving lone wolf who’s more animal than man but who pushed aside his desire to roam in order to be there for his unconventional pack.

Neil, the gay wolf who was kicked out of his pack but who has this incredible inner strength and is the best, most loyal friend anyone could ask for. (Honestly, the more I reread this series, the more I appreciate Neil and feel like he’s the true hero here.)

Chad, the lawyer-turned-vampire-spy who feared for his own sanity and made you question whose side he was really on.

Sarah, the witch who made mistakes but made up for them and was there for her friend in the end.

Felix, the fallen angel who fell in love and is always the voice of guidance and reason.

Marcus, the 2000-year-old vampire who might have some outdated ideals but is compassionate and loyal and really just wants to find a true love of his own.

Marini, the head of the vampire council who might have been a good man once but who became unhinged and hardened throughout his many years of life.

Declan, the faery heir to the throne who may be an inappropriate jerk but who carries the heavy burden of a future king and has proved he’s capable of doing the right thing when it counts.

Dev, the faery prince who was shunned by his people because of his mortality and who felt expendable but is fiercely protective of the new family he’s found.

Daniel, the vampire who felt like a monster after becoming the Council’s death machine but wanted to do what was right and whose biggest fear is that this new life of his will be the death of the people he cares about.

And Zoey, the human who never lets anything stop her, supernatural or otherwise, when it comes to those she loves.

*sigh* Can you tell I love this series and all the characters in it?

As for the rest of the book, it was on par with the rest of the series with all the same great things. This author did such a great a job with the depth of the characters, the emotions, the complex and touching relationships (including romance, friendship, family, and found family), the humor, the action, and the plot. This book was tense, intense, and filled with so much struggle for the characters. I felt so much for them.

Not only that, I’ve mentioned before that each book before this one had a somewhat self-contained plot, but that the overarching plot was being set up the whole time. And this book took all those details and things that were set in motion and brought them together in an amazing and natural way that gave a satisfying [semi-]ending to the story! I appreciate the complexity of the plot more each time I read this series.

There’s nothing left to say that I haven’t said already. I do have my issues with this series, but my gosh, I just love it so, so much because the plot, the characters, and the relationships are so wonderful. It’s one of my absolute favorites, and I hope I never get tired of rereading it!

*I've read this book multiple times. This review was written after my 3rd read.*

3.5 stars (rounded up because it really was a great ending for Zoey and her men!)

Months after returning from the sithein Zoey, Daniel and Dev are still searching for the one person who may be able to save Daniel by removing the silver bomb attached to his heart and until they do that they are completely powerless to do anything to stop Marini and the rest of the vampire council. When Zoey is forced to hand over the Blood Stone to give them more time she unwittingly hands Marini the key to take everything he has ever wanted and now they're in even more peril than before. Now her only choice may be to hand herself over to her greatest enemy in the hope that she can steal the Blood Stone back in time to save the men she loves.

Steal the Night is the final story with Zoey as the main character and it really was a fitting end to her, Daniel and Dev's story. I've loved watching the relationship that has slowly built between the three of them since the beginning of the series and was really pleased with the way things ended for them as a triad. They haven't had an easy time of it and there is more hurt and loss they'll have to get through in this last book but I think they've definitely earned their HEA now.

There was a lot to love about this book, not just the relationship between the three main characters but also Zoey's friendship with characters like Neil and Sarah, her brotherly relationships with Lee and Zack, the alliances they have slowly been developing with the werewolves, fae and some of the vampires and the world that they're trying to build for the future. So many of the side characters from this world had a chance to shine in this book and while some things broke my heart others left me with a huge smile on my face.

While there was a lot I enjoyed about this world and I love the series as a whole there were a few things that stopped this being a 5 star read for me. The main one was how things unfolded with Marini, I really didn't like the way Zoey had to spend so much time with him or the things that happened while she was there, I know the author was trying to show the danger of the world but I found some of those scenes very hard to stomach reading. Then there's the fact that there was very little aftermath for everything Zoey has been through, she seems to forget about everything within seconds whenever either Danny or Dev are around and if you're not going to make her feel the full emotional effects of what she's suffered then I don't think it's worth putting her through it in the first place. I was also confused about the way the story ended with a certain wizard, it looked like he was going to be a major player in the story and I was worried about where that plot was going but then it just completely fizzled out with no resolution. Perhaps that's because we'll see more of his character in the new spin off but for now it just left me feeling confused.

