Not sure how I made it this far, but this is where it ends for me. I DNF. It was simply too immature and for much younger audience.

Look I'm trying to keep my ratings for this series unbiased but I love this series so much and it's just a comfort to reread them. However I do love the characters, banter, fight scenes and just how badass everyone is

When I found the first book in this series free on amazon I read the blurb and downloaded it. I am on a bit of a fantasy kick at the moment and it sounded right up my alley. The series is a YA/NA urban fantasy.
The books are full of so much emotion, I cried more than once over the course of them. It is easy to get swept away with the friendships, family that is built and with the love between the main characters.
The characters are a group of mages with some really interesting powers. Ryanne's powers develop & evolve over throughout the books, she gets more kickass as it goes on. Ryanne feels like such a real person when you read about her, her emotions & reactions are so easy to relate to - she is easy to fall in love with.
I really loved all the good & bad surprises that popped up, it was not easy to predict the outcome & i loved that. There is action & excitement in every book and parts of it had me on the edge of my seat.
I would recommend the series (it took me less than 24 to read the four books & yes i did sleep at one point!). I will also read more by this author as I really liked her style of writing.

Third in the series and to be honest, at this point, it has became very repetitive and I couldn't really keep my focus while read it. I was predictable in what was going to happen and to be honest, in a book, that is the worst thing that could occur.

Ryanne is sick of everything that is going on. Everyone around her is either dying or getting hurt and she has had enough. Watching Colton die before her eyes kills her inside and she has now got to face Dravin and kill him once and for all before he destroys her and everything in his path. He cannot take her powers. He is does, he will be unstoppable.

I really like this series...I like the characters, they are fun and sweet. Love the movie lines throughout it. But seriously it felt like we were reading the same things over and over. Pass out, fight, wake up, Pass out, fight, wake up..."I am not good enough". I was waiting for it to end!!

The last chapter made me want to read the next book. Good way to end it. I just hope the next book builds and does not keep repeating the same scenarios.

I liked the first two books. I did. but this one just fell flat. how many times can a writer describe a persons day? these people showered and changed clothes and watched movies more than anything else. oh and the endless drama of "I'm not good enough, pretty enough, strong enough" crap from the main character wore thin in the first book. by this book, I wanted to pull my hair out. seriously this book could have been 30 pages long.

Struggling don't know if I will finish this series, first couple of books I weren't too bad, but I feel like this third book is so repetitive. 50% off book must be about what they ate, what fancy gymnastic tricks could be done....it's all a bit too much

Wow......just wow

The excitement is killing me. Ryanne is just a child, but has so much compassion and magic that she should be unstoppable. Colton is her soulmate, finally established. The group of mages fight against her being captured by Dravin or his henchmen. She is tortured, beaten, bruised and killed, but has always returned to fight another day.

Her friends protect her as best they can, but sometimes she is taken in plain sight, and held against her will. Dravin must be stopped and this band of Avengers are the only ones who can do it.

This is a special series, one that gets better with each book. I actually find myself in the midst of the pages, routing for the good guys. Love the characters.

Read on my.

There is some repetition like books 1&2 but this book has more grit to it, the story is actually coming to life.

Better character building development and great scene building. Things are starting to get more interesting and the new characters add some much needed spice. I do find myself smiling and laughing at bits too.

Ryanne is definitely coming into her own as her confidence and powers grow, although she second guesses herself a lot. At least the start of a plan is coming together.

The Prophesized Series by Kaitlyn Hoyt

This series is what I imagine ambrosia to taste like, you know unattainable to mere mortals, addictive, wonderful, magical with upper tones of spice and dashes of sweet, something that will burn going down but leave you begging for more, something so amazing that you will gladly except the fire just to have that silky dreamy feeling spread through your whole body, yes like that but so much more. Ryanne is my freaking hero not because she can be super bad ass but because she's real, like prone to mini melt downs like us normal people!! She's loves super hero's (who doesn't right) and the Big Bang Theory!!! Omg'sh right it's like taking a peek into your life minus the fact she's got more magic then
she knows what to do with, but that's not going to stop her from trying, trying to stop a villain and his followers and protect the family of her heart. Colton I wanted to smack him upside the head or give him a stern talking to but Emma had my back on that one and then there is David who doesn't love extended brothers right!!! Then you have even more amazing characters like Liam, Larken, Tom, Aunt Claire and I can't leave out our beloved Logan, and there is many more wonderful characters whom Kaitlyn brings to life that for me lives in my heart and my mind. Every book but the last one will end in a CliffHanger but don't freak because all the books are available, you lucky, lucky readers!! Lol I had to wait and that was sooooo very hard to do with this series, I knew when each book would come out yet I checked every week like it would magically change.. {True Story} I am not going to give a single thing away because you all deserve to read this series!!! Let me say I love the characters in these books, each book makes you fall deeper and deeper, they end up taking up a beloved spot in your mind. (Except The bad guy ;) In the Prophesized Series Ryanne will teach you that this world is not always black and white and that sometimes the grey areas need love too, by the end of the series you will go from shock, happiness, grief, anger, pain, sadness and joy!! Or at least I did!! I never regretted buying this series and to date I have read each book a total of eight times, yep eight times I have gotten to read my beloved series. Ryanne and Colton, now there is a epic story!!! Each character has a story within this story each person has a voice that is heard throughout the entire series, they are not background noice. The Prophesized Series is about Ryanne changing from who she was, to who's she becoming to who she will one day be she grows with each book, she becomes more then Ryanne she turns into the flame, and so much more!! If you love paranormal romance then I highly recommend this series, Five Stars for sure. I was not paid or given a copy of this book for my review this pleasure was all my own doing!!
Enjoy

