They have it all: money, looks, popularity, anything their little platinum-encased hearts desire. They also have a new face. After Lauren Page's unexpected and brilliant maneuver at the fall VIP dance, she is in so tight with Ashley Spencer, the number one Ashley, that she might as well be Ashley's favorite pair of leggings.

But a new website, www.ashleyrank.com, catches on like the flu in February, and for the first time since kindergarten it's open season in the popularity race. Lauren Page sees a way in, Ashley Li and Ashley Alito see a way up, and Ashley Spencer sees a way to prove there's only room for one at the top.

Lauren and the Ashleys become closer after Lauren askes them to be on her tv show. The Ashleys start to become jealous of one another while competing on the reality show. They learn many new things about each other.
A text-to-self connection is with Lili because both me and Lili try hard in school. Also we are both like nice but are sort of push overs. We both try to make new friends and stuff.
I rate this book five stars because it was really fun to read and it was really interesting. It was so interesting I read it all in one day. I recommend this book to people who read and liked the previous Ashley book. Also if they like books about cliques and preppy people.

Melissa de la cruz's ashleys are pretty-much wannabes of the clique. They're all pretty, popular and extremely mean. Ashley spencer is like massie block, the alpha,Ashley li is like a alicia rivera-kristen gregory hybrid, and Ashley A is like Kristen. De la Cruz must've gotten her insipration from the clique series. Only the clique is waaaay better

Al doilea volum din seria ”Ashleys” a fost un pic mai interesant pentru ca fetele au acceptat sa participe la o emisiune televizata pentru adolescenti. Pe langa asta, a aparut un website misterios care ameninta sa le distruga reputatia. In fiecare saptamana aparea un clasament, in care fetele primeau note pentru stiluri (stil in societate, stil in mod, stil de a zambi, etc.).

I really liked this book, and I enjoy how unique all of the characters are to each other. It's also quite enjoyable reading about a group of girls with my name.

The book started out with Ashley Spencer fawning over her school hottie yet ultra-short boyfriend, Tri (and of course, being arrogant towards all the other girls), A.A. being annoyed with her best friend Tri dating Ashley, Lauren still struggling to fit in and carry on with her evil plans, and Lili feeling totally lonely with her boy-less world.

In the end, most of the girls had learned something important, excluding one certain girl who I'm sure will in the next book. I'm very much looking forward to reading the next one.

IN the second book in this series, someone adds a website where the people in their school can vote for the most popular person in their school. That is the reason why the novel is called Jealous, because all the ashleys and lauren are having conflicts between them because they all want to be the most popular person in their school. Oh! Before i forget now Lauren hangs out with the ashleys because she saved Ashley Spencer's life.

Jealous (The Ashley’s)
Plot: Trying to get back into the Ashley’s good graces Lauren invites them to be on a reality show that’s a contest between sets of friends in different cities. The favorite out of the set goes on to the next round to share an apartment with the other winners in New York City. So Lauren sets up The Ashleys as her “friends” Along the way of this Lauren’s popularity increases and she starts dating two guys she meet at the same party. Ashley has started dating Tri, but she’s getting worried because he hasn’t made any moves to kiss her yet. AA is discovering that she *does* have feelings for Tri and spends most of the book avoid him or getting smart with him. She finds a distraction in a guy she meets at a party, although Tri informs her, he has a bad reputation. She’s drawn even closer to him when Tri kisses her admitting that it’s always been her he likes. (He just felt guilty about almost killing Ashley. He was the one that offered her the vanilla cupcake). Yet Ashley manipulates things. When Tri tries to call it off with her she convinces him to go to the contest result party with her. When AA sees them arrive together, and because Trip hasn’t texted or called, she thinks he’s still with Ashley. Ashley further tells her she’s the one that wants to break up with him, but it's hard because he’s so in love with her. So AA decides that even though she’s been putting Oliver off, he’s showing her interest-which is more than Trip is doing-. Meanwhile, Lili is still trying to force Ashley out of the number one position. And a new mystery blog that ranks all the classmates going around is helping. Everyone thinks Lauren is behind it, but it wouldn’t surprise me if it was Lili. Lili also has a new crush on a guy that she meets at her French tutors named Max. So she has her hands full with getting his attention, outranking Ashley on the blog, and being the winner of the contest.

My Thoughts: (Rolling my Eyes)!!! Not much change from the previous book. Lauren is *still* missing the mark! Instead of keeping her motivation simple-which it really should be- she AGAIN gets caught up with trying to squeeze her way into this clique of snobs. Which is why I just can’t like this character. She’s wishy-washy. The blog thing is VERY Gossip Girl and I don’t think I buy that it was some seventh graders that admired The Ashley’s. Rather I think it was *one* of the Ashley’s. The very one that stole the number one spot right out from under Ashley. Which is why Lili may just be the best character once again. I don’t particularly think much of Ashley, but in the case of her and Tri, I like Tri less. Dating someone out of a sense of guilt or obligation is NEVER a good idea. Whether he meant to or not he still led Ashley on. It’s confusing and tiring when guys do bs like this (adult or teenage), and there’s just no excuse for you making a female think you have feelings for her which you do NOT! And then just drop her out the blue for the person you do (and have always had feelings for). Although I will say this. I don’t particularly feel bad that Ashley got dumped because she turned around to save face and lied to AA. And it felt good that even though she won the show, the show, in the end, gets canceled. Karma is a bitch! And I also didn’t like Lauren’s decision to play these two guys, but I have a feeling that will end by the next book. I guess just NONE of these characters really do anything for me. They’re shallow, materialistic, and cotton candy. They really aren’t even that enjoyable to read about. Their antics are pretty juvenile and eye roll worthy. But when I start something I like to see it through so….