So, while I did enjoy most of this book and I definitely loved this series but I don't think this was the strongest instalment compared to the first four books. I'm really looking forward to starting Ripper though, I can't wait to meet new character Kelsey and I'm very excited that Marcus is going to play a larger role in the spin off because he's been a brilliant side character so far.

Edited to add that I upgraded the rating from 4 to 5 stars on September 30th, 2018 after another reread.

There is a lot that goes on in Thieves #5 and plenty of people make reappearances, have a bit more depth added to them, and I became closer or moved further away as a result. New characters also emerge, some good, some not so good. Zoey, Daniel and Dev are on the run as Louis Marini, the head of the current Council, becomes more power and blood crazed. More obsessed with Zoey. More powerful with the Blood Stone in his possession.

There is a fairly big Arthurian bent to this book. Zoey, her guys, and her/their entourage end up in London, then Wales, and boy do they create havoc. Total havoc. They meet the Order of Galahad. They meet the demon that is Merlin. The legend behind Excalibur takes on a whole new supernatural/mythical purview. Daniel needs a bit of heart surgery, forget anything you might know about cardiology, and they shore up even more allies as their need to change the corrupt Council and install Daniel in his position as the rightful king becomes a necessity.

The romance that has built and built throughout the series between Zoey and Daniel and Dev is tested and fortified, even with Stewart the doubt demon back and up to his old tricks. While it doesn't reach the (bi) heights I was hoping for it's still a very satisfying love story because I like all of the individual personalities and they mesh well as a triad. And hallelujah! hallelujah! my favourite body sharing fertility deity, Bris, is back... and he's in fine form.

This book throws the reader quite a few twists and turns, and, oh my god, the feelings it launches. Lots of damn feelings were pulled out me while I read. It's a throw the Kindle of events and feelings.

Niggles.

I'd love to revisit Zoey and Daniel and Dev (and Bris) in the future, I'm not sure about the spin-off series, because these original MCs really make the Thieves series what it is, along with a lot of help from their crazy, funny, and wonderful friends. So I'll say bye and thanks for the love and the adventure, Zoey, Daniel and Dev, I hope to see you around.

Zoey, Dev, and Daniel have survived hell, zombies, disgruntled angels, attacking werewolves, an alternate fae world, and even a political rebellion in the vampire world, but will they be strong enough to survive Merlin?

The climatic conclusion to Zoey, Dev, and Daniel's fate in the Thieves series.

I started reading this book knowing it would be the last in the series. Bittersweet would probably be a good word to use as it's been my experience that authors usually do the whole tying up any loose ends, walk down memory lane last of series book. Though enjoyable the usual debate is whether the fans agree/disagree with how things ended.

Until I remembered this is Lexi Blake we're talking about. This book added a whole new adventure for the trio to face though some of my favorites from the previous episodes do show up to help or hinder the adventure (depending on who it was). And. Just when I thought I knew where things were going the author does the whole blindside/360 turn thing that left me too emotionally drained to continue. There is one scene that had me putting down my book for a couple of days before i could stand to pick it up to finish. Heck, I even sent a PM to the author herself expressing my STRONG feelings about said scene. Those of you who have read this installment know what I'm talking about. Those who haven't. Sorry. Nonspoiler code of conduct.....

As for the adult content/erotica. Lexi (also known as Sophie Oak) is a Mistress of menage relationship erotic romance stories with a BDSM slant. Anyone who's read her stuff knows what I mean. Those who haven't? What are you waiting for?

As for the option of reading this as a standalone. Nope. Not advised, recommended, or even a possibility if you haven't read the previous installments. The series builds off the previous installments but this one especially requires the reader to have a working knowledge of past and present characters and situations.

I do want to include this one vague yet very pertinent comment about my feelings about this particular book. I totally appreciate the mind of Lexi Blake and am in awe of her ability to weave such a fanciful story that is non stop action filled suspenseful excitement for the senses. It's an exceptional author that can generate such strong emotions in her readers when she takes a chance and does the unexpected. Though I may not always agree, I can respect and appreciate that decision. I just need to have more faith when things like this happen.