Where do I start, I am truly gobsmacked by the ending of this book and can I say that I did not see that one coming. It better not end like that or I will have to cyber stalk the author (in a good way of course). It felt like it took forever for Ry and Colton to come to terms with their feelings for each other and I liked how it was not this "instant love" that is so common in these types of books. It felt more real this way and their attraction to each other taking a back seat compared to Draven's thirst for power and the constant abductions not knowing if Ryanne would survive this time.

Ryanne was such a likeable character, someone I would call a friend if she actually existed whose selflessness and loyalty far outweigh her insecurity and naivete. I would almost clap my hands in glee when Draven was thwarted yet again and don't get me started on Adam, there is a bullet out there somewhere with his name on it. This book pushed all my buttons, tons of magic and mayhem, action packed and a sweet romance while they are trying to save the world, lots of hotties to drool over and a storyline that keeps getting better with every book.

Larkin is a favourite of mine, I love how he keeps winding Colton up by making sexy comments to Ry and while it is harmless as she does not care about him that way it is entertaining. Great group of friends all round, Liam is the brother she never had and he is a great extension to her small family. Someone who has no agenda but who genuinely cares about her wellbeing and having the ability to sense when she is in trouble, most of the time anyway. Friend will become enemies and new alliances will be formed and the "movie quotes" are endearing and make me smile. I totally recommend this series if you like adventure and heartstopping tragedy with bittersweet moments of love and redemption.

Series is becoming repetitive. I feel like I just read basically the same story in book 2. I will read the 4th just to read the conclusion but honestly I don't have high hopes.

I really wanted to love all of the books in this series, but much to my dismay, this one just fell flat. Not that it was awful, I just could have done without 2/3 of it. At this point I think we all understand the whole train/shower/eat/vision/sleep cycle and after a hundred or so pages of it I just couldn't go on. I ended up speed reading a huge chunk of this book and skimming page after page because it was just repetitive and anti climactic. The end is yet another cliff hanger so onto book number four I go, hoping for a little more spice, new scenery and a fulfilled prophecy.

I DNF this book at 35%

The first two books we're kind of okay. I liked them and I also liked the characters. Nothing much had happened and I was expecting that a tleast in the third book something was going to happen. But guess what? NOTHING HAPPENED. The same things keep repeating. She keeps getting visions, training, have breakfast etc. I must admit this, I really wanted a love-triangle between Ryanne, Colton and Liam. At least there would be something interesting going on, but again that didn't happen.
There were a lot of errors and that was very annoying.

Oh my gosh! I love love loved it!!!! The characters are as funny as ever, the movie references abundant, the action enticing, and the twists never ending! I CAN'T WAIT for the next book. This cliff hanger is KILLING ME, but the amazingness of the book makes it worth it. Once again Kaitlyn Hoyt has come up with an amazing installment to the Prophesized Series. She continues to impress me with each and every book. This is definitely an author to look out for.

The first 2 books in the series were solid. Halfway through the third book I found myself thinking - oh come on she can't be that good at EVERYTHING. Props to Ms. Hoyt for self-publishing books while in college, but her age definitely shows by the end of the series.

Books 1 & 2 qualify for a reread. Books 3 & 4 - nope!

This book picks up where the 2nd one left off. I am enjoying the character development of the old characters as well as the new. This is an entertaining read for me. Ryanne just can't get a break!! They are continually challenged with seemingly no end in sight. I did not want to put this book down. And yes, it leaves you hanging again!!

One of the best books I have ever read!! I loved all the characters individual personalities and the way they interacted with each other. I got lost sometimes with all the names because there were so many characters but I would have been sad if it was any other way. Can't wait to read #4!!
