FAIRY THOUGHTS

“The very next time I needed a Replacement. If it guaranteed me more time with you and your brother then I was going to do it and that I did.”

“I’m thankful for their sacrifice because without them you wouldn’t be with me right now.”

So many lies! So many secrets! So much betrayal that is stemmed from love! That's how I would sum this book up!
Mattie and her family are Immortals who need to kill people by taking there life force in order to stay alive.
When Mattie meets Hunter she feels like maybe she might have a friend!
Then her brother starts acting weird, disappearing all the time. When she finds out why she's floored!
So many people are keeping secrets from Mattie.
What a great different paranormal book! I really enjoyed how its different from other paranormal books!
I wanted to s make Anette! Hunter too!
I can't wait to read the next book in series Red.

I was given this book by author in exchange for an honest review

Just when you think everything has been done, an author comes along and creates something new. And that is just what you get with Green, book one in the Life Force Trilogy by S. Briones Lim. Here we meet Mattie Barwicke, a nineteenish year old immortal who isn't too happy about what she has to do to remain immortal.

Coming from a family of immortals with paranoia problems, Mattie is used to keeping to herself and staying away from mortals--until she meets Hunter, a handsome twenty-year-old who accepts her secret. But we learn that Hunter has secrets of his own, and Mattie is faced with an important choice that will test their budding relationship.

There are some grammatical errors in the book which might get on the nerves of serious grammar-nazis, but the originality of the story greatly outweighs these errors. I am the type who text messages in full sentences, and if I can enjoy Green despite these errors, other readers can as well. If you are looking for a unique and interesting YA paranormal read, check out this book. But be prepared for a shocking ending! Thankfully the next book in the series is out already. I'm hoping Lim won't leave me heartbroken.

Loved loved loved this book!!! I mostly read adult romance books (50 Shades, Bared to you, Real) and only have read a few YA novels (Twilight and the Lux Series) but I have to say that I would rank this book as one of my top picks!!! I loved the chemistry between Mattie and Hunter and Hunter has become one of my book boyfriends (even though i might be a little too old for him..haha).

I don't want to go into too much detail but the build up is great and i'm a sucker for the 80% "WOW" factor! The ending was AWESOME (happy ending? cliffhanger? I dunno and won't say...haha) and it made the entire book worth it. I am feeling a major book hangover but I'm really really really excited for the 2nd book. I bought this book and finished it the same day...don't pass this one up! To the author...you did such a great job!!!!

I don’t know how to fully express how much I loved Green: A Life Force Novel. I enjoyed it so much that before writing my review or doing anything else, I immediately checked to see if the next book was out. Thankfully Red is out and I immediately purchased it! I fell in love with Mattie and Hunter. Was frustrated with Uncle Max and mad at Zach….but let me tell you, it’s those emotions that makes a book so worth reading. I would recommend this book to both Fantasy and Paranormal lovers. I can’t imagine anyone not liking this book!!!!