Personally loved this series and if you're a fan you HAVE to read this one. :D

A Komodo dragon like shifter is NOT a dragon. *still hoping for a dragon in this series* This last book before it switches over to the Hunter series is a doozy. I cried. WHHYYYY!?!?!? Noooo. Please, don't let the one I like die. *rails at Ms. Blake*

This is an emotional powerful climax to the end game. There is so much in these 240 pages I'm frankly shocked how Ms. Blake fit it all in. The pace to this book is fast yet slow. Let me explain. Some of the pieces fall into place too quickly. Yet there are other times when Zoey is imprisoned where it felt forever. This is cleverly done to keep the story moving and to show how torturous it is for Zoey. Bad things happen. Ms. Blake fades to black to prevent a reader from being too traumatized. Most romance readers will appreciate it. For those of us who are dark and depraved, it is fine. It's not that I would want to read the graphic raping or torture. It's that it wouldn't bother me. I I think Ms. Blake does a good job avoiding the graphics because it isn't her style and it would throw the tone of this book completely off. Plus it really isn't necessary.

What I liked is how there is a tongue in cheek deus ex machina. Very nicely done. It really isn't a deus ex machina because of how well Ms. Blake sets it up. I loved it because it reminds me of a time in her other series where she specifically calls out a female character for being TSTL. I bow down to Ms. Blake's mighty pen.

I loved this ending to how Danny fights to be king. People are lost. There is a grave cost as part of this war. There are also a few lose threads I noticed that are not tied off yet. This makes me very hopeful that it will appear either in another Thieves book or show up in the Hunter series. *hint hint - what the hell happened to Neil?* Now that I'm completely caught up in this series I now languish in wait for the next book to show up. Highly recommended for urban fantasy lovers who also enjoy an erotic manage, a kingdom to conquer, enemies to kill and a lover to save.

Zoey, Dev and Daniel have been through a lot as a couple. They faced all sorts of hell, disgruntled angels, scheming demons, death and conniving faes. They have been through dangerous situations as individuals and also as a couple. I have respect for them. This series was a roller coaster. OMG, I was flabbergasted and my mind was blown.

Steak the Night was the book that tied everything together. It was a book that completely awed me yet I was more vocal in. They were certain scenes that made me throw my kindle away and also curse multiple times. But that is the beauty of a book. To be completely in vested in a book that it will make you lose your mind. And it made me bonkers trust me. Steal the Night had everything - palpable action, intrigue, suspense and a touch of magic that left me so spellbound. I was completely sucked in with my whole mind, soul and heart.

I recommend you to read from the beginning. This book is not a standalone. To be able to understand the events of Steal the Night, you need read book 1.

I'm sad this portion of this series is over. I've enjoyed Zoey, Daniel and Dev's story. Hopefully, we'll get to see how little Lee and Rhys are doing when I move onto the spin-off series.

4 stars!!

Aduh aku pengen banget kasih rating 5 bintang tapi... ada beberapa hal minor yang membuatku sulit bernafas (pun intended). Pertama2 aku mau menghela nafas lega karena akhirnya Steal the Night adalah buku terakhir. Yay!

Sial! Buku ini benar2 menguras emosiku luar dalam. Friend or Foe? You will never know.

I was so emotional. This Lexi, Chick, author did a number on me. I swear I felt Bi-polar reading this series. Up cheering and happy one minute, ranting under my breath and pissed the next minute. I'm still upset about what she allowed to happen, but Lexi knew how to make me all but forget about the tons of stressful back to back drama. Yep, this story was a serious kick butt, sexy, drama, tough girl who loved harder than any heroine character to date.

That Ending! Enough said. I'm out of here.

OH MY GOODNESS THIS NOVEL. I feel like it was a series all its own. It was crazy from the very start of it. With everything coming to a head we all knew this was going to be the bang we were waiting for. Throw a few new characters into the mix and a gang that is going to see this out to the end and I was in for it. I wanted Daniel to take his throne and I wanted to see Zoey and Dev right there with him.

