1997年韩国陷入经济萧条，朴槿惠眼见民生多艰、国家危殆，毅然重返政坛。书中详细描写了在加入大国家党之后，朴槿惠如何以原则和信念立身，带领大国家党踏上破除陈年积弊、夺取国会议席的征程。

Park Geun-Hye's autobiography gave us a clear understanding of her bitter past. From the first time reading about her father who was called the "dictator" to reading her autobiography about her parents and family, I could only admire this woman. I'd say it is this woman who will bring Korea a much brighter future than now.

I think, when she says she doesn't have a family or a child of her own, therefore she is going to devote all her life in the Republic of Korea, we could easily believe her. Yes, reading such a politician's autobiography, one should have a critical thinking. But still, there is something special about her, as you can read it from her life.

The translation is not that fluent, I mean, Chinese. This is one of the problem of Chinese translators nowadays. Their English or foreign language ability is impeccable, but their Chinese are not that good. So how can they express a completely foreign text along with their re-creation...



Obviously, I am obsessed with Korean culture now. I read each word of my Korean Magazines (of course in English). When I saw some historical sight in Korea that has some Chinese Traditional written on it, I was so happy to read them and dig a little more.

My attention starts from Nothing to Envy, and that's about North Korea, a country we called neighbor. This time, South Korea. Nobody in China is a totally stranger of South Korean culture and so on so forth, but to get one step closer, it is not that easy.

其实对朴槿惠的故事挺感兴趣的，但是这种政治宣传式的自传好没劲。（给低分的都是男的让我难得地对自己的低分有点难受…

Speaking of the book alone, it is quite inspiring and delivers a very positive image and fighting women who has been dovoting to her country. After the scandal, I have no idea what is the truth and what is lie.
