In this exciting new worldview curriculum for children, Kevin Swanson presents the very basics of a biblical worldview for children. At some point, every child needs to see the "forest from the trees." This introduction to a biblical worldview will help kids make sense of the world around them, and it shows them the big picture of God’s truth in the Bible. Presented in a simple, engaging way, this study guide provides a basic introduction to truth, ethics, origins, causality, anthropology, sociology, family, church, civil government, education, economics, defense, crime, and charity. Workbook assignments, games, puzzles, and more are included at the end of each chapter. Recommended for ages 9+.
Kevin Swanson is a husband, father, pastor, radio-host, and national speaker. Kevin is the pastor of Reformation Church in Elizabeth, Colorado (ReformationChurch.com).

So, here’s the thing. I’ve seen and used a lot of Bible curricula over the years…
…and so, so much of it avoids going deep or getting to the meat of the matter. Whether that is the result of trying to be too ecumenical or what, I don’t know. What I do know is:
From the back cover: In this virulently humanist age, parents must give their children a biblical perspective of the world around them. People everywhere are tossed to and fro by many false philosophies in a raging hurricane of post-modern, post-Christian humanism. Now more than ever, we must bolt our children down to the deck of biblical truth!
I actually thought it was going to be too juvenile at first glance, but their recommended age (9+) is, in fact, perfect. There are some big concepts (such as understanding what epistemology is on a basic level) and serious topics (such as abortion), and I would not recommend it for ages younger than nine. Other more sensitive topics briefly touched on are euthanasia and capital punishment.
We’ve been working through it for a number of weeks now, and the conversations that have stemmed from it are priceless. Both my 9yo and 11yo are enthusiastic participants, and it’s been such a joy. You can absolutely use it at any pace–it’s set up with 10 chapters, so if you only have a few minutes a day, it would be easy to finish in 10 weeks. My kids and I were able to work through it slightly faster as we spent more time each day on it.
Seriously consider adding this to your family’s reading. 🙌🏼
This is a relative short book about christian worldview but it does a great job at explaining the fundamentals. Highly recommend as an introduction to worldview thinking.
If you need a basic course on a Christian world view, here it is. We used it for family worship and the children enjoyed it. Some of the topics had to be explained to our younger children. We enjoyed the overall simplicity.