This novel doesn't let down. It gives us a crazy story we kind of new we were getting with ALL THESE OTHER STORIES LINES! Tons of crazy that I didn't know was going to be coming. I felt like I spent half this book yelling at my e-reader and the other half in tears. Lexi BROUGH IT with this book. She went al in with our gang and pushed everyone to the limits.

With the hurt of the last 5 books, this family was ready to find their happy ending. I knew not everyone would make it through this war, but my heart is still breaking.

Okay, I don't want to talk about that though. I can't do it. I want to talk about the fact that Lexi Blake managed to deliver a novel that had all of the information as wanted thrown into it without having it feel crammed, or too long. A perfect balance of awesome.

If you loved the first 4 novels then you will read this. I don't have to convince you, I just need to tell you that you will be satisfied and that you just need to hang in there. Have faith in our Trio and the band that they call family.
Synopsis:

Sometimes a gals work is never done!! Zoey now has the Blood Stone in her hands, and Marini is demanding that he get his hands on the object. With the device on Daniel’s heart a constant threat, Zoey and the gang are determined to find a way to overcome the hazards of the device. Their quest will be riddled with ups and downs in this chapter of their lives. Looking for help will lead the group to an unlikely ally….Merlin.

It’s a magical world when paths are crossed with Excalibur, the Lady of the Lake, Merlin and other mystical elements. Possibilities in this tale are endless and riddled with excitement. Daniels life is on the line and Zoey will do anything to save the man that she has loved her entire life. With Marini controlling Zoey, unexpected allies will be the driving force in putting an end to the reign of one of the oldest vampires around. As with anything that seems to cross Zoey’s path….there will be a ‘price’ to pay for giving Danny the freedom that Zoey and Dev so desperately desire.

What a wild ride!! The thrills for Zoey, Dev and Danny just keep on rolling. With Danny’s life hanging in the balance, Zoey and the gang lead readers on on heck of a thrilling ride. The plot to Steal the Night is no less thrilling than the other books in the series. It does provide a few more tears than the other books!! This triad rivals all others in the romance department. Lexi Blake has pulled me in with each and every book, and the thrills just keep on coming!!

While Steal the Night is NOT a stand alone, I strongly recommend this series to all lovers of romance. In fact - you do not have to be a paranormal fan to enjoy the elements of this novel. It’s engaging, gripping, and I just can’t get enough of the ménage that is Danny, Zoey, and Dev!!

It's so strange how over the course of a series, your opinion of characters can change so drastically. When Lee first came into Zoey's life, he was an annoyance. Now I love him as much as I ever loved Neil. Such a bittersweet ending! Loved this, and can't wait to see where these characters go next.

The Thieves Series is a must read!

This series is so masterfully written that you will lose track of time and everything around you as you embark on a new mission to steal the unobtainable. Lexi takes you on an incredible journey through several different worlds where you meet some very unique and memorable characters. Steal the Night begins with the journey to find Merlin. They have to get that device that Marini has put on Daniel’s heart removed if he ever has a chance in hell to be king. The journey they embark on to find Merlin will keep you on the edge of your seat.

The banter between characters is hysterical. Lexi delivers so many funny one liners I could not keep track. I laughed out loud to the point that the people sitting next to me on my flight to DC were giving me strange looks.

Dev sighed. “i can’t get Dan interested in public sex. There’s even a club here in Dallas. He won’t let us go.”

OMG! I died laughing when I saw that Lexi had referenced Sanctum in Steal The Night. I don’t know how Ian would feel about vampires and faeries hanging out at Sanctum.

Zoey again is the babysitter for her husbands as they try little experiments with each other. I loved it when she chastised them for their stupid stunts. Just to let you know they pull a lot of stupid stunts.

Before long Marini appears and wants what Zoey stole for him. The blood stone. Once Marini gets his hands on the blood stone and its power is revealed all hell breaks loose. In the exchange he manages to get a taste of Zoey. He was obsessed with her before, but now she is like his heroin and he cannot live without his fix. Lee steps up to the plate again and becomes Zoey’s rock and protector. She loves him and he loves her like family and he will do anything to keep her safe. He is her one loyal ally in this mess that keeps her secrets and that helps her preserve her sanity as things spin out of control. There are so many twists and turns on this thrill ride that you will be clinging to the edge of your seat bracing yourself for what is going to happen next.

