Well you must all check out the new cover for this title over at amazon... It’s much saucier than this and I think it suits the story put forth. I know - Don’t judge a book by its cover - but that’s what certainly grabbed my eye to start with ;)
Along for the Ride is my first read of Michelle's work and it certainly won’t be my last. I brought this book knowing that it was the second in the series. After reading the blurb I was intrigued to read on. I didn’t find I had missed anything by not reading the first one but will certainly be doing so.
Detective Megan Matthews works with Crime Scene photographer Ryan Andrews but since the day he took her photograph by accident at a crime scene she has not spoken to him since. It made headlines and her life changed.
Ryan has tried everything to get her attention, but when nothing works he's left with only one option. But is blackmailing a cop into marriage really a good idea??
I have to admit, overall the blackmail option came across a bit over the top for me, but after reading the whole story I did enjoy it... and certainly changed my mind.. Its a story anything can certainly happen ;)
What man would stoop as low as to blackmail a cop into bed?? lol.. Certainly one who is love stuck.
Now you’re wandering how this storyline will venture on?? At first I must say I was a little curious to, a head strong detective, being blackmailed by a hunk of a photographer... Really if she felt no attraction to him would she let this scenario take place??
After a dinner date with Megan's parents, Megan finds herself drawn to Ryan. I must say the sparks were certainly flying and the attraction evident.
But Megan is the no strings attached kind of girl, and she tries to kid herself into thinking it’s all she wants. Hot sex and No strings, but Ryan brings out more in her than she ever bargined for.
Megan wants Ryan to tantalize her, make her loins throb and do all those bad things to her. Under the covers he is certainly more than meets the eye. ** wink **
Megan's mouth often gets the better of her, and in time finally realizes that not every time she is right.
Along for the ride - is a tantalizing sexy read, romance entwined through the pages, with also an engaging storyline. Sex that will make your toes curl, a bit of added humour mixed in to give the reader a good array of goodies.
The characters are certainly likeable ;) The sisters a hoot, and Ryan sexy and hot even as persistent as he is. He certainly is more than Megan bargained for. A man who takes charge......
Overall, an erotic romance, with chemistry that sparkles, sex that's hot, and even sensuality mixed in to give us a sexy hot read. A little background extra with Megan and the police force but the underlying storyline is about Ryan and Megan.

I liked the story and some, this book is hot, hot, HAWT!
But ..geez..Megan is so rude and mean to Ryan, like, all the time that it really, REALLY, gets to a point you really want to shake some sense into her. I like heroines with strong personality but not this much, not to the point of being harsh.
Overall it's a good book if you enjoy the EROTICA genre.
Actually, It's MILD erotica if we can call it like that.

I really liked this book. There wasn't much plot other than continual sex. I enjoyed it because it made me laugh right along with the characters. I was disappointed in how little description there was of the characters. If he was so good looking then I want to know!
