Very short compared to the initial story, this widens things out a bit and takes us further away from Earth.
I admit some of the sex got a bit much and the plot reveals were all pretty obvious, but I still enjoyed the story and it's great to discover these after only ever thinking book 1 was all there was.

This wasn't as great as the first book. The main character wasn't as active. He was mostly reacting to stuff that was happening to him. There also wasn't much of a character arc.

The only saving grace is that this is a short book, much shorter than the first one, so at least it is a quick read.

The second book in the series, VERY well written and just when you thought everything was over and good for Jason Fox, the plot gets even better. I loved this book though it is MUCH shorter than the first book.