Lexi put her heart and soul into this series and it shows. Zoey, Daniel, and Dev experience tragic events on their journey that I am almost positive Lexi has experienced herself. I believe she wrote this series as means to work through some heartache and pain she suffered in her past and share with readers that they are not alone. I cannot thank her enough for taking a risk and writing something so memorable that it became a part of me and found its way into my heart and soul. The love that is portrayed in this book will grasp your heart strings and never let go. I bawled like a baby when I thought that Lexi had killed one of the main characters. You never know what to expect when a series comes to an end. Don’t be deceived there is loss in this final chapter but you will awestruck as to how that loss is formed into a new beginning.

Lexi Blake is an artist when it comes to writing urban fantasy. I am grateful everyday that I have been a part of this journey and I am so excited to see what is in store for us next.

Take a deep breath...inhale...exhale...inhale...exhale! Ok, I think I'm ready now. I will try my best to keep this review short and sweet. When it comes to this series, or with any Lexi Blake book, I can talk about them for hours and hours. There is just something about every single journey that Lexi takes us on. I never want it to end. It's so magical, so intense, and so damn beautiful that the reality that you stepped away from to enter Lexi's world, is no longer appealing AT ALL! I would stay submerged in them if that was at all possible. I would just love to bury myself inside Ms. Blake's mind and live there forever. The gorgeous, vivid imagination that this woman has is ridiculous. Suspenseful, paranormal romance is her calling, and I am just ecstatic that I was along for the ride.

My favorite trio is back and people are still trying to take them down...SHOCKER! With the Blood Stone in hand, more and more enemies come out of the woodwork. There is never a shortage of enemies when it comes to Dev, Danny, Zoey, and the rest of the crew. If you are a fan of Arthurian legend, then you will absolutely love this latest installment of the Thieves Series. Merlin, Lady of the Lake, Excalibur...I just smile at the great modernization and imagination from the author when it comes to this legend. It was brilliant to say the least.

OMG! I know what you all are waiting for! You want me to spill on Dev and Danny's relationship! NOT GONNA HAPPEN! It is SO JUICY though, you have NO IDEA! There is one scene....WOW! I don't care who you are, what gender you are, what sex you prefer, Lexi Blake couldn't have written two male characters more perfect, and who compliment each other so well. It's PERFECTION. The love, the tenderness, the complete surrender that these three show one another is beyond reproach. I fell hard for all of these characters, it is simply impossible not to.

As an avid fan of the Thieves novels, I was informed that I might throw my kindle during a certain part of Steal The Night. I have to say that I was definitely informed correctly. Not only did I want to throw my kindle across the room, I wanted to demand a re-write of the scene right then and there. But, I am a grown woman, so I stayed patient, and even though Lexi Blake shattered my heart into a million pieces with one particular scene, slowly, with her brilliance, she eventually put it back together again. My heart still hurts, but only for longing of when I will see a certain character once again.

Steal The Night is not a standalone title. This series must be read in order. I'm not going to say much about it, because I'm afraid of giving something away, but just know that once you begin, you will be hooked. There will be no turning back. Put the coffee on, and be prepared for a long night.

Super satisfying conclusion to the five book story. There are more thieves books, but they feature a different heroine and her suitors.

Steal the Night picks up about two months after the events of Steal the Sun. Zoey and her family must first find a way to protect her husband before they can set their master plan into motion. This felt like the final installment featuring Zoey and crew, however Lexi Blake continues on within the same world where these characters appear in her spin-off/same world series, Hunter (first book: Ripper).

A LOT happens in this book and there's not much I can say that won't be spoilery. Now that I'm invested in the lives of Zoey and her family, I may re-read Ripper as a refresher on how they're featured in Kelsey's story at the start of the spin-off. Lexi tied up any loose ends created in the first four installments of Thieves, so the Hunter series could be read without first reading those.

Oh my Lord, I totally know who is gonna be with Marcus! I haven't finished reading the book yet (still only half way through), but this just occurred to me: Jacob, aka Apollo, prophesized that the one Marcus would love would be descended from Zoey's great-grandmother. Case in point, Summer.