Rating: 5 Typical Cliquish junior high stuff.

This book kind of reminded me of gossip girl. It wasn't as good as the first one and I hated how poor Tri ended up getting hurt at the end

This book is a sequel of The Ashleys. It seems like everyone at Miss Gamble's Academy is jealous of the Ashleys, including that dorky Lauren Page, who is still trying to fight her way to the top. So, basically, there's a lot going on this February for A.A., Lili, and Ashley Spencer, the three girls who make up the popular clique "The Ashleys". Then, a new website called "ashleyrank.com" pops up out of nowhere, and people start following it like a 90's boy band. This site that ranks the seventh-grade girls at Miss Gamble's by smile, style, intelligence, and social presence opens a window for all of the Ashleys: Lili and A.A. find a way to overthrow Ashley, Lauren finds a way to finally get "in" with the popular crowd, and Ashley finds a way to keep her queen bee status and push everyone else out of the way. Plus there's boy trouble, catfights, and a whole lot of drama in this book.

I can connect to this book with a text to self connection because I would be like want to be on the Honor award board too like Lili and I wouldn't think of that as a "lame thing" what Ashley Spencer do isn't fair to Lili or A.A. It's like she's taking over their life, in order for Lili and A.A to be stop treating like that,it's right for Lili and A.A to fight over Ashley Spencer to be the leader of the clique.

I rate this book 5 stars because the sequel to this book was so amazing when i read the 1st book I knew that the 2nd book would also be interesting. I can feel that Melissa de la Cruz had spend a lot of time to write this book using depth of thought and specific details about cliques. it attracts me to read the series.I recommend this book to girls who likes book about cliques, and drama books.

Lauren Page thinks she's finally back in with The Ashleys. All she had to do was ask them to be part of her group on the new reality TV show, Preteen Queen. But the launch of a website that's used to rank the girls at school causes more problems, especially when secrets are being withheld.

Lauren hadn't expected her life to be perfect once she was in with the The Ashleys, but she'd never suspected all that went on behind the scenes.

So Lauren's new plan is to rank with The Ashleys on the site. Her long-term plan, after all, is to take these girls down and make the 7th grade a better place to be. She soon realizes, though, that there's a reason the Ashleys have stayed at the top for so long -- and they're doing everything possible to stay there.

I found the second book in THE ASHLEYS series to be better than the first. Ashleyrank.com was a unique idea and, though this series is quite a bit like THE CLIQUE, it put a unique spin on the book. A lot of the fashion references were wasted on me, but I still enjoyed this story and I will be waiting for the rest of the books in the series.

Slightly better than the last book that's for sure. Lauren is as stupid as ever but thankfully this is more concentrated on The Ashleys than it is on her. The Asian Ashley is growing up personality-wise; she's learning how to break free from the head Ashley and even has a love interest. The boy magnet Ashley finally realizes her feelings for an old friend. The head Ashley is facing her own trials with her own boyfriend and desperately wishes for a kiss since she's the only Ashley who still hasn't kissed yet. The TV thing helped bring out a hidden part in two of the Ashleys. It exposed the Asian Ashely's ambition to be number 1 and the head Ashley's determination to hold a firm grip on her seat as the head.

What I didn't get was why Lauren managed to win two guys over! There must be something wrong in this world!!!

I just finshed reading this and loved it is my kind of book.... I read alot of books like this.

The ashleys (if u haven't read the first one) are these group of girls who are super popluar and rich plus each one of them is named ashley.

In this book they go back and fourth between all the ashleys to see what they're thinking including lauren pagie the new kind of member who wants to ruin them and so far doing an okay job.

She invites them to do a reality tv show with her and they do. In it they go behind each others backs and lie and their friendship is at a total loss.

I would recommed this book to people who like drama and reality.

Let me just say that I'm being generous when I give this even a star.... actually I don't even feel that generous. Make it 5% of a star (and that's only because it has words in it). I'm telling you it was that boring. I'm sorry for being so harsh but I seriously hated myslef for even picking up the book. I shouldn't even put it as read because truthfully... I couldn't even get through the whole book. I just didn't click into it. It seemed like the characters were all the same and a little unbelievable. I felt the author droned on and on and on about petty things and I couldn't torture myself any more. Sorry but not something I would recommend to my friends.

Recommended for middle school. Girls who like the Clique series will love this series about a group of seventh-grade girls in an exclusive private school. The three most popular are all named Ashley, and they rule the school. Money, brand names and popularity are all that matters. In this volume, a reality TV show called Preteen Queen and a website called AshleyRank threaten the status quo.

I read this series a while ago so I don't remember what happened in which book exactly but I liked it.

I stopped reading at about the third book because I had other series I read coming out, and this book is a little more juvenile but entertaining.

If you like the Clique Series you will like this. I would totally recommend.

This book is mainly about 3 girls who all own the first name, Ashley. They were the most popular girls in the whole school. Outside they are friends, but on the inside, they fight for popularity. And another girl Lauren Page doesn't like how they rule the whole school, and decides to ruin their place in school.

Great Read. Iam glad I gave this series a chance! I really love all the characters De La Cruz really captured the emotions of the typical teenager and friendship really means at such an awkward age. I love the boy characters also Alot more mature than the typical 7th graders I ever knew years ago. Can't wait to pick up the Third book Birthday Vicious!!
