Red Light is a quick-read erotic mystery with all the sexy fun readers have come to expect from the critically-acclaimed author Alexis Shore.
This is a fast story with just a bit of suspense. The focus is best spent on the erotic parts. The mystery plot needs a bit of work. There were a few plot holes that made the sleuthing not so smooth.
Ms. Shore does write some lovely voyeuristic sex. This one is one I enjoyed because of its naughtiness. It really didn't need the slightly cheesy detective aspect. The manor itself was a pretty hawt idea. It would be nice to have maybe an off shoot of it called the "Red Manor Dairies" or something like that. Because those cameras would see a lot in the raw. Hmmmm. Recommended for kinky voyeurs.
Private investigator Emily, or Red as she liked to be called was hired by Olivia to find Henry, her boyfriend. He had fine missing from their bed in the amount of time it took her to get a drink from the bathroom. Red has Olivia take her back to the house to investigate and see what she could find. Not only did she find Henry but she also solved the mysterious things about why Olivia looked so familiar to her.