We found out in the last book that Summer was really Daniel's and Zoey's child, so I hope she is Marcus' true love. I love Marcus. I want him to get some lovin' too. He deserves it.

And is anyone else disappointed by the follow-up series to "Thieves"? I mean, from the reviews I've read, Daniel and Dev are not painted in the best light, and it's another three-some, with the new UF heroine, a half-demon, and Marcus! I don't think that I am happy with that. So, is Marcus gonna end up with Summer?

You know an author has sucked you in when even 5 books in, the story can make you cry and laugh with the characters. Fantastic plots all the way through, fast-paced and well delivered humour to break the tension. I'm bummed that I have to let these characters go, the author did a wonderful job of leading the reader through the growth not only of the protagonists as each book progressed, but also of the development in their friendships and romance. Brilliant work Lexi Blake, you've made it on my auto - buy list!

Edit 24-10-17: I've changed me rating to 5 stars because dude, I knew what was coming and I still cried. I frickin' cried!

READ THIS SERIES!!!! In all the books I've read (tons upon tons) this is hands down the best ending to a series as it could be. I cried my eyes out, I cheered for Z, Danny and Dev. I lost myself in this series from book one. I don't review books often because usually the followers of an author spread word rather well. This series compels me to share how amazing it is. I can't wait for Jan next year because I'll be up at the crack of midnight to read the next thieves series. Mrs Blake you have raised my standards of books and I look forward to everything you have to write in the future!!

LOVE this series

Words cannot express how much I love this series. I go without sleep, ignore my children and race through only to be upset that I'm done and there's no more. The pace is flawless, the excitement spot on and the sexy times, as always with Ms. Blake, hot as hell. While some parts I definitely saw coming, most were good twists and surprises. Definitely a must read and no cliffhanger this time! I am also excited the story will continue even if it is with secondary characters. Ah Marcus, you will get yours...

Review is of the bundle that includes books 1-5.

I was craving some paranormal romance (PNR) lately. I read a lot of romance books and putting some PNR into the mix helps break it up and keep it fresh. Also, I just love taking an escape into a world that is completely different. Whether it's vampires, werewolves, fairy, gods, devils, and anything in between, I'll read it all.

This series by Lexi Blake has so much going for it. It's humorous, heart-wrenching, angsty, action packed, and full of so many other emotions that it's the true definition of a roller coaster book. I look forward to diving into the rest of the series where a new heroine takes center stage.

The relationship that evolves between Zoey, Daniel, and Dev was my favorite part of these books. Yes, I loved the action and all of that stuff but this thing between those 3 was what drew me in. It started out as a love triangle and became so much more. I never really rooted for one or the other guys because they both had something with her that I liked.

The only reason I didn't give this bundle 5 stars was because of the fact that there was too much sex scenes for me. I do like that in my romance books but to many can really be an overkill. Then there was the fact that sometimes their problem solving skill was sex. It magically made everything ok. I didn't buy that and I would have liked it to be solved another way.

Even though I had a couple issues with this, I still think you should give them a try. Lexi does a fantastic job at world building, story flow, engaging scenes, and drawing her audience in. I'm glad I read these books and they did fill that need I had for a good PNR story.

Steal The Night is the final instalment in Zoey , Daniel and
Dev 's story. I am not going to lie I almost didnt want to start this book just because I was so sad to end this series. This book was an excellent conclusion to this series .Marini is back for the blood stone and Zoey has to give it over and the worse thing is when she gave it over she didnt know just how powerful it was and then on top of this she is still dealing with greif of what happened in Faery. I wanted to give Zoey this biggest hug ever during this book, she is dealing with so much. We spent most of this book trying to find aways to stop Marini , I love that in the end everyone came together to fight against, unity was a very important theme in this book. The romance was wonderful, then again this is a Lexi Blake book so of course the romance is fantastic, we get to see Zoey and Daniel and Dev strengthing together and of course having some ridiculously hot sexy times scences lol . I love this series as whole I t probably made me feel every emotion you can think off lol and Iam so sad it over .. but so happy with how the story ended for all my favourate characters . I love that everything came full circle in this book .The Thieves series is one of the best paranormal romance series I have read this year and Steal the night is an excellent conculsion to it .

This book absolutely killed me. I read through a night and a day because I just HAD to find out what happened!
So many things, so many terrible things...
I cried when Lee died. Strong, loyal Lee.
I cried when Neil was dragged to Hell. My sweet Neil, who reminded me so much of the early Logan from the Bliss series, all positive and happy.
I cried when Zoey believed Dev was dead even though I always thought it was just an illusion from Chad.
I cried when she was forced to stay a captive for weeks, drained of blood and raped on a daily bases.

This book was a brilliant ending for this series even though it's clear there will be more to the story: what happened to Neil in Hell? What of Merlin? What of Nimue and Arawn? The new generation, Sean, Rhys, Lee and Mia? What will be the repercussion of Daniel being King?

So many questions that I hope will be answered in the spin-off series. And I will, of course, start reading it right away! And then I'll curse myself because I know the latest book won't be out before Summer or Fall 2018 :(
But then... I got addicted to this story: it's my companion's blood!

So she has time to binge-watch reality TV and play Dungeons & Dragons but not enough time to figure out the nature of a powerful relic, desired by their greatest enemy??? Gah. It's like she learned nothing from the Remus paw thing.

Also, maybe don't Double gah.

Plot was super full of holes in general. ()

Ending was also sorta anti-climactic for a battle that was five books coming.

All that said, I did get quite attached to some of the characters (Lee, Neal). I also appreciate the series-wide depiction of how the boys negotiated the ménage.

OMG what a fabulous example of paranormal romance combined with a cracking storyline

No plot spoilers
No real potential triggers, although there is a load of violence and a fade to black scene regarding passive rape.
This series has been a total blast to read, I have no idea why I have not left feedback before now, I've had the books for years. Anyhooose, I shall rectify that error now.
To obtain the best read you should read the series from the beginning, without starting at the beginning and following the developing storyline it would be difficult to read this book as a standalone.
We have Vampire kings, council leaders, werewolves and witches all woven into the plotline so expertly by Lexi Blake it's easy to keep track of who is who and which side they are on.
The characterisation is outstanding, Lexi is always able to draw the reader into the storyline with perfectly crafted characters the reader regards as family.
The sex scenes are HAF, there is copious swearing and quite graphic violence. What's not to like??

4 stars. Aww, happy to see all the troubles are over for the Quinn- Donovan family! This was a library loan and I lost my notes when the book was returned. Oops, oh well, this will be a brief review. I did really like this conclusion to the Thieves series (or at least the part focusing on Dev, Daniel and Zoey). I loved the triad and I was very happy to see them get their much well-earned HEA. These guys went through SO much that I felt bad for them. I really liked them all together and felt their love and connection. They stopped fighting against each other and fought for their happiness together. I did want to see them happy for a bit after the climax and I wanted another sexy scene between the 3 of them, but that's just me being greedy. I love the world that was built in this series, the sexiness, suspense and all of the fun side characters. Overall, this is just a great series that I highly recommend! And I look forward for more to come from the Hunter series spin off.

This is the last book of the series. There is an offshoot series I will start, but this book ends with an exciting climax to Daniel, Dev, and Zoey's story. As soon as they leave the world where Merlin healed Daniel, the three and their protectors are confronted with Marini and his horde. The ensuing events took me on a roller coaster of emotions, and I went, willingly. I rate this series in my top five, ever. Filled with magical creatures and worlds, there is no possibility left unturned. I won't reveal any of what took place, but suffice to say that it all satisfied, intensely! I would highly recommend this to anyone as the books flow with an ease of the written word that is unparalleled by most. I love Lexi Blake, and don't know how I missed this earlier series earlier, but I've read it now, and highly recommend it.

I really enjoyed the majority of this series -- I think the relationship was well-written, and all of the characterization & character-driven portions of the story were phenomenal. However, the last book was pretty disappointing. It was one catastrophe/major plot event after another, all meant to be super emotional, but each one was somehow resolved within a few pages, including the climax of the entire series. All five books were building to the war between Daniel and the Council, and that was . . . over. All the sudden. Time for a happy ending. Which, of course, I love happy endings! And I know there's a spin-off series that I'm assuming several of the loose ends will be part of that series, so I'm ignoring those things.

All told, I really enjoyed this series & I'll be picking up the spin-off.
